ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT EFFICIENT CARE!
Currently staying here after being transferred from another hospital. I arrived Monday late at night, Tuesday and Wednesday during the day I continually had doses of my medications be given an hour-2hours late, never saw my nurse unless I was pressing the call button and even then it would take 30 mins to an hour for her to even show. Wednesday I also had 2 failed ivs and went hours without an iv and missed entire doses of the medication I should’ve been receiving. I was told Thursday I could go home at 10am by my surgeon, then at 6pm I was told I had to wait on an ultrasound being read. I said I would just sign an AMA and then at 8pm was told some bogus story that the hospitalist wanted me to stay overnight to see how I was with the oral medication. Now, I had not received any medication at all since 12pm. I did not receive any oral medication until around 10:40pm. 10+ hours without any treatment. My ultrasound is for a completely unrelated issue as to why I am at the hospital but now this morning I am being told by the hospitalist that the only reason I was kept last night and only reason I’m being kept today is because the radiologist has still not read my ultrasound results (Clearly I was lied to last night.) They said maybe he’ll read them by noon. (The ultrasound was finished around 4pm yesterday)

Here for a hockey tournament. I tore my hamstring.. great insurance coverage. Wait time was 3 hours, never even got to see a doctor. Finally just asked for some crutches and they fit me up with a splint and crutches. Wonderful, nice staff! Except for an ER manager* who seemed all business and not nice. Wait times are worse than Canada though. Don’t recommend this hospital if you are visiting nashville.

My mother-in-law was admitted for the first time to this hospital, and while it was a difficult time for our family, it was made sightly easier by the friendlessness of every single person we came in contact with, from valet, nurses, sitters, and even the physicians. We were so impressed with how kind everyone treated us, and we are very grateful and thankful for that. We were super impressed. They took great care of all of us!

Was transported here by ambulance from out of state. Once I arrived it was non stop care and professionalism from every Dr, tech, lab staff, nurse and associate. Being 60 yrs old, I am truly impressed and awed the my entire encounter. The Best Ever. Wish that I didn't live so far away..

My FIL was here for almost 4 weeks post cardiac surgery! I did not encounter one staff member in any capacity that was not nice, professional, helpful and they all treated him and us like we mattered! Very very rare in healthcare this day in time! I was very well pleased with his entire stay from check-in the day of surgery to discharge 4 weeks later!

The doctors, nurses and staff are absolutely amazing. These people treated my grandmother so professionally in her final days. They were such a big help to us. Thank you so much, Tristar Centennial and Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute.

We have been at the TriStar Centennial Medical Center for the last day or so and I could not be more impressed. The facilities, the staff, the care, are all exemplary. In particular, Michelle, who has been our nurse on the 12th floor has been a true gift to our family with the wonderful care she's providing to our loved one. Thank you for everything.

I have been a patient at Centennial quite often in the last 20 years and I will continue to be one. Their ER can be very slow and getting admitted via their ER is longer than it should be which is very frustrating considering how much pain I am in. I keep checking with the nurses and reminding them how long I have been waiting and can’t they help hurry this up.
After admission either through the ER or a scheduled admission then the staff can be touch and go as far as care is concerned. Often I will get a nurse that is very good and very knowledgeable and understanding. More often than not I will always get one that I have had to ask to talk to the manager and request to not have that particular nurse be my nurse. I hate having to do that but it is necessary considering how I am treated. The nursing shortage is a real issue as in each visit I have always had more than one nurse who is a contractor nurse!! I have found that the contracted nurse is generally very pleasant, knowledgeable and quicker to tend to my needs. For the most part the care I get is adequate enough to get me treated quickly to make my stay as short and successful as possible

A very disrespectful place throwing baseless accusations at me and my family while my mother was in the hospital unresponsive very unprofessional place no integrity in the staff

This hospital is one of the best hospital's I've been to in my 40 yrs on this planet . The staff is awesome , the docs rock.. and the nurses rule
