Could not even make it past the first bite that i spit out. Not one good thing. Not even the crappy fortune cookie. My sister had a few bites and now feels sick to her stomach and is now curled up on her bed because her stomach hurts. To top it off they refused to refund our money when we confronted them.. dont eat here! Bad people. Bad food. Bad business!

First time being here. Loved the food. Amazing! Our new favorite restaurant. Not fancy, low key, but everything was awesome. I came into the restaurant and the waiter pulled out my chair for me. Right! Loved it. Quick service, polite, respectful, and kept checking our table. Yes! Definitely go there my friends.

Quite the experience.

No greetings, no smiling, no thanking for patronage.

If your looking for a concentration camp like experience it may fill the need.

The food wasn't even really good, but the customer service was non existent, point you in the direction of the food, grunt, scowl and walk away.
Then they take your money and move onto the next customer to deliver an exceptional manic depressive food experience.

I am a dasher so I’m in the car a lot, so sometimes I don’t have time to eat much if at all. I was picking up an order here and this kind worker gave me some cream cheese wontons because I had briefly mentioned the fact I hadn’t eaten yet today and being around food all day was downright torture. I wish I would have caught his name, I was in at around 8pm today. Again thank you so much!

You can tell they have an amazing manager and team by the way they all interact with each other and keep their cool during a crisis (register not working).

The food and customer service here is amazing. The food is fresh. You can taste the difference from the buffet food. It's a tiny place, and if you're not looking for it, you might miss it. Highly recommend it.

This place is greatly under rated! All the reviews before new owners should be removed. Good food, better service, they were quick and polite even while extremely busy. Prices are some of the best I've seen speciality for the portion size, you will not leave hungry.

Stopped in for a lunch/dinner date with the husband. Great service and thier food was amazing! Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely stop again next trip to town.

Kay Ann was wonderful! She made us feel welcome and made sure we would enjoy our meal. The gentleman that did the preparing of the food did awesome. The food and service was great. Give these two a raise!

I really want to know how one of the best fast food restaurants in the area has become so bad. It's an embarrassment compared to years ago. The employees seem vacant and lost, the chow main is dry??, and the other entrees seem "off."

The fried rice my bf orderd LITTERLY smelled like an acual cigarette and it tasted like one also. Someone must of made this with cigarettes it was so bad .

We are new-ish to town and looking for good Chinese restaurants in our area. Great Dragon Buffet has the best fried dumpling with sauce I've had! All the food we've tried as been top notch. I recommend this place for any taste!

We ordered (2) 4 place family meals for our family of 7. Needless to say we ended up ordering pizza after spending $91 here. The beef in the beef broccoli wasn't cooked (was pink), was 80% carrots and was overpowering of ginger. The sesame chicken burnt your lips immediately, I don't know what they did to it but it wasn't edible. The noodles were very overcooked or old as they mooshed into paste in your mouth. The 18 cream cheese puffs were soggy messes/again, undercooked. They also put the chocolate dipped fortune cookies right on top of our hot food so were a big clump of a mess (went in the trash). The fried rice was great, the Peking and one other white chicken entree were good but 50%+ of what we ordered went into the trash. We used to frequent LeAnn chin in St.Cloud. Never again!

Stopped in for a quick bite. Me and my gf both got the 3 course entry. The portion sizes were a little on the small side and we were astonished with how expensive our bill came out to be. It was over $35 and we didn’t even order anything to drink. Kinda crazy. Food was ok, and staff was nice. This place isn’t anything I really rave about but have definitely had worse. Just didnt seem worth the price at all.

The place definitely doesn’t have many options to eat and is called a so buffet. Food is cold and we are supposed not to waste food based on the poster next to the food. Was not given no napkins or asked for a refill. We order a sweet tea but tasted more water than tea. If I were able to give 0 stars I would.

Unfortunately this was the utter case of what looked like a team that did NOT want to be there at all. Barely said a word to take our order, half of the containers were empty and zero things were on the grill to fill the empty ones and it was clear they made one portion fit for two of the orange chicken so they didn’t have to make more. Come on guys, we don’t ask for much but this ain’t it. Hopefully this place can figure their stuff out.

It came with all the toppings and add ins. Add the chili oil. Piping hot.

I think the food is much better when you order delivery as it is made to order, but the dine in buffet is good as well. It was not very busy when we ate, so I think the food suffered a bit as it might not have been very fresh. It was still very good, and the staff was helpful without hovering.

First timer for the Great Dragon restaurant. The host/cashier/service person. Was very personable, kind and efficient. The cooks came out to restock the food continuously. The food was fresh and tasty. It’s a small buffet place and it’s really good. Anything you don’t get on the buffet is on their extensive menu. So good!

Great Dragon buffet is Outstanding in every dinning respect. Clean & Cozy restaurant that serves Chinese fare made with love. Phenomenal service. Convenient downtown location. A Must stop when craving quality cuisine.

2nd time I've been here. We live 2.5 hours away but my husband and I are doing work here in St. Cloud. The Beijing Beef is excellent 👌🏻 it's clean and staff are friendly. I think it would be smart to put a Panda Express in Marshall, MN near where I live. It would thrive! We have minimal food options there and Marshall is the biggest town near me. There's not much competition. I'd rather Panda Express over anything they have.

Hey! Previous kitchen manager here! I’m long gone and so are the cooks I trained along with all management in the entire state! The food is no longer being made properly OR safely and you should not eat here for the sake of your health. The regional manager drove away all the people who made sure you weren’t receiving a plate of food poisoning. If you insist on risking your well-being here, ask that your food be made fresh and temped in front of you. If it does not reach 165 degrees, it has not killed the cross-contaminating bacteria of the meats in that kitchen. That includes the side dishes, and even my best cooks took tons of training just to cook chow mein correctly. These guys have none of that training. Beware and take care.

I do not recommend this establishment. I should have left when they had me paying at the door! They removed desserts 40 minutes before close with eating customers inside. Food was barely filled in the trays and tasted pretty mediocre. Customer was begging for more egg rolls to be put out and they said there were none 30 mins to close. They didn’t put out enough for 3 tables of customers.

Their service was horrible. Everyone in the restaurant was getting their drinks refilled besides me until the very end.

What was suppose to be a fun outing with my daughter ended up sour because this establishment didn’t meet my bare minimum expectations. I do not recommend this place, there are plenty of better buffets in town!

Cooking area was clean, Staff were kind, and food was good! Some dust and dirt here and there but otherwise great!

me and my friend have been going to this location for years— it has always been a wonderful experience, nice staff, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. but something about it today was not right AT ALL. we got to-go, and we ordered what we normally do, the crab wontons, egg rolls, vegetable lo mein, general tso chicken, and a few other things. we enjoyed our first box of the wontons mixed with the sugar donuts, and then we opened the second one and filled our plates, we already were weary about it because they substituted the lo mein noodles for fettuccine and it didn’t look the greatest but we wanted to try. i had rice and general tso and it tasted great— but my friend bit into her egg roll and immediately knew something was wrong with it, she had to spit it out and actually ended up throwing up. as she got up to puke i opened up the second egg roll and it did not look like it should’ve, the meat was red looking and it did not smell good at all, like it had some sort of stench, and after my friend was able to compose herself she explained that it tasted absolutely rancid. the rest of the food was pretty bland except for the wontons, broccoli, general tso chicken, and the sauces. for the first time in YEARS this is the first time we’ve had a terrible experience with them, and it’s crazy because just a few weeks ago we went there and it was great! and the noodles were actually lo mein noodles. this experience was enough to make us not really want to come back, and if we do it won’t be for a long while

The food was amazing and the service was great. The spicy wings are definitely a must try. The banh mi was delicious and meaty. The sesame chicken was crispy and delicious. The lo mein was delicious too. The pho was decent but not the best. Still good for a nice cold day. Overall great food and great service. Definitely recommend this place and I will definitely keep coming back here.

If you want Cream Cheese Puffs, please don’t go here. Save your soul and stomach and go to china star instead. I went here out of desperation since China Star was closed. It’s all just cream cheese with no seasoning. The shell is chewy and hard but undercooked all at the same time. The bad reviews are not an over exaggeration, save your money.

Had the all meat pho. They only have 1 size which was good for me. The pho already comes with condiments such as greens and bell sprout in besides spice. Meatballs were not traditional but it was actually pleasant. Chicken texture was off and didn't seem fresh. The other meats were fine. Broth was crazy oily. Too much for me. I prefer clear broth. Noodles were clumpy as well so they were not cooked the best. Won't come here again.

This restaurant has incredibly rude staff, a disorganized kitchen, and a messy lobby. They let my food get cold while waiting for an order to be finished. They did not clean the lobby at all. One person there is friendly and polite, but the rest of them were definitely disengaged. The food quality is definitely not where it should be.

Updating my review for vegetarians now that Panda has included Beyond Orange Chicken, which I combined with the Power Greens. The food was very good, and it's a great new entree. Very tasty!
Be aware that the Beyond entree might require about a 10 min wait since they make it fresh.
At the moment, their fountain drink machine is temporarily not working, so it's bottled drinks.
All in all, some positive momentum!

Great staff and great food. There was a huge selection of food to choose from. The food was warm and tasted great. It was about 10 dollars per bowl. Got 1 side with 2 entrees filled to the top. Overall great experience. I will definitely be coming back.

This'll probably be the most accurate and up-to-date review you'll find on this place. I've never experienced the old Phoenix Express; so my experience is only through the newest owners/dishes, recipes and so forth. I've experienced plenty of both authentic-asian food and also americanized-asian style foods over the yrs (my neighbors growing up were born in Laos and plenty of other asian friends). This place does a great job blending the best of both worlds. As you can see with the orange chicken, it's not your mall-style cheap asian orange chicken and also there's no fish eyeballs staring at you. Plates were well decorated. I tried all 3 types of egg rolls; all were great and you can't go wrong. My wife liked the Vietnam style egg roll the most. We both enjoyed the cheese wontons. You could eat some as an appetizer and save some for dessert, because there's so many, each PACKED with a sweet cheesy flavor you'll want lingering on your tongue, long after your main meal. The rice was a perfect 10/10. The place was super clean and comfortable to be in. Very neat decorations to glance at as well. I also ate here 30 minutes before they closed, and so it was empty and yet everything came out FRESH. Meaning it's likely to be freshly prepared always. And just look at those 'hot and spicy' wings. They were as good as they looked! YUM. If you dislike soggy wings, the way they prep theirs you can get the sauce and crunch. Nothing worse than wasting time reading about old reviews! The pho was a huge portion for the price. The broth was amazing. There was only chili oil, sriracha, and lemon juice from what I saw for condiments. The meat in the pho was delicious too and there was a lot of it. The sesame chicken was great and it came with rice. This was the half portion. The chicken is non-breaded and it is stated on the menu. The oyster chicken wings was the disappointment of the restaurant. It was probably the worst I have ever had. I think they put peanut butter in the sauce to make it thick. Everything else was great. Overall, great staff and mostly great food. I would definitely recommend this place.

I have to give it a 3.5 star. This little joint has so much potential to earn a 5 star from me. The pho broth was amazing (5 stars) but the meat quality and choices were of low quality when it comes to pho. If they threw in some quality meat like thinly sliced rib eye and brisket… game changer! Noodles were about the same as anywhere else. The presentation was also lacking and they put in hoisin sauce when served! That’s a no no. I like to eat my pho traditionally and have both the hoison and sriracha on the side.. that way it doesn’t ruin the amazing broth this place serves. 😔

Disappointed this is the second time I ordered from them and was not happy with customer service also quantity, the first time I ordered the curry chicken the half order they put it in a paper container that the lid unfolded opened and spilled all over the bag and my car and it was a small portion for what I had to pay which was expensive. I did call Dong Khanh to let them know what happened and they did not care to make it right with me the customer ... so I thought well I never got a chance to try the curry chicken because they put it in a cardboard box that leaks and that popped open and spilled all over my car! so I thought I'd give it one more try this time. I called in and asked for a double portion (full portion) so meaning double the portion for more money and this time I did make sure to ask them to put it in a plastic container do to what happened last time, well long story short there full portion was not a full portion... and I payed like $3.50 more for an extra table spoon worth... do to not trying to make things right the first time with a customer being me and being stingy with quantity and this time being stingy as well with quantity. I would give them a 1 star rating also there expensive. I recommend if you order from them chicken curry make sure to ask for a plastic container and it's very saucy also expect to pay a lot for a small portion, but I will say the chicken curry did taste good but I've had better quality and quantity wise for cheaper.

Very weird customer to employee experience. This definitely is a take out place rather than a dine in as you get little to no interaction from the workers present. I didn't even get a notice of when my food was ready, they just slid my food over the counter and expected me to know to go get it.

The food was very subpar. I got the shrimp pho. For the price, you do get a decent amount but you literally have no control of how you want it to taste like. Not the best pho in town contrary to others' opinions.

One of my friends got the pork lo mein which wasn't even cooked fresh. They grabbed it from one of the pans. It looked and tasted old and some of the noodles had gotten hard.

The wontons were honestly the best part about this visit. Very good wonton skin as well as being nice and fresh! These would be the only reason I would eat here again.

The egg rolls are amazing and my sweet and sour chicken came out crispy. The sweet and sour sauce that came with the chicken had a cherry in it which I thought was a nice surprise

The food here is okay, it’s tasty, but the chicken has a lot of fat in it and the cuts are pretty mediocre quality. That doesn’t particularly bother me, but they charge as much and more than places that use higher quality cuts.

The real issue is that this place is incredibly dirty. I came in with my daughter and couldn’t put her in a high chair or booster seat because they were all disgusting, there was food all over them, they were sticky with built up gunk from months of not being cleaned properly.
The soda machine has disgusting residue from the buttons never being cleaned. That brown garbage is literal months of dead skin cells and whatever bacteria people have been bringing in!
The chairs are the same way, cracks and months worth of residue from hands and bodies. Absolutely disgusting. The floors haven’t even been properly swept, I was here before noon, and it still looked like this.

I would not recommend anybody eat here until the management figures out how to do more than the bare minimum for cleaning.
