My wife and I are in town this week and we got this place as a recommendation from a friend. While the drinks and crowd were great, our server Adam really helped bring this place home for us (along with his wine recommendations). We only have another few days but will DEFINITELY be back!!
Always super fun, great location, great staff, Jade is especially lovely... we come here a lot and never had a bad time. Very good drinks, food is very solid as well, the mushroom pâté is my favorite, but you really come for the vibes...
Adam was a great waiter. He was so attentive & helpful with choosing drinks. I believe he is new and he knew the menu like the back of his hand. He also had great charisma & personality. The atmosphere was amazing. I will be back not only because of the vibe but because of how great Adam was!
We were given the warmest of welcomes by Jade who showed us to the best seats in the house. Our server Adam guided us on an exquisite journey of juicy and delicious wines with a steady hand and an infectious love for the craft. We truly could not have asked for better service. Would recommend
So much fun! The vibes, people and music were great! Only thing I will say is they should say that this place isn't a club. It's a bar that becomes a night club. The DJ should brush up on his music and needs to learn how to blend songs. I requested Stevie B Spring Love and he looked at me like he never heard of him.
Atmosphere was the best part of my dining experience here - felt like I was back in Paris again! That being said, the food is a bit overpriced and the portions were a bit too small. Would come back though for a special night craving french food.
I had an incredible time last night with friends, celebrating my birthday. We danced the entire time and loved the music 🎶 Cocktails were great too and the crowd was amazing. This is now my go to place for dancing 💃
Great place, nice people, and fun music. DJ played a good mix and kept the crowd on their feet all night! I will be back soon!
This is definitely a great place to be if you love 70’s and 80’s music. The Spanish bouncer is respectful, the bartender is very attentive and the DJ is good.
It was our first time going to a place like this !hands downn is the best for me and my wife super clean ,robs ,towesl ,locker attendant , bartender all surep attentive to a ditale and treatinkg you like a family
Great place, bartender Sasha is amazing! Very friendly super attentive and he remembers everyone’s drink! I don’t know how he does it! LED floors are so cool and the music is awesome, overall great place! We had a blast!
I have been coming to this place for the past 2 years and since day one I have always felt welcomed. The staff is friendly, polite and professional. The atmosphere is awesome with great music. The place is clean and very neat. I always have the best time when I come here so 5 stars all the way.
An old friend was visiting me in the city and I wanted a nice place to dance and happily found Retro club. Everything about it was nice from the reservations to the dancing experience. Good communication through email once you reserve, clean place, open on time, friendly atmosphere. I will go back.
Clean, fun and safe environment. As a person well within the lifestyle (17 years) and been to other clubs in the city I can honestly say this is the best place I’ve been to in the city.
The fact there is no single men and a very friendly and welcoming staff made me as a single woman feel very comfortable. The clientele are beautiful and very friendly. Definitely will be coming back.

I wasted my time coming to this club. If you need proof you shouldn't come to this club, check out the responses they've made to reviews. The most unprofessional things Ive ever read.
The website says "we never turn away a well dressed single girl", well I came in my Mugler, and because I didn't have a "reservation" or a "membership", I wasn't allowed in. They had tons of excuses even though their website says otherwise.
If you don't like thick girls, just say so. If you don't want brown girls, just say so. I don't want to be where I'm not wanted. The operations lady was absolutely lying through her teeth as to why I wasn't allowed in. If you're in the lifestyle, AVOID.

We are a married couple and have been to many swinger clubs in Europe, but we did not expect to find such a terrible service in New York. We paid $220 to get in and they gave us a tour of the club and told us the rules. When asked if they provide towels and disposable slippers, they answered that yes, all inclusive. When it was time to undress, it turned out that the towels would be delivered next week and there were no slippers at all (I remind you that the entrance costs $220). As it turned out, the person who conducted the tour of the club did not know at all what they have and what they do not have. According to our perception, the staff reacted rudely to our indignation but found two towels for us. Also a very strange sound solution - loud music on the dance floor and nearby other music from the speakers in the adjacent open room - as a result of mixing the two musics and in half hour your brain blows. As for people, we hoped to find younger and more attractive couples, but unfortunately this did not happen. I think it was our worst experience.
Not really a night club, this is a restaurant that took away tables and made a small dance floor next to the bar. DJ was really, really off beat, this guy definitely doesn't know how to blend and mix correctly at all. As a DJ for many, many years myself at some high level night clubs this was pretty excruciating to listen too, some songs went over 4 minutes and then were mixed with the BPM's way off. Overall, definitely wouldn't visit again our next trip to NYC.
This place has the best vibes. You can sit for hours, sipping wine or a martini and having a cigarette. The people watching is fantastic and the staff is attentive yet chill and never makes you feel rushed. The fries are consistently delicious and the plate of olives is 10/10. Also highly recommend their martini
My partner and I couldn't fully enjoy the atmosphere since the a,c was broken. It's also alot smaller then it was described on their website.
Who knew there was such a cute, authentic little French bistro right in the heart of LES. If you play your cards right sitting outside in the sun is the rockstar move. Sit side by side and watch the world go past.
I didn’t capture much of what we ate but it was all delicious. Pork Rillette, mushroom pate, Niçoise salad and fries. All were wonderful each with their own little special something.
Add in a couple of glasses of rose and we managed to extend a summer afternoon in Cannes into a moment in November in NYC if just for a day

If you are looking for a great time with hot music. Look no further @retroclub is the place to be! Me and my party danced the night away to some great tunes by DJ Jeff. The crowd was warm and welcoming. And everyone hit that dance floor. I can't wait to do it again.

LOVE this place. I came right at 5pm when they open and got a seat at the bar (always my fave spot when dining solo). Staff was wonderful, food and cocktails were amazing, and the ambiance is fantastic. This will be a huge hit in the neighborhood. Hopefully, I will be able to sneak in and grab a seat at the bar.
Probably the best retro club in NYC. Nicest manager-DJ, Jeff. Crowd actually dances the entire time and dances well. Michael Jackson impersonator sometimes. Broad range of music and DISCO.
