The best Colombian sazón I’ve had in Tampa so far! Authentic Colombian food with excellent quality and plenty of options. We tried the chicken pasta soup and the grilled chicken breast, both served with two sides—we chose plantains and beans, and they were absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try the bandeja paisa! We also ordered empanadas as appetizers, and we loved them.
The service was excellent; they truly care about their customers and made me feel like I was in Colombia.
I was pleasantly surprised to see they offer Colombian beer—not just Club Colombia but also Águila and Poker.
The prices were very reasonable, with generous portions and great quality.
I hope this place continues to grow!

I'm in town for work and this has been one of the best meals I've had since being in the Tampa area!! Delicious!!!
A tiny little place with big flavor. Went there recently with a friend for lunch and everyone was friendly and the food was delicious. Not the easiest options there for a vegetarian and probably none for a vegan but otherwise there are a ton of options.

The food was good although the empanada was overly cooked. I was not aware until I saw the bill that they automatically charge tip for a table of 4 or more. I still got charged even if it was only me and my wife. I was charged tip twice since the owner had to adjust the price of the bill.
The service is wonderful. Google had brought me here on my search for the best pupusas in Tampa but this is a Colombian restaurant and the closest thing they offer is Arepa, a cornbread pancake topped with cheese. A bit too sweet for my taste but the two sauces that I received were full of flavor. Definitely a place worthwhile trying.

Good Colombian food, what i had was a dish called "arroz con pollo" it comes with fried rice mixed with chicken, a salad , beans and fried plantains, However i requested to replace fried plantains with fried cassava. Staff is very friendly.

Crunchy rice, one piece of Yuca and tough,, chewy ribs. 15 yr customer that has watched a steady decline in product and service. Servers pick small portions and seem in a rush. Our 2 servers were so distracted by a gentleman that came in behind us, that they forgot to put a couple of items in our order. Higher prices,smaller portions seems to be the norm. We wondered why there were no customers in the establishment at 7 30ish on a week night..🤔🤔😔😔.. #bringbackthequality..

Amazing Ariana kind and generous made our dining experience absolutely memorable. Only problem, they don’t have one in LA. We would frequent this place absolutely if in California. The food is amazing and authentic , service prompt, music melodic and apropos and they are all about customer satisfaction. Daniel was also a great server with attention to detail and integrity. I would give them 10 ⭐️’s.
Came here with a group of work friends. The food is below average in my opinion but the service was really good. Ambiance is typical chain restaurant type of vibe. I ordered a margarita and it was not good. The mix just tasted off. The tacos kinda felt mushy to me. Just wasn’t really a fan. The guac was the best part about the meal

Years ago my husband read an article in the Tampa Tribune about the great food at La Lechonera. We went there and enjoyed the cafeteria style and the Latina food. Very tasty and flavorful. We came several times a year when we were in that area of Tampa. Now I come by myself because I really like the food. And the pricing is very reasonable. Today I ordered the Beef Stew with vegetables and yellow rice with peas. Also red beans and my favorite Plantains. I took half of it home and most likely it will be my Thanksgiving Meal tomorrow! Great Job and Great Food La Lechonera!
The food was really good. I highly recommend the table side guacamole. Chips were hot and fresh. The steak quesadillas wasn’t the best I’ve had but it was good. The highlight was the divorce margarita. My server Alex and the manager Fabrisio were very nice and friendly. They have a great patio that’s dog friendly. Will go back.
I will NEVER come to this place. I’m not sure if they are prejudiced or what. But we were there waiting for them to take our order for more than 30 minutes! Poor service. Everybody else after me and my wife was attended BEFORE us. This type of managing is bad for business. Never again.

We did have a bit of a problem with the service but the manager came out on her own and quickly made things right. Probably the best manager I've spoken with at any restaurant ever. Great job on keeping your customers happy. Can't wait to try more dishes at Besito in the future.

We had my birthday dinner here with my family. The restaurant is beautiful, love the decor. The food was authentic and the table side guacamole was the best I’ve ever had. The staff was awesome but at times they seemed to be too busy to come around even though it was not a packed restaurant. The music was way too loud, even the waitress complained. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend.
It's actually disgraceful for this place to call itself Lechonera. The pork is literally all bones and fat. The plantains were hard as a rock, the complete opposite of ripe. The rice smelled and tasted like fish. When I opened my plate, I have never felt so disgusted by food in my entire life 🤢

Spain Restaurant and Toma Bar is an absolute gem in downtown Tampa! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy meal or a lively night out. The highlight of our dining experience was definitely the croquetas de jamón - they were heavenly! Each bite was a burst of flavor that left us craving for more. The attention to detail in every dish is truly commendable. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience. Also they only accept reservations as it’s a small place. We can't wait to return and explore more of their tantalizing menu. Highly recommended!"
Love the atmosphere. The pickled green bananas (Gineos con escabeche) were to die for. Even though the pickled green bananas were well seasoned the meat was not. I tried two different chickens and both lacked that latin flavor I know and love.
Phenomenal shop to enjoy some delicious Cuban food. It was constantly busy but the service was impeccable, they made you feel at home and the food was amazing. The prices are beyond fair and I'll definitely be back.

So I'm homeless and the wonderful people the work at this fine astablishment have been feeding me for about 3 years now. The whole place is filled with love and amazing food!!! Why wouldn't you want to experience this wonderful heartwarming restaurant for your self? They have helped me tremendously. And always do it with love and care. You don't have a good reason not to go and enjoy the food and coffee and give those wonderful human beings great tips and great reviews because of the greatness they spread to others less fortunate

First, they have a variety of food, but they need to clean the area where they keep the food. Rice tastes like the rice that you bought at the store to ake on the microwave, no flavor at all. Bought two pounds of morcilla that I threw it away because it taste like it was there for weeks, with no taste at all. In other words, I lost $55 on food that wasn't good at all.
Found this place by accident and I’m glad I did. Went to the area to get lunch from a different cafeteria, but when I got there it was closed. Did a quick search and found Mambos and decided to give it a shot. They had ready made food on the steam table that looked good but I got their Cuban and it was fantastic. Definitely one of the best I’ve had in a min. If you’re in the area, check them out!

By far the best Mexican food ever. The flavor and seasoning was perfect! I eat out alot and this is hands down the best food I have ever had. The bartender Sebastian made our drinks with lots of love.

Came here to eat lunch with my dad so I can have a taste of Monfongo, since where I live now has no good Puerto Rican spots. I really enjoyed all the food we had here and the Mofongo was great, I just wish the plantains used to make it were a littleeee bit softer. The food was pretty pricey, i paid almost 17 dollars for mofongo. But hey it's Tampa where are things not going to be pricey. It's a great spot regardless.

The food is authentic and delicious, Jose took the time to explain every dish and even made amazing suggestions for us to try. Please come hungry and open to try the fun tapas and delicious drinks. True staple and gem in Tampa for awesome Cuban sandwiches and bread! The Obama Cuban is a must have with every visit. Although there’s usually a wait and it can be chaotic, the staff is very kind and ensures a good dining experience!

This is a very good down home Spanish Cafe. This is one of those hidden gems if you have a taste for some authentic Spanish food. We had some friends to help navigate the menu. I love the full flavor without the salty taste. The dessert were also excellent. I definitely recommend La Lechonera.
I don’t I understand how they’re going to charge me even $10 for lunch that come with only three pieces of meat, three small pieces of meat they are robbing people. Also, their food is not good at all. Please do not go to the restaurant you are going to regret and you were going to lose your money.

Very wonderful food, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the environment was very clean you could say, the place did not smell bad at all. Their orange juice is not processed like most drinks, they use actual clean oranges, the place definitely needs to expand so 5 stars definitely fits them.
OH MY ! I was so excited that I found a place with good Hispanic food in Tampa. HOWEVER!, the first time I ate from here I got really bad food poisoning but didn't think anything of it. When I bought for the second time I noticed I got very sick hours later AGAIN.

We sat outside because all tables inside were reserved. Because we sat outside everything took extra long, from waiting to order drinks, to getting them to ordering food and receiving them. Also sad was that by the time to food got to us outside it wasn't hot anymore and also our 4 plates also didn't came all together. And one order was wrong. It was a nice evening to sit outside but feeling a bit forgotten put a damper on the whole evening
This is a great restaurant to go to for Colombian food. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. They also have a bakery for desserts. They have wine, Columbian beer, and various juices. Traditional music is playing, and the service is very friendly.
Best Cuban Sandwich in Tampa hands down. Best atmosphere and staff too, every time you go there you'll be treated like family. Love this place.
We come here all the time, food is cheap and delicious, and they give you a massive serving (get the large plate and it lasts me 2-3 meals). Pork, pepper steak, moro rice, and mongu are my favorites. The ladies are always really nice in there too :)
We came on a Saturday night when there was live music, the guys were super talented. The happy hour sangria was perfect and the food was very fresh. Service was fast and the staff was very friendly. We will for sure come back again 💃

Food was okay. Chicken was dry and the customer service sucked! I went in with my father and we told multiple females that were working today 05/04/2023 at 12:15pm that it was our first time here in English and Spanish and in yet they kept skipping my father and I multiple times until I had to bring it to someone's attention that nobody finished filling his to go box they only put rice in it and set it down then continued to skip him three times until I had to say something. Y'all need to pay attention better and come up with a better system to be organized because it just wasn't it today.
I love this place, the owner is outstanding. They open very early making it easy to grab a hot breakfast before school or work. This is my #1 breakfast spot in Tampa.
I've lived in the Tampa Bay area since I was 16 years old. Today I would be allowed to join one of those old people's organizations and refuse to acknowledge that I passed a certain age. What am I trying to tell you? I've been around Tampa for a long time and this has been my first visit here. This place lives up to West Tampa Motif. It is a simple place where people come to have a simple meal. I brought some friends over. One of them had a Cuban sandwich. It was his first experience and he was pleased with the experience. My other friend said she's heard of ropa vieja but always wanted to try it. Again, she was pleased. My spouse had the same thing and she had hers with moros which is rice and black beans cooked together. The one thing I would discourage you from having was El caldo gallego which is white bean soup. I would visit this place again. I encourage you to try this place out to see if you would have a good experience like we did.

Great place to eat. We had a little of everything on the menus between the 4 of us. It was a very busy night and our server stayed on top of our table the entire time we were there. Since it was Friday night they had live music, which was one of the reasons we went there. The small band was fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised when I could still chat with the other couple that joined us with ease and still enjoy the live music. One of my biggest issues at dining establishments is the music volume. I come there to be social and eat not go to a concert. This was not at all the case here. I would highly recommend that you stop in the next time you are in Tampa. Better yet make a special trip. You won’t be disappointed
Visiting my brother in Tampa Florida came across this Restaurant/ club, What I like the most about this place is that I notice a lot of security. They were screening people getting in and there were security guards inside as well. Making sure nobody gets out of behavior. The decoration of the place gives such a great atmosphere for great entertainment at night. The music volume was perfect. As soon as you step in your body starts moving, everybody is pretty friendly with everyone else. I didn't go to the restaurant next door but it's also attached to the place as I noticed. This was my first time there and I really enjoyed the little bit of time that I spent there.
I noticed the place was pretty clean. There is plenty of parking and it is well lit.
I will definitely try again if I'm visiting and I will recommend it to everyone who loves music and dancing to pay a visit.

If I could leave a ZERO star review I would . Because the customer service at this location is disgusting . The owner or “man” who operates this business is the lowest and nastiest person I have met thus far . I would NOT reccomend this place to anyone ! They need to remodel a lot it’s old there’s mold it’s overall DISGUSTING . Their speacials are nothing speacial at all , and you would definetly get better food at TACO BELL compared to here . Not much to say here, 5 star Spanish restaurant, if you are looking for that type of Spanish food where it's like mom/abuela made it, this it. Not a commercial over the top spot. It's very humble family type vibe. Really good for a Spanish lunch fix or take home dinner fix. Not a sit down for a date type place, there's other higher scale ones for that vibe. Definitely worth the $9 or so you will spend on your meal for sure! 5 stars easy though, better than any Spanish restaurant on this level.

Very delicious breakfast for under 6$. Came out quick, food was super hot and fresh. The potato's "home fries" were not your typical breakfast side, these potatoes were soft and seasoned to perfection with tiny bits of crispy onion. The two textures were amazing together. Eggs came out amazing, usually when you get fried eggs and ask for over medium, you get eggs that are way too runny. But these were cooked just right, no runny whites and some of the yolk cooked but some still runny. Sausage was crispy and very tasty, went very well with the rest of the food. Last but not least the Cuban toast was excellent, toasted and very soft, warm and full of butter. My mom's omelette was full of veggies, and meat, and looked very yummy. I would definitely recommend coming here to get some breakfast or lunch 💕 authentic and great prices.
Husband enjoyed his beef soup, I ordered skirt steak with chimichurri sauce as is on menu and was disappointed my steak arrived with no sauce at all, unfortunately there seem to have been a accident in the kitchen and it all spilled but wish they would have informed me before serving me a steak that calls for that sauce on top and be so disappointed.
Had the baked chicken it tasted old. Have eaten here many times. But the last couple of times. The food wasn't as good. I couldn't eat the picadillo it didn't taste good. I'm hoping the cook is on vacation. I'll try them again because I've eaten there for so long and it was always good.

Still love this place! Loved it! The food was amazing. I loved every bite. I had the yellow rice, red beans and beef stew. They also had cabbage and red onions... oh wow! I'm impressed!keep up the great job on the wonderful food! If you like Spanish food, this is the place to go!
