Great fish and chips. Purchased a family pack and walked down the 100m to enjoy watching rowing at the river. Great service, very helpful and friendly.

Called for some takeout and food was great. Much better than getting it from the fast food places in town. There was a bit of a wait but we were told there would be, being a busy time of year. Food arrived fresh, hot and was yummy. Will order from again. Thanks guys :)

Exactly what we were after; crisp and tasty calamari, battered fish, chips and crisp juicy pineapple fritters. A short stroll to the river for a glorious spot to enjoy lunch. Would recommend. Service was fast.

For those who were born in the 1980s, you all know how the old classic fish and chips is hard to find. The chips alone from here are fantastic. This place is the first time I've eaten chips and they took me back to the old days in the mid 1980s when chips were real and tasted great.

The workers are typical of a shop of this type, they are not going to kiss your feet when you come in and spend $20, but you will eventually get your food.

Absolutely delicious food. Ordered a triple C pack. Wow. Huge portions. Calamari was some of the best I've ever had. So tender and lovely flavour in the crumb.
Chips were fresh, crispy and well salted. The women who served me was friendly and kind. Will definitely be back again!!

The small town "rude and stressed" vibe is an embarrassment. If the owners or staff don't want to be there on a public holiday or busy period, don't open.

This town (20 years ago) was filled with friendly, hard-working small business owners who treated people well, generating return business year after year.

Add long wait times and missing items from the order without an apology (just a hateful glare on return to pick it up), and a trip to KFC starts to feel like a better option.

Otherwise, food is cheap, fresh and tasty preventing a 1 star rating.

At first I wasn't too keen to go in but my son wanted fish & chips. So we ordered a battered fish pack and I got a burger with the lot.
It turned out to be one of the best fish we've had. So flaky and full of flavour. My burger was juicy as. For that price, it was an absolute bargain. Will definitely go back.
