Weekday visit and had the place to myself. A small collection of vehicles and transport equipment. Reasonable entry fee. It was winter so beware there is little/no heating - not a problem but wear a coat
The Transport Museum is an interesting place to visit if you're in Bratislava. The museum has a great collection of different types of transport. Here you can see vintage cars, bicycles, motorcycles, and trains. The classic cars , specifically, are so beautiful and well preserved. The entry fee for adults is8€, and for students 4€. This museum is only about 20 min walk distance from the old town centre. It's a great museum to visit.
Wonderful place. especially to get acquainted with the country's transport history. We saw many different types of transport and even cars that were not produced. This museum has many interactive things. I think I liked the town in the lobby where the train goes the most. If you will be in Bratislava, definitely stop by for a few hours to admire it.
This is a hidden gem if you like historic transport. The current exhibition about Czechoslovak shipping is really interesting. The day we were there we were lucky to have Stan as our guide. His level of knowledge was excellent and he was really nice into the bargain.

Amazing place, it is great home to many historical engines as well as wagons and other railway related machinery. It is great that there's such interest in preserving old steam engines for the next generation. I highly recommend it.
Many cool trains, possible to see inside and look into the history. But there are trains that should be maintained as the condition of them is not good. We saw the construction workers there, so maybe the condition of some trains will be improved soon.

Reasonable way to spend an hour or two. The museum is fairly small but has a good number of exhibits. The only watch is to be aware the staff here are quite rude.
One of the best museums we have ever visited. It completely blew us away with the amount of vehicles and information on show. Very reasonable admission price, you walk around at your own pace and spend as long as you want looking at everything. Some parts were outdoors but mostly indoors in a beautiful old railway building. Young and Old will enjoy this museum. Fantastic
We visited in February. The actual indoor part of the museum is not open to public until April. There was no entry fee to the outdoor exhibits. There are lots of different types of trains, you can walk on parts of the old tracks and get up close to trains. We enjoyed every bit of the exhibition.
A must visit museum in Bratislava, a lot of real vehicles on display, entry fee is quite cheap for students (I believe it was 3 euro). We came late in the afternoon and did not see all of what it has to offer, keep in mind there are more than 1 warehouse full of exhibits!
Very entertaining museum close to the main train station. Nice array of motorbikes, cars, vans. Very interesting railroad and river marine exhibition. Children can have their photo taken in a Pink Fiat 126
Definitely must see, if you are keen on transport! The history of Slovak and Czech motorisation: Tatra, Skoda and many others. On every first Sunday entrance is free, you only need to pay for photographing - 1 EUR.
Quite place, should visit in morning hrs. Google map not showing correct way ..
Be aware that reaching it by bus+foot from Bratislava centre is an adventure by itself: google map will route you through paths which requires crossing railways. So try to find the best and safer route on a map by yourself (hint: reach the railway crossing on Travna Ulica, and then right to Pastierska Ulica)
One of my favorite places in Bratislava, unique outdoor museum of trains and all train related infrastructure, nice and quiet. You can just walk around and fantasize how it must had been in hey days of those huge things.
