Speedy delivery. Fresh food. Large portion. Great flavor. Nice boneless spare ribs. High quality meat and shrimp. No fillers (not too many onions or bamboo). Nice selection on the menu.

Food is excellent and prices are comparable to other Chinese restaurants. The only complaint I have is that if you order large size meal, drink or egg roll is not included. If you order a lunch special which is cheaper, soda or egg roll gets included. That makes no sense

This is straight up a take out place. Been going for 30+ years. The shrimp rolls were crisper when the former owners were there, BUT... this is bar none the BEST lomein in town. Chicken and broccoli is fresh and tasty. Sweet and sour shrimp has bigger shrimp and the batter is puffy and crisp. They're closed on Tuesdays, plan accordingly.
We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant during our travels. The food was amazing, and the portions were much more generous compared to other Chinese places around. The owner was kind and welcoming. We'll be returning!
I've been going here for 24 years and was always amazing, the food the service very good. Until new people took over the business. The food isn't as good they changed some of the recipes, but the service is terrible. No one takes a name when you place an order so it takes 15 minutes or more to get your food because no one's knows which order goes to what person. So disappointing. Never going again.
Food came warm, not hot. Order was taken over the phone by a very young child. Order was standard except for one item with omissions. That was delivered wrong. Veggies and rice had a chemical taste. Problem with the water maybe? Child also asked “big or small”, i said quart, he asked “is that big?” Not usually a complaint poster but this was the third request i got for a review from our order two weeks ago. Prob wont return. Sorry Komodo.
Food is pretty good. Restaurant is small and very clean with a few tables to sit at. Staff is kind and quick.
Our usual place was closed. We gave to Sentosa another shot as we use to go there years ago. Big mistake! Absolutely disgusting.

Food was great but now it’s so is disgustingly dirty. From the front door to the bathroom it plain to see. I can’t imagine the status of kitchen.

Have been going here for years .the food is always excellent even when I order plates that are not on the menu. The staff is always friendly.Have been going to this Chinese place since I was 10yrs old and so far the best I've had. Portions are huge and always hits the spot.
This restaurant is our go to for Chinese take out in the area. We don't eat meat so we are very happy to have a local restaurant with vegetarian options. Everything tastes delicious!

I went here for the first time yesterday and was very impressed. Could not find good Chinese food anywhere and decided let's try this. VERY CLEAN!! The Owner is there working and making sure food is prepared right and customers are happy. And the food is really good! Reasonably priced

Got bored of the usual chinese restaurant we order from, so we decided to try this place out. The shrimp egg foo young and boneless ribs were delish. Would def order from here again and try other dishes.
Super good Chinese food. Nice service. Had the beef and string beans. Omg so very good. Lovely soups and perfectly cooked rice. My favorite was the boba tea, which we didn’t know they sold! Got the tiger tea with tapioca and a tea with popping boba. So light and tasty.
The best House special rice I have tasted. And the only place I trust to eat the flavor of Asian food me and my family love. Friendly staff too.

Hands down the best Chinese food in brick.The steamed pork dumplings are easily the best in Ocean county. I have 4 Chinese restaurants in a 2 mile radius, but I make the 20 minute drive to china express 2 .because it's just worth it.
Got lunch to go. Barbeque spare ribs average, old and dry. (Even after asking for fresh ribs). Garlic chicken combo, ok but too much oil and not much flavor.
Excellent Chinese food for take out or eating in the restaurant. Easy online ordering and plenty of gluten-free options. Love it! Highly recommended.
The worst food I ever have , decide to try this restaurant it’s the nastiest food , the dough for dumplings are so hard , not even a bush rat would want this food, I throw it in the trash where it supposed to be , wish I could throw the restaurant as well , delivery was on time , that’s the reason for the one star , wish I had read the reviews before purchase
Craving Chinese, so I stopped in and ordered a family pack from their menu. To feed 4. Typical Chinese food where the only thing separating all locations is price and portion size. This place is equal to most locations if not a tad better. Still haven't found the great spot with value and portion sizing that blows all away. Give them a shot.

I was so pleasantly surprised by Komodo. The food was delicious! Great shrimp with broccoli. Delicious general tso’s chicken. Really good dumplings. And my order was exactly on time. All around excellent experience.

This is hands down the absolute WORST FOOD I EVER ATE. Spent $40 and NOTHING WAS EDIBLE!! NOTHING!!!!!!! They aught to be ashamed of themselves!!! Disgusting. Slimey beef. Cold dumplings and how the heck can you mess up chicken chow mein!!!!! Dont waste your money here!!

Saturday night is the absolute worst-night to order from here- food is overly cook as in reheated and you can see the brown speckles from the fryer on my egg rolls. The "fresh" mustard is days old and tastes like vinegar. I'll be looking elsewhere. These days it is so expensive to enjoy a nice night of no cooking anymore. And now just to have a nasty taste in my mouth, throw it away, and move on to cooking dinner tonight. Wasted money 💰
Sad to review. First time ordering. We were annoyed that we received pork in our vegetarian dishes. But annoyance turned to disgust when we found bugs on our plate that most definitely did not come from our house. Idk what is going on but this is really disturbing. I have never experienced something like this before.
FILTHY!! I wouldn't have eaten the food if the kitchen & dining room weren't clean, BUT FILTHY PLACE! I TOLD THE OWNER, Delicious food but CLEAN THE FLOORS PLEASE, CLEAN FISH TANK, CLEAN THE TOILETTES, CLEAN THE BATHROOM, CLEAN THE RECEPTION AREA. PLEASE! Won't go back.
Their foot is great . The sesame chicken is sweet . The shrimp and mixed veg. Is good. The shrimp is cooked perfectly.
They have best chinese food in town. My family order from them two times a week. General Taos chicken is my favor, and we like chicken broccoli.
I hate having to write a bad review but everything we ordered was trash the egg foo young was a greasy mess the gravy had zero flavor . The mei fun was mei miserable . The egg rolls looked like they were fried 9 times not 8 not 10 but 9 times .. I usually order from silver lake kitchen and there amazing , but I had a friend who ordered and he fuked up his ordering privileges are revoked until further notice . Save your money save your stomach and order from silver lake .
The food is excellent! The only thing that they MUST improve is the cleaning of the bathrooms and make sure that those particular installations are in working order. The men's bathroom is not flushing. Also, they need to clean the windows of the restaurant.
I’ve been ordering food here since this place opened and not once was I ever let down. This place always makes your food fresh and it’s always consistently amazing. I’ve brought my family and friends here, and everyone loves the food and especially the bubble teas. You can’t go wrong with anything you order, but once you find your favorite go to, the super nice people that work here will probably have it memorized. It’s so hard to find a place like this nowadays!!!!!

Sentosa is a great family owned Chinese and Vegetarian restaurant. The ingredients are very fresh and the dishes are not overloaded with unnecessary sauces or additives.
It is my absolute favorite Kung Pao chicken around. They also do a great job of offering delicious vegetarian and vegan options. The owner is friendly and accommodating. Give this place a try.

Don’t not go I repeat don’t go ever ! I would leave 0 if I could ordered sweet and sour chick that was bad gave 2 family food poisoning when I called they told me I’m wrong and it’s our fault.

I’ve been ordering from bamboo gardens for 20 years. My family loves it every time. It’s always fresh, always good. They never mess up the order. We have tried other places (bc of visitors saying they have a place they like !) never as good. All the bad reviews are ridiculous, ppl are always complaining about NONSENSE. This food is good darn gooooood. Fresh made.

I ordered food from bamboo garden and when I went to eat my chicken and string beans, the string beans were brown and looked very old. Definitely not fresh. The dumplings that we ordered were black like they just kept deep frying them over and over, also the egg rolls were very greasy. We went back to bamboo garden to ask for them to remake this food for us and they refused. I didn’t want my money back. I wanted my food remade because I was hungry. They would not remake it. Instead they gave me back 10 dollars which wasn’t even the amount of money that the food came to and told me to get out now. The people at bamboo garden are very rude and unprofessional. No costumer service skills at all.
We’re were here in Jersey for a Family funeral and looking for some great Asian food... this place came up and so we decided to check it out. The staff were friendly, service was great, food was amazing! We were definitely impressed. We moved to Tennessee from Florida and missed having good Chinese food. The Dumplings, wontons, and egg rolls were all super fresh and tasty. Our main course was awesome so glad we came. Also they were very accommodating for us with an infant and 7 year old. Very family friendly.
Without a doubt, the best Chinese food in Ocean County. Affordable, excellent quality, ample portions, and always willing to accommodate special requests. Try the special soups, fried dumplings, ribs, chicken wings, vegetarian dishes, everything. You won't be disappointed.
I've been ordering from Bamboo for a couple of years, the food is good and delivery quick an polite. Problem is they have an American woman who works the phone. She is incredibly rude and claims to volunteer there. I won't go there anymore. I'm not a Karen lol, but I'm not gonna go somewhere where the service is rude. Again only when she is there. It's tough for small businesses in this environment. Eat at peking 88. Kind people decent food

Absolutely delicious! This place offers all of the dishes you're accustomed to seeing at your favorite Chinese restaurant...BUT... they have an amazingly extensive vegan/vegetarian menu that is to die for! I wish I lived closer as I'd go at least once or twice a week. I most definitely highly recommend!
