I recently visited Old Hong Kong for the first time and was blown away by the quality of the food and the unbeatable prices. There is a significant different between this place at Highland court vs the Asian court place in the same suburb. This is the one to pick! Have been ordering for over a decade.

This place is Honestly the best Chinese I've had in my long years here on the Gold coast and that's no lie!! Great Service for just 2 people behind counter and very Friendly for Anyone who goes there.. Me and my family go here every weekend because it's that good 💯☝🏾

This was once a great Chinese Restaurant. We had take away. There was nothing special about the Special Fried Rice. Extremely dissapointed. We might as well of cooked the rice at home. It definitely wasn't wok cooked or taste anything resembling a Chinese Fried Rice. The rice was quite wet and just tasted boiled. The prawn chips were very poor quality and totally tastless. We won't be going back.

Tried for the first time. Never again. Salt and Pepper chicken had grey/black mush inside the batter, tasted disgusting as it looks. Also had cashew chicken, chicken was strange colour and had a stranger odour. When I called the Owner to complain he said he would give me a discount on my next order, when I said I'd never go there again he hung up on me. 1 star is too many.

Got 3 Takeaway Thai dishes for an easy dinner tonight. Absolutely beautiful, big servings, friendly staff, ready in less than 10 minutes, and even some free spring rolls as a nice surprise!. Will definitely be back!!

Excellent speedy fresh Chinese unlimited feed, it will certainly leave your tummy full and a smile on your face. Delicious dinner! Highly recommend!

Stopped for a snack on the go and ordered the 3x fried dim sims, 2x potato scallops and a coke. $17 is expensive, but I though "that's the Gold Coast!" Staff were friendly, so oh well. First thing I noticed when they handed the bags of food over was the dripping oil! Jumped in the car and headed off, eating on the go. Dim sims first - not bad but EXTREMELY oily! Then the potato scallops. First one wasn't bad, but also very oily, rhen I pulled out the WORST potato scallop I've EVER seen! Don't know what happened, but why would you give this monstrosity to a customer? Will not be back!

Highland Court Chinese Restaurant is located within the Highland Park Shopping Complex.

Has a Very good menu selection. As well as a generous Lunch Specials Menu.

Had the Mixed Entree & Sweet and Sour Pork with Fried Rice.

Both were Wonderful. The Prawn Toast in the Mixed Entree was amongst the Best I’ve had.

The Fried Rice was Fabulous & the Sweet and Sour Pork was Very Good.

The Service was Friendly and Efficient.

Considering the Quality of the Food, the Value was Excellent.

The atmosphere here is very casual so don't expect anything less. Food is amazing for the buffet price and comes out quickly and hot every time. My reluctance for 5 stars is as follows: I knew I was overcharged but didn't bother arguing about it ($28 x2 plus $10 child 10 and under...he charged me $12), we ordered only 3 waters and 3 cans of pasito which definitely didn't come to an extra $30. I felt it was worth tipping the guy $50 but he just snatched it out of my hand without a second thought or thank you for my kindness (I WORKED FOR THAT MONEY MATE). My wife wants to return here but I don't think we will

We ordered takeaway two nights ago 25 January. My husband had the roast duck and I think he liked it. I ordered Kung Po Chicken but it was disappointingly bland. I've had it before, a few months ago, and it was so spicey hot I had a struggle to eat it but it was enjoyable. This time it completely lacked the chilli peppers, and I've since discovered that kung po should have peanuts. Cashews were a substitute but I missed the spiciness of the chillies. Very disappointed with my Kung Po Chicken. Tossing whether we will go back.

Beef and vegetables so bland. Beef is definitely not stir fried. Looked and tasted boiled. Had to add oyster sauce to my dish when I got home. Still was bland. $15 lunch pack not worth the money. Noodle box more value and amazing taste

Just ordered the chicken fried rice for lunch, it was a very decent serving size, could feed two adults conservatively but a really big serve for a single person WAHOOO all of the carbs and goodness for my gym session after work.

I was greeted and served with a big smile by a friendly man at the counter and it really made my day, so thank you for the delicious food and great smile and good energy, always feels nice eating somewhere that has a good positive feel to it.

The food was fresh and cooked really well, i will comment that there was a bit of pepper with the fried rice and i actually didnt mind it, it was slightly subtle but all in and all it kind of enriched the flavours and i easily demolished it single handidly.

I will definitely be back ! I hope you guys are not to hot behind the counter it was such a hot day thanks again 9.75/10

Food was disgusting. Sweet pork was over cooked. Sweet sour chicken was deep fried batterd but chicken snitzy. With small amoumt of sauce in bottom of tub. Not even enough to coat the chicken. Dim sum was big pork ball fried in batter. Would never order from here again. Satay chicken stick Was a tender and tuff. Not even my husband who eats anything would eat any of it.

The owner Teresa is an absolute wonderful lady. Her staff are greatly mannered and the food was magnificent. I held my wedding reception there of over 40 people and they tended to our every need. I couldn't have been in better hands than there's. This is definitely on everyone's must go list BEST CHINESE IN THE WORLD !

Of the 3 chinese restaurants weve tried in Nerang this one was the best so far. Staff friendly. Could maybe add a few little prawns and some veges to the special fried rice but otherwise quite nice

Had dinner before our movie Saturday night , only because our two favourite places were closed . Never been here before and never again . Order beef and oyster sauce , Malay chilli beef and sambas chicken . The two beef dishes had a horrible pungent smell , like the meat was off . I didn’t want to even try it for fear of being ill . I don’t like to say this but they actually stank ! All three dishes were identical with the same veg and cornflour slurry . Worst food I’ve come across!! I didn’t take a photo of the other meal but this is the insipid fried rice .

My first and last time eating from Asian Court. The san cho bow was semi ok except we got a tablespoon worth in each serve. The special fried rice was completely flavourless, over cooked boiled rice with a few cubes of spam and some peas, no joke. Every single dish we got looked exactly the same! I’ve definitely had enough zucchini, carrots, and cauliflower. Every dish was bland, boring, same same, the rice probably ruined the rest by making it tasteless. No love, no thought, no effort went in to the food they served. Very disappointing.

Friendly owner, tasty food, reasonable price

The place looks like a usual Asian restaurant. But the service, quality of food and the flavour makes this restaurant set itself apart. If you like a bit of spice, try their Nasi Goreng. I reckon it's the best in the state.

Very friendly staff and a great variety of vegan options! Prices are also very reasonable for the amount of food you get per meal. And as a nice bonus, they have bubble tea!

We had a rare date night and gave this place a try , very disappointed, outside says $21 we were told no vegetables have gone up so much now it’s $25 so we were ok with until apart from a broccoli head divided into 4 very small meals a slice of zucchini and two strips of cabbage the same ,no onion carrotts beans nothing , the chicken well it’s debatable it was chicken was basically just presented in three different sauces 4 crispy noodles in one rice with bacon in another the only thing we enjoyed sweet and sour pork which was nice , we didn’t like the fact we were watched by the old lady constantly coming out and looking at us made us feel very uncomfortable, we left all chicken dishes they were inedible so was the child portion of beef , dirty walls with works all over them , mould on the roof , sticky tables and floor dated furniture surprised this has not been shut down only good thing was the son at the counters manners , sadly we feel a waste of our date night , waste of $50 and we were both I’ll for 24 hours after so never again the only customers in the place on Saturday night I advised there needs to be more vegetables not just watery chicken he said they took expensive for extra he can add them ? Never again lost another customer IT IS NOT A ALL YOU CAN EAT IT IS WE WILL ONLY BRING SMALL BOWLS WHEN YOU EAT THE FIRST ONES WHILST BEING WATCHED BUY A ELDERY LADY VERY CREEPY

Decided on having chinese takeaway for the first time in years. Ordered wontons, curry puffs (vegetarian), sweet n sour pork,garlic vegetables and special fried rice.. Highlight of the meal was the garlic vegetables which got them at extra star. Got meat curry puffs instead of vegetarian. Sweet n sour sauce wasn't mixed with the pork, it was a side sauce. Further more it had 1 peice of onion and two token pieces of pineapple in the sauce. Wontons were just battered pieces of not sure what. Special fried rice was severely lacking the "special" element. All in all very disappointing and won't be back.

A$ 75.- Disappointment.
I have had allot of average to bad duck dishes but rarely uneatable ones well here is one it must have bin reheated a few times or god knows.
I Do not know how the food is at the restaurant but delivered, well judge for your self .
