Came by on a recommendation from a local friend and was not disappointed!
Fish was fantastic and not greasy, batter light and crispy... Portion are great size and very reasonable price. Fries were great, wished for more British style, but still satisfying!
View is spectacular, especially around sunset, and service was so very friendly.
Only small nag is packaged tartar.. would like a homemade sauce option.

We ordered fish and chips along with onion rings. The fish was delicious, but the fries were too soggy and black, and the onion rings was also too soggy. However, the staff were very accomodating.
Outstanding fish and chips and a magnificent view. It’s cash only so remember to bring some $ with you. Lovely, friendly staff. Be prepared to wait for a table at the busiest of times - but the wait it worth it.
If you’re looking for some really good fish and chips, this is the place! The batter is light and crispy, fish is tender and generous portions, great variety and value. The staff are very friendly, quick and helpful and attentive. The views are pretty good too!
Lovely place with lovely atmosphere. You can enjoy some fish n chips with a great ocean view. Only downside is they only take cash and no cards are available. If you plan to go there, ensure you have cash in hand.
I am not a fish eater, but I was told I HAD to try the fish and chips and dressing. O.M.G 😳 this was amazing. Highly recommend!!

Excellent fish and chips. Nice and fresh fish. Beautiful view of the water and across to Bell Island. Friendly staff. Cash only, so make sure to grab some cash on the way. There is an ATM there if needed. Worth the drive. One the best fish and chips places around St. John's. Recommended.
Wonderful people and wonderful food. Very helpful in sharing knowledge about the place, food and history as well. I recommend everybody to stop and grab a bite. Gord is an employee I would steal to my business. Fantastic guy
CASH ONLY but they have an atm/cash machine in the restaurant! This is great restaurant. Our Fish and chips and poutine were delicious! Birch beer was a nice treat!
It’s a nice little spot with a very beautiful bay view from the porch. Ordered hot wings and fish & chips. Everything was made fresh from scratch. Loved every item including their homemade sauce for the wings. Fish portion was big enough unlike other places. Prices seemed reasonable starting from $9.99 - $13.99 I believe.
They don’t accept cards but have an atm inside so you can cash out. The lady who served us was very sweet. Recommend this place if you’re driving around Portugal cove-st philips. Won’t be disappointed 🥰🥰

Excellent spot for fish and chips. We had the two piece with fries dressing and gravy and was very happy. The staff was very relaxed and helpful, and the price point was cheap for the quality of the food. As you would expect from a place right on the ocean the view was wonderful (even if it was the middle of winter).
Excellent fish and chips. Very fresh fish and a very light batter. The view is great and the place is clean and seems to be recently renovated. Had great friendly service. It was worth the drive for the food and the scenery!
I'm not a huge fan of fish and chips in general, but I've taken it upon my self to try as many fish and chips places around St. John's as possible to see if I can find one that I like. This is by FAR the best I've had. The fries are good, but the fish is tops. The batter is so crispy and almost has the texture of a cheese puff. The fish is incredibly tender and soft. And the location is incredible too.
