Average Udupi Hotel in Bangalore with decent service, would recommend for Breakfast. No problem other than the lack of parking spot (2 wheelers only that infront of the hotel)
Food are very hygienic and very clean well maintained hotel, plz visit this hotel .

The taste isn't great, and it's often crowded without a clear reason. The only redeeming factor is that their tea or coffee is decent. However, this place could greatly benefit from having good vegetarian restaurants. My suggestion to the owner would be to hire a skilled cook. With a great shop and considerable potential for growth, there's a high demand for a good vegetarian eatery with tasty food.

Had the worst experience today was waiting for more than half an hour just for one plate of channa batora the service is the worst they don't give first come first serve if asked the start yelling back at you, finally had to complain to the owner to get the parcel just because there is no proper hotel in the area they are behaving like this....
"At this veg restaurant, the food is simply delightful, satisfying even the most discerning palate. With ample parking available, convenience is never an issue. Whether you're craving comfort classics or innovative vegetarian fare, this spot has something for everyone."
Ordered plane Dosa .. I didn't expect it will have this much oil. They made it like a poori by dipping the batter in the oil... They are challenging ur stomach that whether u can digest without pain ..
I found a cockroach in panner butter masala which I took for parcel. Food is wasted now unhygienic 🤮 and very disappointed
It is one of the worst food there is no quality and also especially the gobi is very bad and North Indian meals are worst they really lost their legacy
Brought rava masala dosa parcel it's not good. Not that much taste but heavily crowded, mostly because of no good hotels in that area.

Worst food for vegg people
Non veg is ok

The place seems great and very nice. The food was not that good which I was expecting. I had dahi puri which was okay only, not that good to pallet.

Good place to spend with family, cost wise little higher. Food taste is good. And non veg have only few items. Just request to add more non veg foods or starters like prawn and etc in food.
One of the tastiest and best hotels, now changed to non veg, my personal fav are cylon parota, chicken curry, mutton keema.
There is service available upstairs as well I.e on the 1st floor.

We visited for the lunch buffet, the main course stole the show with everything being quite satisfying.
Couple of the food items weren't hot. Specifically, the Chinese section had cold items.Unfortunately, the desserts were a complete letdown. Some were not replenished when finished. On a positive note, the service was good, and the staff were polite.

Really good restaurant at Basavangudi. The food is tasty and delicious. I tried Baby corn Manchurian and mushroom fried rice. Both were ultimate. The only disadvantage is that there's no parking for 4 wheelers. Totally a very good restaurant and I loved it!

We went for the Durga puja special Novotel Bengali Buffet along with our office colleagues. First things first -
1. Cost per person is 1999/- +tax
2. The rate is flat with no veg only option (mostly in Kolkata it may not matter, but in Bengaluru, it might be quite an overspend for vegetarians).

The staff were very courteous and friendly. Service was super quick for the items from the live counter ( like fish fry, Luchi and Kochuri, Fuchka, jhal muri, rolls). They were helping some of my colleagues who are not Bengali to explain and decide on the items.

The food quality is very good in itself and one cannot complain anything about it. The spread was huge with a wide variety of starters featuring Mach bhaja (fried fish- catla, Rohu and Parshe), Panch bhaja (6 types- brinjal, Padwal, bitter gourd, potato and so on). There were further more starters from the bengali basket for both veg and non vegetarian like egg roll, paneer roll, chicken rolls, aloo badamer chop, beguni and so on.

In the main course, there was the Bengali favourite Luchi and Alur dom, chicken dak bungalow, mutton kosha, parshe macher jhol , chittol macher muthya, paneer, bengali 5 veg mixed veggie(Panch meshali tarkari), platter of salads, moong dal, white rice, pulao, chicken Biriyani and a host of Chinese items for both veg and nonveg (Chinese items from kolkata are quite a hype in West Bengal).
Deserts were full of bengali items like mishti doi, baked rosogolla, ledikini, chanar jalebi and many more.

Few cons to me -
1. the sweets were bit more sweet for all of us.
2. The menu changes everyday. So one may not be sure on what would be the menu on that day
3. In an authentic bengali buffet, I would expect the below items - cholar dal, prawn malaikari or shorshe, bhapa fish (bhetki), authentic bengali chicken and mutton biriyani with aloo and egg, an item on Hilsa fish (although it was available as add on with an extra payment of 500/-). So, this was bit of a miss for us.

Overall it was a good experience with few misses for us, but would have expected a bit more authentic Bengali food.

Food was good, service was good too.

I wish seating was more comfortable, and table arrangement was better. Despite many tables being empty they gave the 2 of us a small table by splitting a table for 4, and the tables are sooo close to each other that if the restaurant is full then u will feel as if you are sharing tables. No privacy at all!!

This is the third time I am visiting Udupi deluxe. I have burned my hand couple of times earlier. Thinking there will be some progress I went again.

Let me tell it is worst food. No taste. I think they are using old oil again and again.

I will not recommend going with children. Bad food.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid and I have loved it since then. A perfect place if you're looking for veg cuisines. The place has a calming ambience and good service. The manchurians here are yumm! And the lemon paneer deserves a 10/10. Loved it!

I ordered a cheese Maggie and I was served something weird (see pic). And then they are charging Rs.99/- for this. I dunno how they are running a restaurant if they don't even know how to cook a Maggie?
It's food tasted well. The juice 🥤 was presented well. Nice hotel around.

We went there for our Anniversary celebrations. It was a wonderful experience. They made our day by assisting us so well. Special thanks to Nutan, Rahul and Preeti. They also arranged a cake for us. They have huge spread of food options in starters, main course and desserts as well. Thank you so much for adding to our celebration.
This is a request to Udupi Garden restaurant manger/concerned person that please inform your Bill issuing person(the person in counter) that we coustomer pay for the food and not expecting anything for free. Because the way he communicates with the coustomers is so rude and aggressive he behaves as if we he is giving free food. Personally i really like the food in your resturant especially the taste and quality. I have been coming to your restaurant for more than 15-20 times. It's not the first time he behaving so rude have personally experienced couple of times but today i had a very shameful experience, as I asked for what do you have rice item for today he replied so ruthlessly. Infact the service staffs(Staffs who distribute the food) are way better than him in politeness and have better communication skills.

Loved the Poila Boishakh spread! The food menu was quite extensive and truly bangali. The staff even went out of their way to ensure we had a good time. When we told them that chingri maach was not on the menu, they actually arranged for it just for us. And it tasted amazing as well. :)

Poila Baisakh Mahabhoj!

A grand experience. Really impressed by the hospitality, the personalization, the humongous spread. It was an amazing experience for us. Felt like a gathering of known people, such was the courteousness of the staff. Everyone in Bengali attire.
Pallavi you deserve a special shoutout for the experience we had.
Also, Priyanka and everyone else in the team, an amazing group of staff who really put their best foot forward to make sure the guests are having a good time.

Thank you

Nice restaurant. Usually busy during breakfast and evening snacks hours. Nice food served here. Not much expensive as well. Price is worth the food. Nice atmosphere. Was almost full. Service takes around 2 to 5 minutes. There is self-service here. We can also order online on swiggy, but the cost for dishes is a little high.

It's a small cafe and we visited it for the first time on the occasion of independence day.
Ambience is okayish and good for causal hangouts with small groups.

Food taste is also good. We had ordered cheesy veg pizza, mushroom manchurian, baby corn manchurian, oreo milkshake, chocolate milk shake and brownie milk shake.

However, the most disappointing experience was to find a tiny insect cooked after we finished eating the mushroom manchurian.

Shakes except brownie milk shake were not upto the mark as compared to the price.
An authentic place and clearly a favorite among the locals. We went twice for lunch. Saturday lunch time it gets packed. There are two floors. A serviced restaurant is on the first floor. We tried tomato soup, sweet corn soup, Gobi Manchurian, bhel puri, sev puri, masala dosa, and fresh juice. They have a large menu of south and north Indian vegetarian dishes for any taste. Gobi Manchurian was my favorite, the best I've tried so far. Everything was flavorful.

Deserts are must try here. My suggestion is go to this place during weekday you will enjoy the food and service. Weekends are mostly crowded. Overall a good family restaurant.

A cozy cafe offering a wide variety of options,
North Indian, Chinese, Italian you name it!
Almost everything that we tried were tasty and some of the items were unique.

Manchurian and fries were perfect to start with, pizza even though prepared using the ready base was as good as wood fire pizza. Milkshakes were really thick, had to use a spoon to finish it off!

This place is worth stopping by if you're anywhere near Basavangudi.

Must try items
1. Rose de magic (My number 1 choice)
2. Veg Sizzler
3. Mango with cream and Ice Cream

9. Rose De Magic
10. Fresh mango with cream and ice cream

USP:
Pure Vegetarian Cafe
Special Menu every month
Wide variety of food & beverage options
Cleanly Maintained
Friendly staff and owner

Loved this place and also we enjoyed the food. Overall, we had a pretty good experience at this place.
Hotel ambience is good.
Taste is OK..
Not recommendable.
Staff behaviour is OK..
Cleanliness is moderate.
Hotel management should take care of cleanliness.
Food & service both are good. I didn’t ask the waiter’s name. His attitude was very good. He took good care & served hot & tasty food. My mother preferred for food without onion & garlic. He served Palak paneer without it. It was yummy & was liked by my mummy 😃👍🏻👏🏻

Decent restaurant to try veg food in the area ! Taste is okay and price is cheap. U don't have to wait much for the food. Dosa - Idly is good but sambhar is bad because it's sweet in taste !

Good South Indian dishes available.
Idly sambar is tasty 😋 and nice coffee ☕️
Masala dosa and rice bath are also good. Pocket friendly, do visit the place.
Decent place and seatings is good, self service and it’s just open to the main road so when traffic piles up it’s bit dusty(they have dust covering as well)
Over all good to visit.

Stopped by to take a parcel. Bought Masala Dosa ₹50. It was quite filling and very well made. The potato palya inside was again generous portion. Chutney was okay and they even gave Sambar which was a bonus. So All in all , it was worth it.
The Restaurant ambience was good...spacious. Nice wall decorations . Parking for few vehicles available in front of restaurant .
Good place to grab a bite for people on the go .

Very bad quality of food. Who put green color in noodles? Not only the sight of food, taste was also below average. I ordered noodles from them through Zomato and it was my worst experience ever. I clearly mentioned in order instructions that there should be no mushroom, even then they didn't follow. Few days back I ordered Kadai Paneer and butter naan from them and same thing happened. They give same paneer sabzi to any kind of paneer you order. Naan were cold with a cube of butter pressed between them.

This was closed at 3 pm on a Wednesday. This is a college canteen why is it listed as a public cafeteria?
They provide good food in reasonable rates. If you're in the area, you can check it out. The food is tasty and the service was prompt. Only thing I felt was the curry might contain artificial colors. My fingers were red long after I washed them. It is not a place intended to have a dining experience, more of a have a meal kind of place. All things considered, dining with them had a happy ending.
Very good hotel for lunch..tasty and delicious dishes. Try with chicken sukka.
One of the old restaurant in Jaynagar 4th block. Post re-opening the restaurant the taste was not that great infact Bad!! Menu got changes and some famous dishes like Steved rice and other food items are disappeared from the menu!!! Looks like new inexperienced management has come in to run this restaurant! Good Luck!!!

This is a small quaint cafe in Basavanagudi. They have 4 tables in all. Cards not accepted, only cash and paytm. Did not expect much from this place but I was surprised. Whatever you order is in desi style but is tasty and fresh. The staff is cordial . All in all it was a good experience.
Food tastes great. Ingredients don't seem to be compromised. The so called chefs wash there hands every time they give the final touch to the food being served. Known for the North Indian part of the menu, especially Pav Bhaji. This was one of the first restaurants in this part of the town with North Indian delicacies.

However, the food is prepare to a large extent, centrally and distributed to the branches. So, freshness is definitely a question that goes unanswered.
