Top Vista points in Hvar, Croatia

Most amazing views. Drive up a little hairy in places and wouldn’t have wanted to do this as ‘peak’ sunset time.

Only negative was the rubbish that previous visitors had left up there.

Absolutely stunning view, you can see the entire town and bay, as well as the other coasts of the island. Easily accessible on a scooter, and well worth a hike if you have no wheels.

Challenging hike in the sun, would recommend to do this in the evening at around 5pm or early in the morning. Well signposted along the way. Great views around the grounds.
The fortress was closed.

Only go for the hike and the view, not the fortress.
The inside of the fortress was closed to visitors. Walking around the outside gives a great view and there are some benches to relax.

There were a good amount of people going up on scooters.

We hiked and it was a pretty good hike. We walked back on the road thinking it would be easier even though it's longer. It's not worth it, take the trail down.

We hiked up and were sad as the fort was not open (my bad, I think i confused it with the other fort). It was a phenomenal view, but I think I would have been happier taking a taxi up at sunset.

40min walk from town, the views are much better than from the fortress, and it's free!

One of the best views of Hvar town and Pakleni islands. Easy one hour hike from the town center. Just follow normal road. I recommend you to go for a sunset and bring some water to stay hydrated.

Getting here was a bit scary due to the one lane road and tight turns for about a kilometer or two. The view was stunning. We went at sunset and got to watch the sun go down as the sky lit up in a pink shade.

Amazing view of Hvar town and Pakleni islands, can be hiked or driven. Not much of the original fort remaining. Road is very narrow and twisty, but good surface, take care.

Incredibly beautiful views at the top!!! A little hard to find the start of the hiking trail, but follow where you see the entrance on google maps and you will see it marked by a red circle immediately by the main road on the right. Not many people hike this as it is steep and it gets so hot here in summer. We did it and it was a workout, but it was WORTH it. You will love it! Wear comfortable shoes, it is possible in sandals too (I did it 😅) you will just have to be careful not to slip. If you’re looking to see Napoleon fortress, it’s nothing spectacular itself and it is also closed off to the public as it is now used as an astronomical base.

Just an amazing spot for a sunrise hike. It’s a quite rocky route, but we got there slowly in around 40 mins.
The views are so so gorgeous, the hike up is definitely worth it!

Great views from the top. Good hike through the trees from the main road.
