Terrible way too expensive for no reason! Me and my gf went I signed up for a full body massage she signed up for “only” a feet massage. My back was touched maybe 3x and I was told to turn over barely 5mins into the massage she massaged my feet for the remainder of the hour. My gf got a full massage which she only asked for feet and maybe 5 minutes of her feet done. They totally disregarded what we asked for even the guy up front was telling us afterwards the stuff we included on the tablet to get when signed in they don’t even offer the add-ons and was confused why they were on.

I had a deep tissue massage with Kim. She was professional, personable and gave an amazing massage. I would definitely recommend her.
Everyone at the spa was warm and welcoming. It was a very relaxing experience.

I absolutely love Deisy at Desuar Spa ! I’m doing micro needling with her and I saw a huge improvement after ONE session ! Her hydra facial was perfect and I love how knowledgeable she is about skin care. I love the Spa, very cozy and relaxing. I can’t wait to try a massage but the facials are 100% recommended.

I got my friend a facial to this location and he went today. He said the staff was really nice however he said he was taken to the back at 653 and then the session ended at 725. As he was paying he asked if it was an hour. The cashier looked down at her time and awkwardly realised it was barely 730 as she was ringing him out. It was pretty obvious his session was only 30 minutes as I picked him up at 734 and his appointment was at 7. Anyways point is is that if the session is for an hour then I would of hoped we got the hour. Great staff. Great customer service just short time. We get that there's 5 minutes at beginning and 5 at end to get ready but he clearly only got a 30 minute session. It was his first time and I really wanted it to be special. He liked it but he wasn't pleased with the price for the time. Neither was I.

Everyone from the reception to my masseuse was lovely. Jacob got everything all booked, and I believe Katy was a very strong masseuse. The facilities are beautiful and very clean. The only issue was the website and release form. The user experience wasn't fluid. Everything else was great.

I’ve been a member for half a year now. Unfortunately, the quality of masseuses is unreliable. Sometimes my massage is amazing, other times it is mediocre. You can’t depend on your favorites being available consistently, so you’re forced to take a $160+ gamble on a new masseuse.

Claudia was the best masseuse I've ever had work on me. Lifelong athlete, former fitness professional, and now turned Sanitation Engineer who lifts recycling containers all day. She knows her stuff!!!

I loved my experience. Marina is a true professional. Very knowledgeable, respectful & considerate, asking if u r comfortable with the pressure & ambiance of the room. She has angel hands! Also the front dest staff r very professional & helpful. Lastly, the building is beautiful & very clean. I had an excellent experience.

I came here for a deep tissue massage and got exactly that and then some! As a dancer and working professional who spends a great deal of time on their feet, I get massages to relieve tension and to stay mobile. I love firm pressure and Claudia is VERY STRONG even for a muscled athlete like myself. I would say she’s stronger than many of the male masseuse I have gone to.

If you’re looking to get a deep tissue, ASK FOR CLAUDIA! SHE IS AMAZING!!!

Firstable the place doesn’t look as on pictures, Second Carmen was noisy during our Massage session. She needs to have a better work ethic… Plus my wife made a reservation for her birthday and she didn’t received the attention she was supposed to get, I thought our couple massage would be so romantic and different. So Disappointed at this point of view, the only person that was excellent during our time at the Spa was Javier, He really knows what he’s doing at the “Spa”.

We got there right at our scheduled time and they took us in right away….. definitely doing this again @ massage envy!!! Thank you!

Make an appointment with Claudia now! She is one of the best massage therapists that has ever worked on me. She's so knowledgeable with anatomy and in-tune with with her hands. She's great at understanding whatever issues you're having and addressing the root of them. You can tell She really cares about the well being of her clients. I've seen her twice already and feel So grateful to have found her. I'm officially a regular now and I reccommend her confidently! Gracias Claudia!

This is literally the Best spa I've had the privilege of experiencing. From start to finish, it was a Diamond level. Brava to the team for Everything! Just wish they'll consider Washington DC as a new location! 😍🙏🏽

Booked my appointment online through the app. Couldn’t get ahold of anyone on the phone to answer questions. Hours to reply to text. Day of the appt they tell me someone called out and they can’t provide the couples massage we paid for. Fine, I politely request a refund. They completely cease to reply. Now having to go through credit card company. Avoid this clearly incompetent and dishonest establishment.

I’ve booked a 60 mins massage on the 7th of May 2pm with Helga, paid and confirmed the appointment straight away using MindBody app. I have arrived 10 mins early to a locked door and no staff members around. I’ve called and no one answered, I also talked to employees at the reception and no one so the spa staff members today. I have a flight soon so I want be able to rebook. I want a full refund and apologies for the inconvenience

The experience was amazing. The facility is not only historical and beautiful, but clean. The staff is so friendly and professional. I left feeling like a new person. The massage therapist, Marsha is the best! I have already booked another appointment.

Tried it on a Groupon special. $81 for a 50 min Swedish massage. Paid a little extra for the CBD rub. The spa is chill and relaxing even though it's off a busy road. Chrissy was great. Even got a complimentary glass of bubbly. I would like to try the DTLA location that has slightly more menu items

My wife and I booked a massage together but not a couples massage. They gave us a rose petal, lemon, and sea salt foot soak and some nice tea to drink to start off. Then they put us in the couples suite which was a nice bonus. This place is nice, clean, and the staff is friendly. The massage was excellent. The masseuse focused on the areas I told her to and avoided the areas I told her to avoid. My wife and I left feeling very relaxed. I would definitely go back.

My dear friend was visiting from FL and we decided to meet at Desuar Day Spa. This was my 1st time there and it it did not disappoint. All the things you read about read about the parking and it being in the basement are true. It did not however retract from the beauty and the ambience. The place was very clean and we were there in the middle of the day on a Wednesday and we were the only people there!!
We were provided with a warm fluffy robe and slippers on a locker and all the amenities.

I chose a "scrubassage" (scrub /massage) combo. The scrub was just OK, but the massage was amazing!! I highly recommend Javier.
I should have forgone the scrub and had a longer massage.

The experience would have even been better had they really paid attention to the volume of the music. It was too loud! I asked that they lowered the music once, but then it somehow became loud again. It was very distracting. That earned them 4 stars.

Overall I could definitely see how this would be a quick refreshing retreat in downtown Los Angeles.

I previously given a 4 star review but I’m so disgusted by my return visit. There was no one to check in and I wandered into to spa and found my own locker. Then after I was waiting for massage My therapist Jennifer informed me she would be 30late! There is no sauna or steam services like promised. After tipping, I found a mysterious $25 charge on my cc almost 15 days after my service. I called and complained and was told that was the tip she felt she deserved. That’s fraud!!! IT WAS A BAD MASSAGE AND THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU!

What an unpleasant experience. I arrived early as requested to fill out paperwork and the lobby is closed. After contacting the business, an employee arrives to assist me without wearing a mask. While waiting, the employee is on the phone booking an appointment. I asked about the complimentary beverage and am told it will be better after the massage. The business is also not clean.

This business was not in the database with the Better Business Bureau, but I just submitted information about this business and filed a complaint against them for $534 in charges for services not rendered. This information may be publicly availably anyway, so I am also posting here.

I went in for a massage treatment one time. The massage experience was good, the specialist did good work and gave good advice. The specialists they employ are all very good at what they do, they are reputable professionals.

It's the business practice that's puzzling. They seem glad to take money but are not responsive for customer service resolution.

I don't recall ever signing up for a massage membership and they don't seem to have records themselves.

It took a little while, but I caught records of recurring charges from Frais Spa on my bank statement one day, temporarily froze my account, and filed a claim.

The company has sent me vague text messages saying they'll look into it, they're busy, there's a bridal shower, please call back, etc.

It was a rainy day in downtown Los Angeles so I decided on my last day of vacation to get a massage. Frais happened to be directly next door to my hotel. I walked in to see if I could schedule a 'day of' massage and the owners were super sweet and accommodating. The spa and steam room were clean, cute and relaxing. They had all sorts of products at your disposal! I had a 1 hour massage with Shea. She was incredible. I like my massages with very firm pressure and she was able to help release a lot of my trigger points. I think she even went over my 60 minutes! What a wonderful find and relaxing day in the city.
