It was a pleasant dining experience. The beef curry was very tasty. The food is good and the prices are low. The rice is also in good quantity. I would go there again to eat.

Purnima Restaurant impressed my taste buds with delicious Sheekh Kebab, Grill Chicken, Butter Nan, Plain Nan and Vegetable, earning a solid 4.5 stars. The only letdown was the service, a bit disappointing. Despite that, the flavors are definitely worth a visit!

Yum cha district is so good place for their food. The YCD special fried rice is so so delicious. It's highly recommended. Also thir dim sum are great. The food the service the atmosphere all are very very well
Food was good. We, friends, went there for some refreshment and food after a long time. The meal that we ordered is given in the video, and we enjoyed quality time there.
The place is still holding onto its traditions. They have almost remained unchanged over the past decade or so. The place has been maintained well, very neat and tidy and still having that old feel and ambiance. The service was prompt. Their menu is as typical as a Bengali -Chinese restaurant can get, but it's a reliable and safe menu. Although we weren't expecting any grand quality, their quality of food seems to have degraded somewhat. This is basically still a family gathering type of place, so it's convenient for any family occasions. They also have two separate floors positioned as banquet halls, if you're looking to host any event.
It's an awesome restaurant. Environment was so good to feel comfortable. Their service and food was good. Anyone can feel good for celebrating programs.
Dim sum was mouth watering however American chop suey was a big letdown.
With a roadside seating Lounge, served welcome drinks, with crispy wrapped prawn, wonton and rice platter made the luncheon complete. Special mentioning that all are in affordable prices.
Good place for formal meeting or family gatherings. The environment is quite soothing. Also the staffs behaviour are good. No complaints about the food quality. Welcome drinks and snacks are also given by them. They didn't take so long to serve the food. So overall, I would recommend this place for official or unofficial anu types of gatherings. Decent place!
This restaurant chain has been around for a while. Visited this location for the first time. Food was good as usual. Love the nostalgia factor of their dishes. Flavors are still the same after many years. Strongly recommended if you want a taste of Chinese from years ago/student life. Excellent service from staff.
For large scale program they serve low quality food. Quantity is also very low. Taste is also very bad.
Considering the expensive price, mediocre food taste and noisy environment, there are much better alternatives in Dhanmondi area.

Best Bangladeshi Chinese food in Dhaka.
A new rooftop cafe with smoking zone. The place has a natural green look. The food portions are really good. I tried out their pastas. I liked them.

A really very nice and cozy place for hangouts. The food was really very tasty..we tried their seafood fried rice and stir fry calamari. And chicken cheese wonthon . The staff are well behaved and very professional. They served us with a honey ginger tea which was also flavourful .
Food was good (typical Chinese food). Ambient was nice and clam. Only if they could serve foods earlier then now. You needs to wait around 30 min+ to get any food.
the Seafood noodles is a must try. their complimentary tea is also good, though the taste deteriorated more than before. less honey perhaps😂

Nice place. Staff behavior was good. The food was tasty. Good for family hang out. Kids zone available. The decoration is so-so. They need to improve their A/C system. They need to use fans inside the restaurant.
I did a bridal programme at Xenial, It was a small programme of 85 people, 17 of them couldn’t attend the programme. So, I did take-away for my guests. I'm sorry to say, the food that was in take-away was too small to say and the teste was not good as well. I hope the authority will pay attention to the Take-away service later on. Thanks.
we had yummy Onthon in chili oil that we liked. but the seafood soup was boring and didn't taste good. everything was really expensive, and we had to wait for more than an hour to get our food. the place was super crowded too, which wasn't great. the good dish was nice, but the bad soup, high prices, long wait, and too many people made it not so great overall.
This is the perfect example of Bangla chinese. A little bit on the pricey side as you have to pay 10% service charge apart from vat. The food was good enough. We had Special Thai soup, Beef Chilli Onion, Thai Chicken Fry, Chilli Prawn, Wonthon and Special Fried Rice. All the items were tasty. Specially the chilli Prawn. They should work on their fried chicken though. They were very hard. Overall great experience. The waiters were cordial enough and they served us a welcome drink and snacks on the house.
It is a Chinese Restaurant yet they have some bengali items.This Restaurant is not so well designed though Food quality is satisfactory!
a classic thai-chinese restaurant in Dhaka; the old style ones. food quality is satisfactory. in weekends, you should reserve a table before going there. Loved their cashew nut salad. The others who went with me were impressed with the fried chicken (deshi) snd vegetables. They offer fried chicken of both local and broiler breed. Other than cashew nut salad, I found other items nothing exceptional. But yeah, those were not bad to eat. the place remains crowded specially in weekends. Its a good place for birthday or small family programs.

Nice and cosy atmosphere, nice ambience, you feel like going there again. Food tastes very good. Price seems to be reasonable. Service of the waiters is very good. No advance booking possible. You should plan ahead of time to visit this place as usually there's a long que. Parking space is not always available.
This place used to offer one of the best chinese food of Dhaka. Unfortunately, my last visit on June'23 made me disappointed by the quality of food and the poor service that they offer.
It was super busy and fully packed as expected even on a weekday night. So, you should expect fresh food and sharp services. Unfortunately, the steam fish they served had a bad smell, it was in the freezer for long. The sauce that they serve on the table were old enough that, garlic-chilli sauce was rotten. They didn’t care to change the sauce regularly. Other foods, despite of expensive prices, were very very poor in taste. Fried rice was burnt in some parts.
Overall, a very bad experience in this price range.
Not only the service people has got old, the quality is also long gone.

Gotta be honest, we almost left because it was taking so long to get seats, but thankfully they managed seats for us just in time. We were 7 people. They don't have the option for booking in advance, it's first come first serve. Once seated, we gave our order and we were presented with complimentary teas (which apparently had unlimited refills but we didn't really go for seconds). The order took a bit of time, but the appetizers came in the nick of time. The mains soon followed. The food was really good. We were pleasantly surprised with the quantity of the mains and rice dishes. The place was pretty crowded but the overall ambiance was nice. Only thing I would've liked improvement on would perhaps be faster service and maybe a bit more dessert options. The chicken nanban is a must have. The beef dishes were also good. Be careful with the YCD special rice, it packs a big spice kick!
I felt my money and time does not go waste here. I loved the chilli oil momo most. Rest are also good. This place is very busy during pick hour. But they managed perfectly. Complementary ginger a tea was served.
The food was good , atmosphere was excellent but why 3 star ? Due to my casual dress up all the stuff was looking up to me like an alien . Their way of moves make me uncomfortable. When I passed my order to the server then they were a bit realized. Good place for dinner and pass time with family . There is a kids zone . Dishes was fresh . Quality of food was acceptable but you have to wait a long . They do not have sense of serving . I divided my order as starter and main course but they have mixed it up . Battle leaf was excellent at the end .

Worst experience ever. Not gonna spend my energy to write a review about this. Gonna finish it in one sentence" The quality of their food dropped big time".
I just loved the place! Although it may be a bit dull and boring to some, it is quite classy to me. I liked their collections of historical photographs of Dhaka! They collected those and hung them on the walls of the main hall room. Quite a rare collection I must say!

For the main course, we took 2 servings of Egg Fried rice (4:1), chicken prawn cashew nut salad, 1 serving of Thai Fried chicken and 1 serving of Bangkok style Vegetable. Both egg fried rice and chicken fries were better than average. The Cashew nut salad was also quite good! There were plenty of Nuts and Chickens. However, the vegetables were nothing special, to be honest. Overall, the amount was more than satisfying (note: we are low eaters)

I just didn't really much like the place decoration much... the food wasn't bad but not really special compared to its price. The price was expensive which I found really disappointing. This place has been serving mouthwatering Chinese food for years now and has a great reputation in Dhaka! Have been eating here since my childhood days & my o my they are still the same except for the price range which has gone up marginally but that’s okay compared to the great food they serve.The fried chicken served with local tender chickens is absolutely scrumptious & the beef chilli onion,thick thai soup are a must try if you’re a non-veg!

A nice restaurant at Road no. 27 (old) of Dhanmondi Residential Area. Moderately busy. Taste of food is good.

1. Plain Polao, Chicken Roast and Mutton Rezela was just normal. Didn't seem to be worth 800tk per plate.
2. The lamb roast was like elastic.
3. Everytime we had to request the servers to give refill. No staff from the resturant were supervising.
4. The chair covers were dirty, torn and honestly it seemd like they are from dustbin.
5. 1st floor west side hall AC is old, broken and dirty. Gives a bad look and doesn't work that well.
# On the contrary, they did a good job of decoration which had cost 60k.
# Recommendation: If you are arranging a program here, please confirm yourself about the dirty things they placed and a supervisor is present before you give booking.

This restaurant has kind of retro vibe’s. No modern interior or furnitures but this place is so soothing where you can enjoy delicious Chinese food with your close friend & family’s. Food price is reasonable. And Their behaviour also cordial. Neat & clean place.

They clean the chicken very well before cooking, so it did not had that smell. All the food were excellent and the spice was well balanced. The spice level was perfect (mild). Definitely worth the cost.
I tried a set menu from @hakkakitchen28 and really enjoyed it.

Ordered their Koral fish in garlic and pepper. The taste of the food was good, the portion size was okay. But, the dish seems costly in terms of taste and size. The packaging was good and received my order well on time. They do have a wide range of seafood items on the menu.
In one sentence the foods of this restaurant is Awesome. They have verity of food items, they offered Bangla and Chinise both food items. The evening food item of this restaurant is must try dishes. I have eaten most of the dishes of this restaurant and I am fully satisfied by their food. They have served breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning snakes, evening snakes and so on. You guys can visit here to taste all the amazing dishes here. ❤️😍😎
An old place to dine. This is a two storied restaurant, at the upper floor there are separate sitting arrangements for a group to hang out. The food is tasty and well cooked. The service is good, the inside is kept clean but the total arrangement at the upper floor can be made much better. Overall, a decent place to dine and hang out
Their food is really good specially their wrapped prawn and the sauces come with it make these yummier. Their place is not that big but overall ok. I would recommend this place.
My reception program was held there where i got great support from their stuffs. They have decorated the stage as per commitment and served the food well. It was neat and clean during the program.
Well, they have best grilled chicken we all know,but they have some other good item as well. Their chicken jhal fry and nun was very good combination, Their mango juice was quite good. But faluda need some changes, like Apple was the only ingredients, please add some other fruits too, and avoid add jelly, try to add some khirsha or cream something. Update: all the shrimp was moldy and clearly bad. Never going back. They must have had some fundamental shift in management. The quality of food is awful, definitely has gone downhill. Disappointed. Take your money elsewhere.
Food was amazing.. I went there with my family members for having dinner.. First of all, we ordered thai thick soup with chicken onthon.. To be honest, taste was delicious.. Me and my family members love that soup.. Next we ordered, Prawn sizzling, Special Fried rice and thai mixed vegetables with chickens. Those are good too..

A overall good deshi-chinese place for family gathering. In my opinion, their food is not amazing, but not bad either. Their service is amazing but the way they push people to take side salads is a bit too much. We were 3 people and we had to take the whole thing home, which could be avoided if they didn’t push us so much to order a vegetable item. Would not recommend going there if you are group of 3 or less. Even though the portion size is 1:3, if you want to try various items, the portion easily becomes 1:4~1:5 even if you are super hungry. Spacious parking space available.
A restaurant located at an advantageous position- almost at the midpoint of the Dhanmondi 27(old) no road. They serve both the chinese and bangla cuisines, as well as few indian items. Food taste is reasonably acceptable but prices are slightly on higher side.
May be the best taste with comparing value Chinese food in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Food is excellent. Environment is good with impressive interior. Have parking lot, lift and a lucrative staircase. Specially the mouth watering fried rices and sizzling items are mind blowing. Soups and other dishes are also far ahead than the average. Overall a nice package for food lovers.
Dont go there, you will regret it. Food quality is extremely low quality. Overpriced as well. Worst thing is the manager's behavior. Manager directed us to sit on a table and i said its right near the door, i would like to sit somewhere else. In response he said "well someone will sit there". Then i asked for a lighter to lit candle for the birtday cake, and he said, we dont have lighter. I would say spend your money somewhere else, not here.
Excellent place for Chinese food. Price is reasonable. Quality of the food is good. Reasonable car parking space. They also provide space and fooding arrangements for wedding programs so sometimes it can be challenging to find a space for the self driven cars.
Food was ok, neither bad nor something extraordinary. If you visit there for any party (wedding, birthday etc) and take your own car, you may face problems with parking, as their parking space is small. Ask for help from their security guards, they are quite helpful.

Very good quality tasty food. I liked all the items I tried: Mixed fruit, Fruit salad with ice-cream, Jeera pani, Lal shak and Special kala bhuna (I ordered beef). They have chicken and mutton kalabhuna as well. The kalabhuna was not like usual kalabhuna as we see. It was somewhat different and very tasty.

Cheese Wonton had no cheese in it even the filling was not that tasty.
Soup was thick and tasty with ample amount of shredded chicken, prawns, mushrooms in it. 😌😌

It is basically a two storied party palace. You can book either both or any of the floors.
Good:
1. Have enough place for parking.
2. Located just besides the main road.
3. Food quality and taste is awesome.
4. Food serving and behavior is satisfactory.
5. Apart from these, several popular banks ATM booths available nearby. Also shopping mall Rapa Plaza is just at opposite side.
Bad:
Lack of enough washroom. One for male and one for female in each floor. Though they have sufficient hand wash basins and mirrors outside. But I guess as each floor can accommodate at least 100 people. So for 100 people only 2 washroom is not convenient and a good choice.

It's a quality fast restaurant in this commercial area. Foods are different from other common fast food restaurants. In this quality they are providing food at a reasonable price.

Excellent place for a business casual meeting or social meeting. Food & service are nice. Washrooms are clean, which is a notable point. Small parking area for 2 cars & 3 motorcycles. Chinese themed restaurants have fallen out of fashion these days but this one have kept up their imagery. I would definitely recommend.
Hot Hut has always been a family favourite, and I could see why. The place is clean, their restroom is hygienic, despite it being so old. Their chowmein is great; you won't even need a side dish with it. Very flavourful for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!
Went there after a long time!! Used to visit them regularly a couple of years ago... love that they are not over crowded. But food and service is good enough to enjoy a decent meal. The price range is also reasonable compared to other restaurants in the same range.. would definitely recommend anyone who wants a bit of good food with some relaxed time..

This is a very well known and old restaurant which is situated opposite of Daffodil International University Shukrabad's Campus. This is good restaurant to hangout with friends and family. Their service is very professional as well as appreciable. Moreover, they have a big menu and varieties of food items. Foods are delicious and tasty. Their beef momo is amazing to taste. Also, it has a good good view. By the way, they can improve their interior design because it looks quite formal looks. In addition, Their have common washroom which is not so clean. And they do not have any parking space.
I went here for vegetable dinner. Found good soup, main dish. Restourant is clean itself, staff friendly, has card reader. To my surprise, food was given quite fast (in 10 min.) if to compore with other restaurants (it was not bussy when visited). In general, this is good spot for food. Prices level is average.

the food in here is awesome. their biryiani is awesome. they have good soups. momo is very tasty. you van also try thier pan pizza. tea is regular. you can also try the stake.

Wanted to spend a good family time there but it all ruined.
Bad food:
The Thai soup was rotten and a bad smell was coming out of it. On complaining, they took the soup back and cancelled the order.
The chicken fry was half cooked and garlic paste was clearly visible inside it.
In the Chicken fried Rice only 4 pcs of chicken strip was found and the ingredients were more looked like chicken polaw rather than fried rice.
Vegetable soup and vegetable curry was not tasty at all.
Only the fish item was ok though we wanted to order "Red snapper" which they couldn't provide.
Disappointing Presentation:
We ordered 3 starter items and 5 main courses. No dressing was found on any of the items. The table sheet, spoon, fork was not tidy.
Forgettable Ambience:
The first place that we sat was too cold. We changed the table and soon we started sweating 🙂
While taking a group photo, we found the wallpaper torn down.
Little/ No value for money:
We ordered 8 items where minimum price was BDT 280 and maximum price was BDT 385 but taste wise it was not value for money.
Bdt 15 worth of Bottle coke they are adding Bdt 20 as S/C to total the price Bdt 35!!
Finally I had to pay the bill in cash as their POS machine was out of order 😌
Overall it was a 360 degree negative experience and I do not wish to visit this restaurant. I only wish they put some serious efforts to provide their customers a satisfactory experience.

I liked their service. Very polite behaved. Food is also tasty. A good place for dinner with family.
