Sound Explosion provided string lights for our wedding reception. The lights were beautiful and the setup & breakdown service was timely and professional. Highly recommended!

Mike performed as a DJ for our wedding reception and was a pleasure to work with. His easygoing nature made the process of booking, planning and executing painless and he took great efforts to go the extra mile. We were particularly impressed with the small, but important details he thought of and smoothed over, taking a lot of work out of our hands. We put together an eclectic list of songs to include, and Mike did a great job arranging and filling out the setlist in a way that made musical sense, provided dynamics and most importantly, was fun and got people dancing. We would not hesitate to hire Mike/Sound Explosion again and feel confident knowing he will do an amazing job.

My wife and I could not have found a better event group for our wedding on April 23rd, 2023.

Eric and his team set up beautiful bistro lighting in our venue that truly set the mood for our rustic-themed wedding. The photobooth was a great addition that was fun and memorable for our guests. The photobooth had an attendant throughout our whole event who was also fun and cool to our guests! Last but not least, DJ Mike, who absolutely killed it! He had everyone on the dance floor! We especially appreciate that they were able to accommodate for our Filipino crowd when we did some Line Dancing. Eric and his team also worked with our specially choreographed Grand Entrance. They even helped with a surprise flash-mob for the bride!

Our wedding truly would not have been as perfect as it was if it weren’t for Eric and his team! Everything we needed from them was set up before the wedding which gave us some peace of mind among the chaos of wedding planning. We could not be more satisfied as customers! We had the absolute best experience this past weekend with Unique Event Productions. They were the dj for my sons 1st birthday party and were outstanding. They kept the kids entertained the entire party and they all had such a blast. Our guests had such rave reviews and had such a great time. Our cousin ended up booking them as well for their upcoming party and we can’t wait to get to enjoy them again!

My husband and I wanted our wedding reception to be a dance party reminiscent of our college days (for me, specifically at the University of Michigan), and let me tell you, DJ GREG DELIVERED!!!! The playlist was so good that people didn't want to leave the dance floor! Greg took care of the whole event from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, and everything was so flawless. He made professional announcements, brought the energy, and was such a delight to work with. Hire him for your event ASAP people!!!

We hired Greg and his company for our wedding day 1/13. They were incredible. He listened to all of our requests. The dance floor was packed all night!!! Everyone is telling us how much they loved the music as we keep getting texts from people. Do not hesitate to hire them for your events!

Greg dj’ed my party recently and he did not disappoint. Everyone was on the dance floor. After the party numerous people made it a point to contact me and say how great the dj was. Greg played a huge role in making our party as good as it was. I will recommend him 100% he was very professional and a great MC.

We were initially skeptical about hiring a DJ for our wedding reception, but the event coordinator strongly encouraged us to book their preferred vendor, Sound Explosion. This was possibly the best decision we made in the entire wedding planning process. Mike was fantastic throughout the night. He got a sense of what we were going for and executed it well. He read the room well and kept people on the dance floor all evening. Guests also loved the photobooth we booked through them as well! Highly recommended.

BOOK! BOOK! BOOK! MIKE was amazing! With any party you want people to dance and have a good time and Mike did not disappoint! All our guests had the best time at our event. During my dad’s speech he mentioned a song we grew up with, and at the end of the night Mike played it!! Wow, what a wonderful surprise. He was easy to work with and listened to our song suggestions (I kept our list to about 10 songs, so he could go off the vibe of the room.) And boy did he read the room, if one song wasn’t working for a certain generation he’d transition or blended into the next song. He is wonderful! Easy to work with and enjoys what he does!

The best advice I got as a bride was to hire people you trust and let them do their job! Steven and sound explosion defined this perfectly. While I second guessed just about all of my decisions, Steven worked with us to give us the exact party we wanted. From scheduling to lights, everything was perfect. I think it’s also worth noting how well he worked with our venue and maitre d to make sure the whole event ran smoothly. We literally had to worry about nothing. There were a few last minute details to work out and Steven took care of everything. After watching our wedding video, we had even further appreciation for how incredible Steven was. He kept the energy up, people on the dance floor and read the crowd expertly.
To us, music was in the top three most important decisions and we absolutely made the right choice with Steven and Sound Explosion.

Unique Event Productions was awesome & truly completed our special day! They were professional and took all of our requests into consideration. I would recommend this company to anyone hosting a special event who wants their guests to have an incredible time. We also rented the mirror photo booth which was beautiful and so much fun for our guests. We included a tv to play photos on which gave the party a personalized touch. Greg, you are awesome and we thank you so much for being a part of our day!!

We hired Unique Event Productions for my bridal shower last month and we are so happy we did ! We had four other dates booked with Greg because they kept having to get postponed, and each time he was super accommodating to booking a new date. I had a few music requests that I had sent a few days before that were all played throughout the day, which I was thankful for! I’ve been to a few parties where they hired Unique, and Greg knows just the right music to play to get the guests out of their seat and never wanting to leave the dance floor. Our guests are still raving about the amazing job Greg did and our dance floor was never empty ! I highly recommend choosing Unique for your next party or event! 10/10

I hired Greg at Unique for my engagement party in September 2019 and again for my bridal shower in April 2021. Both times he was professional, timely, and amazing at getting everyone on the dance floor! Our guests were raving the whole time (which is why I hired him again almost two years later)! This was absolutely the best decision we made for our entire wedding. Mike MC-ed and he had a DJ who totally killed it. Our guest's ages ranged from 30-70 and they managed to get everyone on the dance floor throughout the night.
We asked for more of the 90s hip-hop dance type music, with a couple of Latin songs if the crowd was feeling it and they totally nailed it. They were even able to cut up a song and play a verse of a friend's song as a surprise to him. Mike was always there at the right time and seemed to always know what to do in order to change the vibe to what it needed to be. We got of tons texts and emails raving about them after the wedding!
We also rented a photo booth through them (TheVotoBooth) and everything seemed to have gone well it. We got some really funny pictures of our guest. The designer was very flexible and patient with our changes.

Platinum Entertainment is amazing!!!! I will us3 them again and again! They helped me so much with my wedding. It was an amazing night because of them. I put all my trust in them, and they made sure everything ran smoothly. All my guest absolutely loved them!!! Gary was great! He was there for us every step of the way. He treated us like family. He really listened and understood us. It was also great seeing Anthony at our wedding. You can see how they really are passionate about what they do. And really know how to get any crowd going. I highly recommend this company. I know I will be using them for all my events.

Platinum Entertainments D.J.s were at my sisters wedding in N.J. There are not words to describe the professionalism that Platinum displayed at my sisters wedding party! Platinum might be by far the best wedding disc jockeys in New jersey or NYC, they had all the guests dancing and having fun.
