Chinese here, so their food are very authentic, and their cooking style are specifically traced to.. their store name mentioned “Shanghai” which offer food like hot sour soap. We found the food very enjoyable and definitely worth the price, given the selection of buffet- dim sum, custom order for chef to cook for you, sushi and sashimi, ice cream, soup. Etc they didn’t offer soft drinks in the buffet though, so we drank water. We always come back here as Chinese visiting Strasbourg as we couldn’t think of any reason not to. Not sure why this place has low review either as the food are great, their review is probably complaint about the service which again, Chinese server usually don’t smile so might have been perceived as rude due to culture indifferent….their price have gone up a bit but still very cheap.

This was the worst Chinese buffet that I have ever tried .The service is very bad and they do not speak English. Very poor hygiene and poor food, you can tell by its bad smell

Strong pungent smell upon entrance. Very limited food selection surprisingly. Half of them are raw food, yet the wok station has one man and not at all friendly. Guy needs some serious customer service training. Confusing queuing directions, bland taste, an overall very inefficient station. Expect holding your food for quite a long wait and the chef cooking for random new people first. True the comment of other reviewers that the guy look at you funny. Soup is watery and few actual dishes, mostly cheap repeating stuffs. Limited seafood and not fresh; sushi is way too sour. Staffs floating around but no one is picking up used plates. One good thing is perhaps the decent ice creams like others mentioned here.

This was the worst Chinese buffet that I have ever gone to and i regret spending money here, even a 5€ mcdonalds menu is more worth it. The people working there are super aggressive and look at you badly. I found hair in the food. There is not that much selection for food. For the wok area, the waiting is way too long. The place smells super bad. I would’ve said that the only thing that you can eat there is the ice cream but even in the ice cream there was hair. Never go here, it the biggest scam for the price, there is so much better for the same price.

The food in this Chinese restaurant are terrible, I don’t think the chef understands what the Chinese food really are, none of the the 4 dishes we ordered is ok, the chef should learn the skill well first! Very frustrating

Delicious, quality ingredients and very decent price/quantity ratio
The food was tasty and portions were pretty big. But first they forgot about our table that we booked in advance and then we had to wait for more than an hour for our food to arrive and one of the waitresses was really annoyed that she had to serve us. This was really weird.
It was an amazing experience of food from Hong Kong restaurant. We ordered appetizers which were really delicious. The portion was not so much that we could finish the main course.
The main course was perfect. Taste, preparation, quality of ingredients, everything was great. The staff was really nice and the atmosphere was quiet and cozy. I recommend it to everyone.

I ordered the stir fry lamb noodle.

The “noodle” is good but the Lamb is the worst I’ve ever had. Lamb is very dry and tasteless.
We were the first table the walk in slightly before it opens officially at 11.30 and I got my food at 12.20. Waited almost an hour for this dish while many other table who came in and order after me along with many take out already got their order before me.
A real hidden gem with authentic Chinese cuisine. For meat dishes it is recommended to order when making reservations.

Incredibly delicious noodle dishes. The fresh handmade noodles make all the difference. Everyone in our group of 8 loved their meal.
Tip: On a warm day sit outside, it gets really warm inside with the pots all steaming on the open kitchen.

Tip2: have a reservation. It is a very busy restaurant.
Delicious Chinese food from a very welcoming chef-owner. At the end of our dinner we were treated with free sake. Highly recommend!

Large portions and many (halal) options. Good Chinese spot in Strasbourg
Very good service and nice staff.
The food and portions are generous. We were two and we took starters + one main course.
I have been to many Chinese restaurant and all I can say is that I didn’t like the quality of the food: not the best cooking for the starters, the noodles, the duck and spicy sauce not spicy at all.
The spot was very nice, we ate in the terrasse, abd it is a very calm neighboorhood.
The food was amazing and the people were very friendly. We had the duck and several other dishes that I cannot pronounce their names. Basically, we had the whole menu and every single dish was exceptional!

Very good restaurant in the center of Strasbourg. Tasty dishes, well seasoned. The service is super fast and the staff is nice. You can see the chef make the noodles right in front of you. We tried soup with noodles and fried noodles and fried chicken, delicious. We will definitely come back.

Real Authentic Chinese Restaurant. They make their own home made noodle which is 👌👍. Service is not extra special. The waiter forgot our dimsum , so we cancelled it. Came here to try Soup Noodle that cost 15€. +-.

Our experience in this restaurant was not so good. (Bad service from the boss, taste OK~Good, long wait time, expensive 老板态度差,价格贵,超长等待,味道还可以但感觉不值得 )

First, when we ordered dishes and we had some questions about the dishes, the Chinese boss of the restaurant seems very cold and annoyed. It was very surprising for us because we rarely experienced like that....

Then we needed to wait very long time although the restaurant did not have so many guests... But we stayed optimistic, hoping that the dishes must be very delicious.

We could sacrifice the service experience and time for good food. It turned out that the taste was ok (maybe 7/10), which did not worth our time and suffering from the bad service from the boss (By the way, the waiter was nice to us.)

We really do not understand the behaviour of the Chinese boss. And the price is over expensive.
Very authentic Chinese food. Pleasant surprise to find it so easily and the waitress was so friendly! Delicious food and relaxing vibes. They have a very affordable lunch menu too!
A good experience..I love eating Chinese for the first time..I just didn't like the aftertaste in the mouth..the service was great, rapid and the place is very friendly!!
Super nice Chinese restaurant. Authentic with an amazing atmosphere. The food was really good and had bought great vegetarian/vegan option as well as regular one. The service was friendly. It truly brought us back to China.
Expensive, not fancy but good food. Recommended. Be aware that side dishes are charged separately.

Really good buffet in free border of the city center, large choice of food, lot of space. Nice staff, attentive, good service. However, I went to the wok twice and my food wasn’t cooked enough. I recommend.

The food is amazing. I always enjoy this place for the real Chinese tasting meals.
It's definitely a place where you go as a group so you can enjoy more dishes on the table and discover new wonders.
I ordered fried noodles with beef slices. It was good not great but quite cure my homesick for asian food in France.

They opened at 18.30, their queue was quite long, but the good thing was the place was quite big, so do not worry, you will get your place.

Good place, everything is made after the order has been placed, so you know it’s fresh. Place is a little small and thus you have to make a reservation beforehand (got talked to about that since I just walked in not knowing so). Price wise not the cheapest but also not too expensive, it’s affordable. I’d recommend checking them out.

Really delicious Chinese restaurant. The food was amazing and if i could i would have eaten everything to the last bit but unfortunately I wasn’t very hungry. If i’m not mistaken the restaurant is owned by Chinese people which makes it even better. The service was great. I would definitely recommend going here since it’s one of the few delicious restaurants i’ve been to in Strasbourg.
We loved it. Serviceminded people.
A 'bit' extra all the time to surprise us

We chance upon the restaurant and it was quite full. Food is fine but waitress not very friendly initially. Their sweet and sour pork overly fried. Everything else is fine.
This is a good restaurant. Excellent service. Very tasty food and excellent coffee. Special thanks to the manager. He's the best! Thank you)
At first we were impressed - a typical Chinese restaurant, with dark wood furniture and a pleasant atmosphere. The appetizers arrived quickly and were delicious. But then people who came for take away got everything quickly, even though they didn't order in advance, while we waited for an whole hour for the main course!! The dishes themselves were mediocre, especially the sweet and sower meat . We were very disappointed.
This place is well recommended if u find a restaurant that's inexpensive & good for value. With just EUR 18.9 u can eat shrimps & salmon as u wish 🙂 The shumai is juicy & the stir-fry wok is also good.
Wonderful Peking Duck, just like in Beijing! The original preparation using the skin in the fist course. The soup: Superb as well. The Service: Excellent. 360 enjoyment.

One of the best noodles I’ve had in France, and indisputably the best in Strasbourg. Noodles had the perfect texture, the soup had the perfect seasoning. The waiter was very nice and helpful. Starters are also worth to try and close to authentic recipes. Prices are convenient and portions are big. It was not an easy task to make me enjoy a noodle soup with the hot weather outside, well done. I will definitely come back.
Food court Chinese restaurants are much better than this place , totally bad experience and food
Wouldn’t come back ever !!
Absolutly delicious food for a good price/quality ratio. The restaurant is very clean, minimalistic interieur; not like other chinese Restaurants. The best part was the food which has a astonishing good quality and rich flavours! Next time in strasbourg I will come back for sure! By the way the service was as well good; the owner is very friendly and funny!

The waitress was quite rude when asking for the menu. Therefore we left without eating.
Overall small restaurant with tight sitting arrangements. Menu is very small with limited choices.
Waitress polite and efficient. Good, appropriately portioned food with prices averaging 20€/person. Nice view!
Excellent food, friendly service 👍 My favourite Chinese restaurant ever!!

I visited this restaurant last week during my business trip in Strassbourg. I was trying to get a take-out, but the owner/chef was so arrogant. Basically, he told me either to eat there or go somewhere else. I was so embarrassed and had no choice but left.

Staff was super friendly. Food was delicious, would recommend the broccoli, bao buns, and pork/peanut dimsum!

The quality and taste of the food was great, no complaints there. The service was decent but where I had to take off a star was the quantity; I wasn't full after. The price is pretty good considering it's the city center but you can't eat inside (there are 2 tables outside but given it's getting colder that's not exactly a nice option). All in all, I'd eat there again but knowing it's a snack and not a real meal.
Meals were tasty and brought to the table quickly...which was very helpful since we were on a tight schedule. Only issue (& why I gave 4 stars) is that rice was not included. When paying 13€ for an entree, having to pay an added 2€ for a bowl of white rice is a little much.
Went there for they Beijing Duck, the so called speciality of the house.

Well, if you don't know, how Beijing Duck is done and served, you should not offer it as speciality.

My wife, originally from China, was more then disappointed and so was I. Tried it a few times in Beijing and Tianjin but this was nowhere close.

The Duck skin was offered with pancakes but cucumber was missing. Only onions and sauce. Pancakes way to small to form a roll or picket.

Then they took away the pancakes and served the meat cooked with sauce. This is a absolut no go.

My wife refused to eat it that way and only ate rice which we had to order as side dish.

Might be good for Europeans who never been to China, but if you expect authentic Chinese cuisine, that is not the place to go to.

Sorry, but we are really disappointed.

I go there each time when I visit Strasbourg since a couple of years.

5 stars simply because I personally like the home-cooked food there very much.
I was hesitant between a 3 or 4 * review. The food and portions are generous. If you take the menu or starters + main prepare to have a doggy bag.
What i didn't like was the taste and the quality of the food. It is not a bad restaurant, but if you are picky on food and the quality, it is not a good pick. They're there to make money and that's it.
Hope they can improve with the time.
The service was good
Off the beaten track and glad we found it. Had beef with onions & hoisin sauce with rice. It was delicious and all that was needed.
Waitress was on her own, it was full and still managed!
Food for the soul! 200% recommended. I had the “Découverte” menu option with different flavors. Booking a table in advance is necessary. If you like homemade spicy sauces, do not hesitate to ask for it here. One of the best ones I ever had. Service was full of smiles.

Thank you again.

Conclusion: the taste is not authentic like the Chinese Dim Sum, but rather a Western interpretation of Chinese dumplings. The food tastes bland and I cannot recommend it. All food lovers who truly appreciate a good cuisine will be disappointed here.
Service: 2 stars due to gruff manner and didn't feel welcomed
Interior: small restaurant with a modern design

Disappointed in the small portions for take away. A small tray of rice cost €2 and was not enough for 1 person. Noodles cost €4, also not enough for 1 person. Biggest disappointment was the beef with mushrooms, we paid €14 for this very small dish, not enough for 2 persons. There was no choice in sizes. Usually in other restaurants these kind of dishes for €14 are enough for certainly 2 persons, but not here. Restaurant The Great Wall/Grand Muraille let us pay for the plain rice which also was a too small portion for €2. Taste of the beef dish and noodles were okay, the meat was a little bit dry
If you need to have a late dinner on a Monday (around 9pm), this is the only decent place in the neighborhood. All other restaurants around looked terrible or were closed so we ended up here. The food was surprisingly good and prices are fair (around 13-15 per dish, 2-4€ extra for rice). Just note that despite asking specifically, they still didn't make the food spicy. The waiter was fine, the service was regularly-fast. Overall satisfied.
Bland dim sum, overcooked rice, overly sweet chicken w/pineapple. The beef in the hot plate was good and well seasoned but all the rest (I preferred to skip dessert) was below average, so the overall rating is negative.
Not the typical Chinese restaurant you go to! Very cosy and nicely prepared food!
BEST Chinese food in the city. We go here for any and all special occasions. A LOT of food (quantity) and excellent quality. The service is amazing as well, they are very hospitable and kind. The best is to reserve tables though!

I stayed in Strasbourg for 6 days and I ate in this restaurant almost everyday except for Christmas day. Why I choose to ate here...it's because from all of the chinese restaurants in Europe that I have ever visited... in my opinion this is the best. I am not from China but I think I know exactly what is the taste of a delicious chinese food should be, and this is delicious. Perhaps...for the size of the portion...everyone has their own preferences...but for me...it's enough.

The service was fine and consistent everytime I came. Today was the last day I came here since tomorrow I will move to the other city and I had a miscommunication with the staff so they made different dishes. They managed to change my dishes professionally...and I appreciate it.

When I have another chance to come back to this city...I would definitely will eat again in this restaurant.
Too expensive for what you get - 3 people 84.- euros - staff are not very friendly. The food is ok, rice not thoroughly cooked and the sauce on the cantonese duck tastes like bbq (?)
Definitely won‘t be coming back
Food are really nice! My favorite dish here is Fish fillet sweet and sour! Great services 😊

This is too much French style. Not really a Chinese restaurant. Taste is normal. Too limited veggies choices. The spirit is just wrong 😑
Not tasty satay sauce, small portions, vegitables under cooked, salty, more expensive than others in Strasbourg.

Tasty dishes!! I love the roasted duck. You need to try Café Liégeois especially after having a huge meal. I would say the prices are reasonable for France. They
served the dishes quickly. Most of them speaks English too. Just don't forget to check your bill before you pay as I was charged for a Chinese beer instead of still water. Good thing I noticed it before paying.

It's alright, but nothing special. Definitely wouldn't recommend going here if you're vegetarian (I knew this so I'm not deducting any stars for that). The price is fine for what you get.
