Took my 270 sundancer in for a few issues.
I told them I wanted to keep the boat and wanted quite a few things looked into. These guys far exceeded my expectations! Everything from windlass to trim tabs, they nailed every issue and more. Happy to call them again! They don't work for free, but when it comes out, the boat is done right and you can tell they care. Thanks again bros!!

Absolutely terrible place to bring your boat. They will work on your boat and wait till the bill gets to about 1k and then tell ask you if you want to spend anymore money (the boat is a 1990 spectrum). Will continue to spend your money with no result. I took my boat there months ago for them to look at ir and 3 times they told me it was done, 3 times I paid that expensive bill and 3 times I was stranded on the river with it. This is not the place to take your boat. Then after all this they said they would look at it one more time and I got no response for weeks so I called and was promised a call back. I did not get a call back so I decided after a month of waiting for a call I would just go get my boat and be done with it. Hooked it up and went over it only to find gallons of water sitting on my cover, which caused a giant water spot on my custom cover which shows they did not move it or work on it for a while. Then the buttons weren't snapped on the back so water was just coming right onto the floor, opened the cover to see how much water just to see all my cushions and motor cover tossed all around and a dirty wet floor. Most un professional place I have ever been to and If you are considering taking your boat here, don't! Terrible to work with and they will just take your money with no results. Absolutely horrible what they did and now they are richer and I have nothing to show for it. Absolutely disgusting.

I had some engine trouble at lake city mid-journey and James from Marine Center was able to get to me first thing the next morning. He was able to diagnose the problem and get me back up in running within an hour. I can't say enough good things about my experience with this company.

We recently had The Marine Center re-wire our pontoon trailer. In the process of bringing the boat up to the cities, the entire light housing for the back left side of the trailer just fell out. I messaged my frustration to them as this could have caused an accident. Not even a text back to us in the past 3 weeks?
They may be nice guys, but I think they could have at least shown a little concern about their work.

Marine Center is a treasure for the boaters of Lake City. I cruise and race almost every weekend, and it is great to have a dependable honest service center for boats so close to the marina. I have enlisted their help on a couple projects each year for the last 3 years, and every experience has been great. Boating can be expensive, but Marine Center is fair and offers expertise that is invaluable. Keep up the great work.

I've worked with Jim and the Marine Center for five years. He is impeccably fair and honest in his pricing. If he can do the work he'll tell you and tell you when, he'll also let you know if you could handle it more easily and help you figure out how. There is always miscommunication working with boats, the weather and distance, but Jim and his team will find a good solution at a fair price.

What a Vacation Saver! We were in Lake City with our whole family and the 350mag MerCruiser in our 24 foot Bowrider was really acting up. We arrived on Wednesday July 21st and it progressively was getting worse. Friday, we called around to try and find a boat shop to help with no luck until I spoke with James at Marine Center on Late Friday afternoon. James correctly repaired some fairly extensive issues Saturday Morning with the boat on the water in the harbor! Fantastic friendly service and the boat ran perfect after that! Other places would not have gotten to it for probably 3 weeks and that includes our place at home. Thank you So Much Marine Center and James!

The worst service I've ever received in over 50 yrs of boating. Not only did he not fix my problem (cables) but seemed to have no idea how to. Only thing I saw was a desire to add more to the bill. He not only broke a part on my outboard but said it was not needed and gave me the pieces. He did not finish the job - left loose fittings on lower unit that could have actually caused an accident by loosing the ability to shift out of or into gear. Cut off zip ties holding cables and never replaced - just left hanging. Never will go back and would never recommend this place.
