I highly recommend Tribe Strength. Its a fun relaxed atmosphere but at the same time you get pushed to your goals in a 'safe place no judgement' environment. I look forward to going to a class and although fun and friendly, I have never worked so hard at the gym. The mix of strength training and conditioning is great and there are different membership options to suit different people. You feel like your part of something. 👍
The Tribe is full of amazing, kind and fun people. The classes make life easy with everything organised for you every day. The coaches ride the line between pushing you to be better while still supporting you. The space is big, equipment is good and if you're extra lucky sometimes you get to pat a dog. But the best parts are probably the coffees after class, 12am runs around Bibra Lake, drinks on a Saturday or putting the pieces back together after the Christmas party. Just the little things that a strong community do together. 👌
Fantastic boutique gym in Bibra Lake. Lovely inviting space that is well equipped & is kid friendly. Very knowledgeable, friendly & inspiring coaches & owners. Highly recommend it for both beginners & those looking to train at a high levels.
I wanted a new change in scenery from regular commercial gyms, so some close friends recommended the Tribe! Joining has been the best investment I have ever made in my health and overall well-being.

The Tribe is not just a gym, it's a community. The coaches and members have crafted a unique space that fosters a strong sense of belonging. The classes, meticulously organized and structured, are a testament to the expertise of Josh and Chelsea. Their wealth of knowledge caters to a diverse range of fitness levels, from beginners to those seeking a challenge. The smaller class sizes ensure that everyone is not just a face in the crowd, but a valued individual. Regular check-ins further underscore the commitment to your personal goals, making you feel supported and valued on your fitness journey.

Overall, it is an excellent gym for anyone, regardless of your experience. There are no grounds for disappointment. I couldn't recommend it enough! Keep up the great work, guys!
I recently joined a gym that has completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I felt like they understood my journey and limitations without any judgment. The staff here is incredibly supportive and caring, always ready to offer guidance tailored to my specific needs. Whether it's adjusting workouts to accommodate my limitations or providing encouragement when I need it most, they're there every step of the way. It's truly a safe and empowering environment where I feel supported in my fitness journey. I couldn't recommend it more highly!
I have only been with Tribe for a few short months, but I can honestly say that the improvements in not just my physical, but my mental endurance, has soared.

The knowledge, time and support that is put into each session, is pivotal when you are striving to reach goals and I can say that the coaches at Tribe, go above and beyond to meet that.

Finally, the community within this gym is epic! There is never a time that you feel unsupported!

I couldn’t recommend this place more if I tried! So glad I joined.
When I first started at The Tribe 7 months ago I never would’ve expected to love it as much as I do. The coaches are amazing and care about every single member and what they want to achieve. They dedicate time to set goals and push for you to achieve them. Coming from an ex-CrossFit background, there’s a great range in the variety of movements and an option for everyone. All in all, the warmest and most positive gym I’ve ever experienced!!
I started at the Tribe in May 2023 and I haven't regretted a minute of it. From the moment I first stepped into the gym I was made to feel welcome by Josh & Chelsea. The small classes allow the coaches to motivate and ensure your technique is correct. If you're looking for a gym with lots of laughs and good music then this is the place for you.

I LOVE this gym. Mel and the gang are so incredibly welcoming, they instantly make you feel part of the team. The atmosphere is great and the athletes are amazing. The Rates are super reasonable too which is the cherry on top. There's a coffee shop attached to the gym which serves delicious coffee in the mornings and a beautiful physio&pilates practice upstairs. There's also an ice bath and sauna for your post training needs.

I've trained in a lot of gyms and this one is right up there with my all time favourites. Don't miss the opportunity to train here!

I had been struggling to commit to the gym/ routine - until I found Athlete X.
When I joined the first thing that I felt was a real strong sense of community, the coaches and the members were so friendly and welcoming, instantly made me feel like I belonged here.
The training is all coach lead and programmed. The workouts are fun and progressive.
All the coaches are engaging, highly experienced and extremely friendly. I’ve been really happy with my progress in the gym thanks to the coaching at Athlete X.
I’ve also met some really wonderful people here.

An unpretentious and welcoming space, with great coaches and a highly considered program. Whether you are learning how to gym or have been at it for years, this is the place to be. All you have to do is get to the door, and they handle the rest!

The moment I arrived at Athlete X I was greeted with smiles and I already felt like I belonged there. Trainers and gym goers alike were extremely welcoming and friendly. The programming for each class is clearly well prepared and there are always many scalable options for each exercise, making the workouts more inclusive. The coaching staff are second to none and are always carefully watching to ensure safe lifting and good techniques are being used to prevent injuries.

Thank you Athlete x - for the community you've built and the service you provide

We got wind of this gym through word of mouth. Having previously been at a CrossFit gym for nearly 10 years, we decided it was time for a change and haven’t looked back. We were made welcomed straight off, the coaching staff are friendly and approachable. The gym caters for all levels of fitness and experience. You’re never too young or old to learn new skills or movements in a safe environment with no judgement. Highly recommend this gym, great people all round, including the members.

My husband and I made the move from our old CrossFit gym, where we had been for 10/6 years respectively. It was a difficult and daunting decision initially, however the team at Athlete X were very welcoming and we have felt like part of the family right from the beginning.
The programming, coaching, and knowledge of all the team is definitely a strength. Coaches take the time to get to know you and are always happy to help you adapt movements due to any injury or mobility issues. Training blocks focus on developing core strength and mobility for functional fitness based on cross-fit style movements, without the competitive nature that you have in many other gyms. You train at your level, and the community spirit means everyone’s achievements are celebrated. At 46 years old, I feel stronger and fitter than I ever have as a result of the programming and support I have received. Our move to Athlete X has been extremely positive and I could not recommend them highly enough.

I was invited to leave a review for a place in which I have called a second home over the past 6 years. If you’d asked me back then if i would recommend Athlete X to my family and friends it would have been an overwhelming yes. Today not so much. In short the premium price is not justified by the poor coaching and lack of competitive drive. If you are serious about fitness this isn’t the place for you.

With a change of primary owners comes a change of direction for this gym, and unfortunately what followed was a chain of poorly constructed business decisions which old and founding members like myself did not take lightly too, with a seemingly increasing desire to put profit above the members.

From increasing weekly rates to a premium $75, (the most in the area) which was off the back of a poorly thought out economical purchase of a Sauna. It forced members regardless of intention to use the sauna or not to pay the costs of the mistake by the business. Who plans to use a sauna in Summer? What followed was yet another “business decision” to let go the only male coach and the only coach with qualifications suited to CrossFit and functional fitness. Leaving the level of experience and quality of teaching severely lacking and under the responsibility amateur coaches who fail to demonstrate movements themselves. As a result of this attention is solely put on new members, and those wishing to uspkill technique are forced to look elsewhere as the coaches simply don’t have the experience necessary. The programming is also not difficult, catering for beginners which disincentivises members to improve and sets low standards.

It’s a place which preaches inclusiveness and “choose kind”. A motto which is decorated all over the walls and merchandise. Though the reality is that it’s an overwhelmingly woke environment with an abundance of clicky groups who have a distaste for any inconvenience to them.
With a number of seasoned members choosing more competitive, cheaper and friendly options nearby I would suggest doing the same.
