I scored a last minute appointment with Eventide and was so thankful I did. I had a fantastic massage with Syd, who was professional, kind, and intuitive. I left feeling fantastic for the first time in months, and look forward to my next visit!

Mary is great! I highly recommend her. My complaint is scheduling is hard and always not available. I can’t get the person and time I want and I am sitting on high credits that can’t be used. Not worthy to keep the membership!

I accidentally booked the wrong time and they were amazing at rescheduling for me. If you need a great deep tissue massage, Lauren is your guy. I had the 60 minute massage and 30 minute reflexology.

Michael has always worked with me around scheduling appointments that work best for us both; whenever any part of my body is having issues, he will research massage therapy methods to help alleviate the pain/issue bothering me. I would 100% recommend Michael as a masseuse therapist.

Michael is an amazing massage therapist. He incorporates elements of deep tissue and Thai massage, and I’ve felt positive benefits over time, particularly with lower back and neck pain from too much computer work. Highly recommend Eventide massage.

Julia provides the most relaxing experience every time I have a facial. She is knowledgeable about skincare and makes you feel comfortable during your facial. I’m looking forward to scheduling my next appointment with her.

My wife and I enjoy our trips to Portland to get a massage or facial at Massage Envy. Amelia does a wonderful job at the facials and you leave with your face feeling smooth and refreshed.

Margaret is great at tailoring the massage to exactly what you need. I prefer "medium" pressure but she is very capable of deep tissue if you need.

The only issue I run into is that the location on Portland is quite busy and appointments are scheduled 2-3 months out. Unfortunately, on more than one occasion my appointment has been canceled due to an employee no longer working there. It seems it's very hard to find and hold onto the massage therapists.

It wouldn't be too big of a deal of it weren't for the fact that I pay a monthly fee for their services. If the services aren't used, it remains as a credit on my account. As a result of all the cancelations, I have many credits on my account that I can't even use before I get charged for another month. If I were to cancel my membership, I'd then lose those built up credits.

Contacting corporate for Massage Envy is pointless. They take absolutely no responsibility for their locations since they are a franchise and issues that arise are handled at the sole discretion of that local franchise's owner, which to me, is unacceptable. After all, it is still all one company and lord knows they take my money all the same. To claim you can't help with membership issues at a store that would have had to have been approved by corporate to open in the first place is lazy and a disservice to their customers.

My ending complaints are more directed at the corporate level massage Envy and not the local store in Portland where everyone has been very helpful and pleasant.

Julia is such a vibrant human being. She cares deeply and you connect on a soul level when receiving services from her. This is far more than a standard service.

Super experience with Mary yesterday. She listen to my areas of concern and spent extra time on them . Very pleasant visit. Looking forward to seeing her again

Andrew at massage envy in South Portland is incredible. I’ve been seeing him for at least 8 years and he is the only reason I continue coming back. I come every other week to see him. I would rate him 5 stars easily!!! The front office is a different story and I’m really upset with them. I wont be renewing my membership because of this situation. I had to cancel a same day appointment bc I was sick… like really sick and they charged me. I called back a few days later to speak with them and they stated they have a strict cancellation policy and it had been charged. So I would recommend you still going to your appointment even if you’re unwell. I wish they would have offered me to gift the massage to someone else but I didn’t think of that until later. Several years ago I had to cancel same day and they were super nice about it. When you attend appointments so frequently it’s bound to happen twice in a 8 year period. I’m just super disappointed in this company.

They con you into a cheap rate initially,
but then they keep raising the rate. Suzzette, one of the managers there made me feel uncomfortable. They were rude and started yelling at me when I questioned why they texted me a rate of $70 but then charged me $84. She was very unprofessional, considering I had been going to this place for years. Then she lied and said she worked there for over 10 yrs.. Which is not true. I canceled my membership. The mall does better massages.

The one and only bad thing I can say about Massage Envy is their turn around rate for their masseuses. Every time I feel like I’ve found “the one”, their gone a few weeks later….then it’s back to square one. If they could manage to keep a steady solid crew, they’d have 5 stars from me.

Absolutely excellent massage. Michael is an undeniably talented masseur who takes genuine care to address your specific problems, and is sure to make you more than comfortable while doing so. Easily the best massage I have ever had in New England.

My whole experience with Michael was fabulous. Despite being in masks and following protocol, I felt relaxed from his first welcoming. Michael was thorough in his safety practices as well as his care for my personal needs. The massage was exciting because he used some wonderful techniques that I had not experienced before. Very relaxing place to get a massage and they have lots of additional services to add to your experience. My favorite scent is the energize scented orange to add to the oil. You can also add foot services with warm wahcloths and rubs, and the new vibration tool gets deep into the muscle where some therapist just cant reach without this tool. It makes for a much more relaxing time and really relieves my tired sore achy muscles after a long day at work. Andrew is extremely detailed oriented and meticulous to make sure that he gets all your focus areas that are bothering you the most. He's got a great personality and gives outstanding massages. You will not be disappointed and you will feel revived afterwards.
