We booked a condo to stay within the Sundial Lodge. When we arrived to our room, there was condo construction taking place across the hallway which had an enormous acetone smell, presumed from the flooring glue, that lingered the hallways and rooms. This was not expected but when discussed with the front desk staff, they were clueless and less than helpful. The front desk staff said they had nothing to do and had no suggestions of whom to escalate this to to obtain some support. If this place offers hotel accommodations or other stay opportunities like VRBO/Airbnb, I would not recommend. There are PLENTY of places to stay close by, this would not be on my top 30 recommendations at all. And not updated like other places especially for the nightly cost. The disheartening customer service was the icing on the cake. Parking was less than acceptable with a very small area. Not worth the hassle.

Service was awesome. Amenities were nice. Great location right by Canyons.

The parking garage is absolutely tiny. What....5'8"?? Cmon. I had to park my 90k truck a 10 minute walk away at the Silverado resort. Silverado Resort was ok with it being there. They said there was still a chance of it getting towed!!! Seriously??!! Absolutely ridiculous. The hotel staff were like. .. idk....nonexistent. Could care less about everything and anything. Stayed 3 nights and not once did house keeping clean or bring towels. I really hate writing bad reviews I do. But the parking situation needs to be made clear before reserving. I had a bunch of expensive archery gear I had to lug back and forth or risk leaving in the truck! Risk of it being towed or broken into!!

A beautiful hotel located up within many other resorts and hotels. Rooms were clean and spacious. Parking was a bit confusing in the garage. There are several buildings and each one has their own elevator. There is also more than one room behind most doors. The staff was not particularly friendly and when the electricity went out in our building the night we stayed, they seemed unimpressed about the inconvenience, stating that it was because it had rained that day. The electricity went out in the middle of a movie we were watching and came back on two or three hours later after we had fallen asleep. The next morning, housekeeping came to our door 3 different times to see if we had checked out, even though it was still well before check out time.

Bed was hard as a rock & being a hotel you would think they would have some kind of black out blinds so someone on vacation could sleep in. Nope light was so bright had to wake up bright and early!

It was our wedding night, and we were obviously still in our wedding dress and suits. We were booked into the wrong room, and the Carl (i think that was his name) at the front desk made no attempt to fix it. He was the rudest hotel service I have ever met in my life and was way more interested in the youtube videos he was watching LOUDLY (was watching videos about knives) while we were in the front lobby. Truly, if I were a manager and I saw how he treated people, Id fire him in a heartbeat. We left the hotel after 2.5 hours of trying to work things through and went to a Best Western down the road which had considerably better service.
This man was working June 10th when we got there at 730.

The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you would need. Deducting two stars because the interaction I had with the concierge was terrible. I made my reservation on the same day as my stay and when I approached the desk the man rudely explained to me that they don’t take same day reservations after 5, but he will get me in but the room but if might not be clean because the last person just checked out(eewww), but he’ll still give me the key……..? It’s not my fault that I was able to make a reservation and there was no information stating that same day reservations after 5 are not accepted. That seems like a technical issue rather than a guest issue. If a reservation was accepted, why does that make me subject to poor treatment? The room did end up being clean (very low occupancy last night judging by the parking lot and lack of lights through the building) but why was that comment necessary? It really started off the experience on a bad foot.

Great location and the rooms were very clean and spacious. We were staying in the summer so can't speak to winter time, but it was great proximity to Park City, the pool was very nice, and the gondola ride was a lot of fun! O believe it was Vanessa at the front desk who was really sweet and helpful the whole time.

Staying here was an overall great experience. Darrell was easy to communicate with and flexible with our budget. As far as location goes, you couldn't ask for much better. The views of Park City are incredible anytime of day and it's still only a 5 minute drive into Main Street. There are multiple hiking trails right out your door. We even spotted a moose on an early morning hike. The rooms are spacious, kitchen is stocked well enough to cook for the family, and all appliances/utilities are in great working order. Only complaint we had is we wished there were more towels and extra sheets. Overall great experience and would recommend to friends and family.

Nice rental... some highs and lows.

THE AREA-
Most importantly, the view and location are fantastic. Close access by quick drive to all the fun on Main Street in Park City, the views from Guardsman Pass, and more trails than anyone can consume on one vacation. This particular house is very short walk away from the 23 mile long Mid-Mountain trail which weaves from the Deer Valley all the way down into the Park City Mountain system, as well as the shorter Deer Valley trail and challenging Boulder summit trail. Not enough could be said about how magnificent the area is for adventure, and Larkspur is right in they middle of it all.
THE HOUSE-
The house itself leaves a bit to be desired. It seems as though the owners aren’t paying much attention to replacement of old and worn down things around the house. Sorry to be very specific, but the owners can show their mettle by correcting these items for upcoming guests...
-The living room couches are very very poor. Most cushions are completely collapsed, very uncomfortable. Throw pillows haven’t been cleaned... maybe ever. It’s particularly sad with such a pretty gas fireplace that just begs to be enjoyed.
-The washer and dryer should have long since been upgraded. The washer did not get the clothes clean and drying clothes takes three to four cycles at times. Pretty frustrating to have to pay this much attention to washing/drying clothes on vacation. This problem is exasperated considerably when you find out that there are no extra towels in the house. Only the minimum for each sink and shower, so we had to wash towels almost daily to compensate.
-Dishwasher soap dispenser doesn’t close, so there is a good chance that all the soap rinses out before the cycle actually starts to clean the dishes.
- Some bathrooms don’t have locking doors (this was an interesting one, still scratching my head).
I did give 4 stars instead of 3. I think the house and deserves 3-1/2 stars at this point. All of these items could be remedied by the owners very simply and at reasonable expense... Time will tell what they are made of. For now, the owners don’t seem to be making the investments that they need to make to guarantee that this a 5 star location.
SIDE NOTE-
-It’s unfortunate and cannot be changed, but the kitchen is extremely small. Just a note for those of us who like to cook... if you plan on cooking this might not be the house for you.

Beautiful place

Stayed at a home in this community, great views. The house was spacious and included in there price was shuttle to park city town and PC resort and deer valley resorts, the ride down by road is magical at night, almost christmassy. And this was in March!
This home also is a block and a few steps away from the midmountain slope on deer valley mountain...
