Very nice, updated dorm. Daughter likes very much

Carla Walker is tripping

The building is an drive health hazard for all who enter. Black mold grew for 8 months while living there. Summer residents are given false advertising and inflated prices for an experience that could bring bodily harm. Building is dark and dreary.
Beyond the endemic building-wide mold problem, the entire building is a fire hazard. The single stairway is wide enough for a single individual, and forcing passing by individuals to turn sideways to squeeze passed.
I never experienced claustrophobia prior to living here. Even just on the third floor, I was in constant fear for the effect of a fire.

Great vibes!! Free for GW students

Great dorms for college students. Secure facility

If you’re not ripping bongs are you really living in Munson?

Kinda mid

Lovely set up. Unfortunately, the two sink area in the Opus Hall suite, has one sink that won't drain and leaves questionable deposits, while the other sink drains very slowly. The shower also backed up, but facilitate staff fixed it immediately. He explained the sink issue: installed incorrectly I feel he was set up for failure. Information staff did allow an additional key on a lower floor to utilize the sink. Not quite necessary as at least two suite mates did not wash their hands after bathroom usage, only quickly ran hands under water. One suite mate had a wonderful friend offer the usage of her sink only a few doors down the hallway. I feel befuddled that only one person of four were offered assistance from our own group, when inclusivity would have been such a kind gesture.
Still appreciate the usage of this campus for our AVP USA National Gathering. Later, both sinks became unusable, and the men had a toilet overflow from 3rd floor to 1st.
Although stated available, no shuttle access granted and there were a handful of mobility challenged individuals on site. Beds were not lowered until the evening of the second day. Yet, for many issues, our group leaders and university staff worked together, but for many other issues only the sound of unhappy crickets.
As days multiplied, I would notice how friendly and helpful all staff (from various departments) were until Sunday morning. Third day no protein or hot item (except toast) offered for allergen friendly breakfast diets. I was peckish and needed more than the limited fruit offered and toast. Requested to speak with the chef who instructed me to contact her with any issues, but was denied access. Instead, I was offered the option of eggs cooked at the omelet station. This particular kitchen staff seemed quite wounded and angry. Not once did she greet anyone. However, she repeatedly snapped at those waiting for omlets and slammed dishes, bowls, and spatulas. Although the line was short, I waited over an hour for the two eggs allegedly cooked on an allergen friendly part of the grill, which were cooked beyond tasteless dehydration. Rather than hand me my plate, she set it down directly into the leftover crumbs of previous allergen plates. I immediately became ill and was unable to return fully to my groups activities.
This is so unfortunate due to the many other staff who were approachable, problem solved, and very friendly. I will not leave the review on a negative note as I realize that hurt people hurt other people, and rather wish that kindness, grace, and forgiveness be extended to the upset staff...hoping that she is open to it.
Rather, my intention is to write kitchen staff directly to thank them for all of the goodness offered.

Very pleased .clean and staff was helpful and friendly

GWU dorm. College campus. Warm and a Friday night. Young adults experiencing college life. Fun to see.

Rats run by entrance.

great people

Place was pretty lit ngl, got tossed with the boys on the daily ripping heaters and fat doinks 24/7 gets a 10/10 for me

The private bathroom isn’t worth the extra money. It’s just letts/Anderson for extra

Great dorm these lovely women pi beta phi sorority keep up the good job

Small and filthy dorm

Ceiling falling apart. Sweating pipes in closets caused water damage to personal belongings. Floors sticky. Wall paneling shoddy, dirty. Pictures of rooms are deceiving: rooms entirely too small to live in for more than a couple of days. Everything, including bathrooms outdated. Air conditioning went down for a night in 95 degree weather; not necessarily their fault but not NOT their fault. I cannot stress enough how badly you need to avoid living here.

At least it is quiet in Mitchell Hall.

Needs an update! !!!

It's been two weeks and I have no complaints.

AC Broke

Convenient location, you could have your own room, and have own laundry but the price is $$$$

Love this dorm
