My favourite museum!! It’s a small museum but we actually spent 2+ hours here! As a microbiologist I find the museum very intriguing with lots of interactive panels and explanatory videos. There was a section where you get to smell food that has been left for years (ew, but really cool). Also really loved the microorganism stamps along the way.

photo is kind of a spoiler :^) I loved it! even just looking at this wall only is so worth it, all the amazing colours and textures to see up close; lots of info, on different 'difficulty levels' makes kid/adult/anybody-friendly~ highly recommend (◍•ᴗ•◍)

Fun and informative museum.

What I enjoyed most about the museum was that youre able to play with the microscope, smell the rotting food, interactive booths. Definitely a good learning experience especially for the young ones.

Fantastic! The exhibits were very well put together and displayed. The staff were great too! Had a really long conversation with a woman who worked in the lab, not about microbiology but about politics. Very friendly, very informative and very fun! Really good value too. Highly recommend!
Although not as big, had exceptional and fascinating displays. Some were interactive with controls for the cameras or microphone. The place was clean and crisp, with the displays being quite well positioned and laid out to navigate. There were a few people there when we were there but it didn't feel crowded or choked at any one spot. Great place for kids, and great spot for tourists fascinated with microbiology or even biology in general.

We stumbled across this museum while searching for different science museums to explorer and we were not disappointed at all. Part of the ARTIS zoo and other attractions. If you want to learn the most, plan to be here for at least a couple of hours. We ended up spending 3 hours here and still did not read every placard.

The staff were extremely nice and willing to answer any questions you may have. This is such a great museum to learn about many of the different microbes that exist in our world.

We arrived early and nearly had the museum entirely to ourselves, which was great to be able to take of time to explore. If you are on the fence about going, you should take the time and explore the world that we can’t see with the naked eye.

Incredible, very unique experience that I never had at another museum. The blend of science and technology very much adds to the guest experience, and doesn't feel tacky. I would work here if I could.

Amazing place to learn about microbes, bacteria, and microorganisms.

Cutting edge technology and interactive installation s. Most of the exhibits have live cultures under a microscope.

They also run interactive lectures.

Kid friendly.

Must see, especially if you are interested in this topic.
