I can’t say enough good things about this spa! It’s impeccably clean and so well-organized, which immediately puts you at ease the moment you walk in. But what truly sets it apart is the incredible team who works here. The staff are warm, always smiling, attentive, and genuinely make you feel cared for. They provide comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. It’s a very tranquil place where you can truly unwind. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a top-notch yet not uptight spa experience! Great job everyone, see you tomorrow!!!
I’ve been going at least weekly with their new membership pass. Overall, it is a lovely experience. This location is smaller than Flatiron but I personally enjoy the more intimate setting. I took stars off for a few reasons: 1. The cleanliness of their facilities has varied. There are times I go in and it feels like a 5 star experience. There are other times that it smells strongly of mildew, a lot of hair in the showers and the steam sauna is often not working (which is a bummer when there are only 3 saunas). 2. I have had a lot of technical problems with booking through their website. It will charge me multiple times and when I try to call or text their front desk/help line, I get hung up on or no response. This makes it really hard to reliably use my membership, it feels like I have to go the extra mile to make it work. While the front desk staff is often not the nicest, the cafe staff is absolutely wonderful.

Overall, Flatiron has a more reliable experience but this location is not bad. I just wish the customer service at the front desk was a bit better.
I like this one more than the Flatiron one, this is smaller cozier, better set up to really relax and do a proper cold plunge/sauna routine.

Smaller baths, could be a little less crowded after six. But it was still okay. Before 6 on a workday, it was perfect.
Came here for a massage and to use the spa area too. The massage was great and they really know what they are doing. A little more expensive than I would like for a massage but it at least includes access to the other amenities. The place has three small pools. One cold at 50 f and the other two hotter wt 94f and the jacuzzi at around 107f. There’s also three saunas. It’s a small place so I’m sure it can get pretty crowded but I went on a Tuesday morning and it was relatively empty. Staff is super nice and helpful. Give them a try!
My husband and I have been loyal patrons of both Bathhouse locations – Williamsburg and Flatiron – for years, visiting at least twice a week. Bathhouse offers an unparalleled wellness experience that goes far beyond your typical spa visit. One of the standout offerings is the Aufguss ritual, a transformative sauna experience included at no extra charge. This ritual happens daily according to a schedule, and it’s something truly special you won’t want to miss.

The Aufguss is a 10-15 minute sensory experience, where essential oils are expertly infused into the sauna, while a Sauna Master skillfully uses towel-waving techniques to intensify the heat and create an immersive atmosphere. Each session feels like a journey of relaxation and renewal. We’ve had the pleasure of experiencing hundreds of Aufguss sessions led by various Sauna Masters, each bringing their own unique style and energy. However, we must give special recognition to Sauna Master Alonso. His Aufguss performances are nothing short of mesmerizing – the perfect balance of intensity, aroma, and atmosphere. If you truly want to elevate your Bathhouse experience, attending one of Alonso’s Aufguss sessions is a must.

Beyond the Aufguss, what truly makes Bathhouse exceptional is the staff. From the wellness team to the restaurant staff, everyone is warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Whether it’s making sure you’re comfortable or offering suggestions on how to get the most out of your visit, they go above and beyond. While the recent menu changes at the restaurant are unfortunate (the skewers and the crispy smashed potatoes were to die for!), the service remains impeccable. The restaurant team is always attentive, and they do their best to ensure a pleasant dining experience.

In short, if you’re looking for a unique and restorative wellness experience, Bathhouse is the place to be. The Aufguss, the wonderful staff, and the overall atmosphere make it an experience we can’t recommend highly enough.
My boyfriend and I went here and had an amazing time. I did a lot of research before choosing this location for a spa day and it did not disappoint. While this location is smaller it does offer a more chill vibe. You can take advantage of the amenities before and/or after your treatment and there’s no time limit. They also have a cute restaurant where we got lunch (the food was also delicious) and then we were able to go back to the baths and relax some more. The locker rooms are also fully stocked with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and some other personal items. Highly recommend Bathhouse. You also get your moneys worth and can truly have a relaxation day.

🌟 Ultimate Relaxation at Bathhouse Williamsburg 🌟

If you're looking for a true escape from the hustle and bustle of NYC, look no further than Bathhouse Williamsburg. This hidden gem, tucked away in a beautifully restored 1930s soda factory, offers a luxurious wellness experience that perfectly blends historic charm with modern indulgence.

🛁 Thermal Pools & Starlight Steam Room: The thermal pools are an absolute must-try—each one designed to invigorate and relax. The cold plunge pool? Pure refreshment! And don’t miss the starlight steam room—it feels like stepping into another world.

💆‍♀️ Sensory Deprivation Tank: This was a first for me, and WOW—it’s a game-changer. If you need to completely disconnect, this is your sanctuary.

🍽️ Delectable Dining: After your spa session, treat yourself to some of the finest dishes Brooklyn has to offer. The hunter’s stew and bone broth are both comforting and packed with flavor. Dining here in a cozy robe? Perfection.

The attention to detail, from the design of the space to the curated menu, makes Bathhouse Williamsburg a standout in the NYC wellness scene. Whether you're spending the day with a loved one or treating yourself, you'll leave feeling recharged and rejuvenated.

Bathhouse Williamsburg is a solid choice for unwinding after a stressful week in NYC. The staff are helpful and guide you through everything you need to know.

The facilities include both wet and dry saunas, a cold plunge, heated pool, chill pool, and a heated sitting area. They also offer classes in the sauna, with essential oils and wavy music.

Overall, it's a good spot to relax and recharge.

I’m writing this from Australia, just over 9 years since I left Brooklyn. I was casually looking through Google Maps and was so happy to see this place is still up and rocking… this remains the best gym I’ve ever been to in my life and I’ve got many great memories of my time here! I’ve been to a ton of different gyms since moving back “home” to Australia but have never found a gem like Slope Fitness.

I miss this gym so much! Great size, staff and atmosphere. Ahh the hours I spent here were well worth it. Join and you’ll see what I mean!

So happy to hear it’s still going strong after all this time:)

I never write online reviews, but I felt compelled to do so for Slope Fitness. This is the best gym I have ever been a member of. It is extremely clean, has just about all the equipment one would need, never feels too crowded, has a nice and respectful clientele where everyone wipes down equipment, and an excellent and friendly staff.

Keep up the great work, and I look forward to being a member for many more years.

This gym is always perfectly clean and never too crowded. The staff is friendly and the other gymgoers are diligent about cleaning equipment after using. It has all the equipment you need without being overwhelming or unwelcoming. Definitely recommend!

My first time at this bathhouse. Staff was friendly. The sauna and the pool was cool. Saturdays are crowded but I'll try to go on a Friday or Sunday. It's very inexpensive. They only take cash an zelle. Illbe back agin every month

They told me over the phone they’d be showing the superbowl on their tv. I get there and they say don’t have cable or anyway to show it. Wasted my night.

Very weird place And smells awful. I couldn’t breathe inside. They use too much chemicals.
Lady at reception told my friend and I we would have to pay CASH only and it would be $120 for two people for only five hours. I
I was a little taken back by the price and it being cash only. She didn’t even offer Venmo/zelle option to us…
This place is cute and cozy but definitely not worth $120 even for two people

I recently joined Slope Fitness a month ago. It’s a good gym. Spotlessly clean (like perfectly, above and beyond clean) and never too crowded. It has all necessary equipment for lifting, cardio, foam rolling, etc. My only hope is that one day they get a hip thrust machine. I truly have no complaints and I enjoy working out here, whereas at other gyms I have felt stressed by crowds.

I am writing a review to a place I’ve never visited. When I called to get more information regarding pricing as the website is under developed, the receptionist answered the phone by telling me she already had three people on hold and to hurry up. She hung up after my second question just hung up the phone. They could never have my money with her working at the front . Anyone writing a good review must know the owners personally.

" Do not book this spa". I booked Groupon and than called this Spa for an appointment. The lady who picked up the phone was horrible, rude and when I asked her what does Groupon voucher includes, she said " nothing"...and she had really bad attitude. If you wanna book an appointment for a massage n relax...this will be the worst place to start with....they should change their receptionist or the lady who takes appointments for them. I will definitely not recommend this place.

cool place! I will definitely come here again! The woman at the front desk was very kind and attentive! doesn't look good from the outside. but it's good to relax inside. recommend this place.
I have been with the gym fairly recently and I am thoroughly enjoying it after having been with NYSC and Equinox. I like to support independent businesses and this family owned gym is exceptional. Highly recommend. Great personal touches, extremely clean and sanitized regularly. The equipment is very well maintained and updated. I have a trainer and have been through three sessions so far and In impressed with the quality and professionalism.

I've been going to this gym for around 5 years and have had a wonderful experience. Even before Covid, the gym was incredibly clean. The owner clearly puts member health / safety as their number one priority because the steps they have taken to ensure cleanliness are incredible.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful and the equipment is kept in great shape. In terms of facilities, the gym has everything you need. I'm very happy with Slope Fitness and happily chose it over other local options.

I really love this place... It's like a great "bad habit". LoL
Every 6months or so my husband & I go and enjoy half a day here!
There are plenty of pros & a few cons. And to each their own, but in case it helps, here are my general thoughts, In brief:

PRO: the food is unreal!! You haven't eaten bread until you try this "lavash" (this one is fluffy & scrumptious--filled w delight)
PRO: the Healthy (nourishing is maybe a better word) food & drinks are served in VERY generous --shareable-- portions (the salads & perogis are fresh and flavorful)
PRO: stay as long as you like, bring games, relax
PRO: sauna options--the place is not "huge"--but it's Brooklyn
CON: each time I've come with a groupon--there was a challenge to Its validity/use/dates, etc (but just stick with it...it's worth it) PLUS know you will need to pay gratuity ($16 each)
CON: Price ($45 to enter) + food + tips (adds up), but worth the treat now & again
CON: décor is very dated... One review I read said " sauna-meets-my-russian-grandmas-livingroom"... #accurate, but once again, worth it, and it may seem a bit "worn" (I.e. lockers need an update...bits of rust marks noticeable...not the end of the world, but still) BUT I've never found it dirty
PRO: some outside space for "open/ fresh air"-->" valuable" in the busy city
CON: neighborhood is a bit run down (again, just try not to think about it--focus on the relaxation
CON: I'm never sure exactly when the chef comes (but again...worth the wait!!)
PRO: Access to massage services! I've found it oddly frustrating that many massage places in The city (esp Manhattan) don't have a place to shower after...which (esp if you want to use public transport) makes for a very oily trekk home--very "unrelaxing" if you ask me... Also after a massage-- you can easily go back to relaxing at the sauna...all in all: a great environment for a massage!
Pro: Banya Kitty!!! Enough said!

Tip: Come early, when they first open...fewer people!! Feels like it's your own space!
