I've come here a couple times. Price is what you'd expect for the area at about $35 per person. Food is decent although one visit I did feel the sushi rice was underseasoned. Fish is fresh and delicious. Their salmon skin sushi roll has the pieces individually fried which tastes amazing, although it does take some time to throw it together given the labor involved. The tobiko was good but it looks worse to serve it on a Tostitos rather than a tiny dish somehow, since the quality of the roe would be diminished by the chip in my opinion. Miso soup and edamame were also great. Our waitresses were very attentive and kind. It's always been quiet when we have gone. Space is intimate - could use a bit more lighting but otherwise nice and cozy. They also serve warm sake with the meal if you would like it.

Had great time here at Sushi Palace. The are lots of options with all you can eat. Better tasting compared to other few sushi places around this area. Great price point of $29.95 regardless of weekday or weekend. Highly recommended.

The food in Yahao restaurant is top notch and the service is amazing. My wife, son and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Yahao. 5 stars and highly recommended. We will definitely go back.

Excellent Asian cuisine in an eclectic, casual ambiance and the variety of food is quite tasty as well. Their service is amazing and the sushi is really fresh. The staff were great and wasn't as busy for dinner.

Since the new owners took over the food is BAD. I think they’re just not getting enough traffic to keep everything fresh, especially with such a huge menu. It’s a shame, because everyone who works there is so nice. But the food is just not good anymore.

This place is a little gem, excellent authentic Mainland Chinese food with a pretty decent atmosphere. I do wish they had lunch specials though.

My friend and I recently dined at Yahao Asian Cuisine. We started with warm green tea and hot sake, accompanied by a mix of appetizers. The crispy calamari was a bit too crunchy, but the beef nagamaki was a delightful surprise. The dumplings, and especially tuna tortilla pizza from the sushi bar were also enjoyable. We opted for the Yahao Poke Bowl for our main course, appreciating the customizable ingredients, though the rice had cooled by the time we finished our appetizers.
Our waiter, Danny, was attentive and knowledgeable, promptly providing forks and refilling our tea. For dessert, the chocolate and green tea ice cream were highlights. However, the lack of nearby parking (requiring a 10-minute walk) was inconvenient. The staff’s noise while measuring for a room divider proved distracting, and we found the table a bit sticky with insufficient napkins.
Despite these drawbacks, the positive aspects, including the delicious dishes, good company, and pleasant music, contribute to an overall rating of 4 out of 5 for our experience.

The Wok Ginger Shrimps is so good! Extra large shrimps taste fresh and that’s surprisingly good with the source. (Compared to most restaurants only serving frozen shrimps that’s tasteless.) My parents only like cantonese cuisine and they actually like the food here. That’s rare. We ordered lettuce wraps, avocado salad, crispy duck and sushi rolls. Good food and generous portions.

10/10 recommended definitely will come again

We ordered take out last night. Food was great but can't comment on the service and atmosphere. Crispy rice was good, just was cold by the time we got to it. Our fault though.. Rolls and noodles were on point.
Overall would come back. Especially to dine in and have it fresher

Unfortunately I had a dead roach in my food! This is the most disgusting thing I’ve have yet to experience. To make matters worse the employees weren’t even apologetic.

Literally found a roach in our cup when we ordered canned cokes.
Felt so sick and upset so we asked for the manager but the owner came. Not a single apology and he just kept trying to take our cup away. During the midst of all this, our entree arrived and we didn't want to eat it obviously. The owner’s response to that: "do what you gotta do." So I’ll do what I gotta do and at least warn others before they think about eating here.

I had a delightful experience at Wild Ginger in Great Neck, NY, on a Thursday evening. Reuniting with a friend, we began with a glass of white zinfandel before savoring the honey back ribs. Wok-grilled garlic shrimp with brown rice was my main course. My friend opted for the sliced flank steak basil with white rice. The portions were generous, prompting us to share. Our dessert, tiramisu, was a perfect ending. Our attentive waitress, Jenny, catered to our every need, and the bill for this wonderful meal amounted to around $100. This exceptional experience leaves us eager to return for more.
The restaurant’s ambiance is perfect for catching up with friends or celebrating special occasions. I highly recommend Wild Ginger for its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere.
Don’t worry about parking: ample parking spaces are right in front of the restaurant.

Went to this place with friends and very like the environment. Service was great and food was fast and nice. Price is also very cheap, just $29.95 per person. Also have free parking lot around the area. Very recommended for family and friends to eat together!

My friends who live in Flushing, Queens take their family here every week and they brought me here last night during my NYC trip. Great Asian fusion, a bit of each cuisine and not the typical Chinese food that might be too greasy and too salty for some non-Chinese Asians. The Peking duck is a must try. We were a group of 11 people, so we ordered a lot of things from red Thai curry to Thai fried rice to stirred noodle to deep fried crab, everything was great and the portions were very generous (we had 3 to go boxes). We did not drink or have dessert so I am not commenting on that. The decoration is good.

It could be a bit pricey for some (I did not pay but my friend said it was on the affordable side locally). The women’s washroom ran out of toilet paper. Staff was extremely polite.

Food came quick. Photos looked good. Interior looked good too. Affordable price. Was starving, Ordered on UberEats and found a dead bug on the edamame. No hate or dislike to the restaurant, just mentioning for better precautions towards staff.

I've been going to Sushi Palace on and off for well over a decade, it's always been just OK on a good day to not so good on a bad day.
I've recently started going back there and this place must be under new management.
The Sushi has been absolutely spectacular and I've been going pretty much every week for the past couple of months!
This went from a mediocre AYCE Sushi joint to what is currently my favorite Sushi Restaurant in general!

Great restaurant. Lovely people. Amazing service. Sushi good. I really enjoyed my time here at Wild Ginger in Great Neck, Long Island. It was splendid. The food however was my least favorite thing, I got something sweet, which was on me. The sushi however was good.

There’s a huge parking lot available and the restaurant is pretty nice in the inside. I had a good time.

Ask for four different things on the menu none of them existed. You have to order today and pick it up tomorrow

My mom and I came here after a gentleman saw us standing outside contemplating whether or not we should come in. He stopped on his way in stating "If you're debating, it is very good and worth a try. I work right down the street and I love it." That made our decision, and boy was he right. My mom got the Thai Basil Chicken and I, the Chicken with Broccoli. The food was well flavored and the rice had the perfect texture. We are definitely going to stop again, I am so thankful for a stranger's suggestion.

This is my local go to wherever I want Asian Fusion and it satisfies everyone in the group. Best dish is the Chilean Sea Bass as always. The favorite in my clan. This visit, I opted for sushi and enjoyed the meal. Portion was satisfying as it was the sushi sashimi combo. Green Tea is great and I liked the Fig and Lychee Martini I got. Great cocktails here every time. Sadly during Covid they are not as busy as before but pre-covid, it was packed! Do patronize your local restaurants if you want them to succeed.

A very nice sushi buffet that is fairly priced. There’s plenty of options to choose from ranging from sashimi, appetizers, soups and noodles, and sushi rolls. The desserts are great as well. Service is great and quick. Parking is available outside in the back. Bathroom is available. I would come again if I’m in the area.

The service there is awesome, together with employees being very pleasant and helpful. They also have great food. I would definitely recommend eating here if you're considering. 10/10 would definitely go there again

Updated review after coming here a second time within a week period.

Went here twice during different days of the week and different times, once during the week for a late lunch and once on a Friday night during higher customer volume during dinner hours.

So, I just have a couple of things to say.

1. The price for the all-you-can-eat option is reasonable in terms of Great Neck. 2 to 3 people seems like an ideal amount of people to go here.

2. Sushi is fresh.

3. Not a comfortable dining experience.
A. Not greeted, nor left with with a friendly response from the restaurant host.
B. There seems to be pushiness to eat and leave, whether it is when no one is there or during dinner hours when people want to enjoy longer meals. The check wallet was thrown onto our table without much of any spoken word to let us know.
C. There is no mindful eye on patrons, which happened to me and other tables I witnessed, in regards to offering more drinks or refilling water. My friends and I, who had our phones down, hands on the table, and looking around did not receive immediate attention.
D. Waiters are consistently dismissive, whether you call out to them or hold up your hand for service. It's very embarrassing and rude. Took very long to actually leave the restaurant because of the inattentiveness.

4. Food very oily, including the gyoza. Disappointed in the taste. Also, the "mushroom soup" was, to put it lightly, also a disappointment (see photos)

5. Even though both times my experience was a party of 2, we tipped 20% the first time and 15% the second time, as a courtesy according to their receipt.

I personally will not be coming here again. This is not the kind of service I expected, especially during dinner hours. Will be looking into other restaurants within the town of similar cuisine.

I just came across this restaurant a few weeks ago and have been coming back regularly. The taste is great and ingredients fresh! This has become one of my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood!

The food here is really good, especially for the price. I've come here on many occasions for lunch and dinner. I usually give the food a 5/5, but yesterday's food was a little subpar compared to the normal. As usual, the entrees were great; however, the appetizers and rolls were not that good. Quite possible they were having am off day, so I still highly recommend.

Don’t overlook this place. Despite its small, cozy atmosphere, this place is good! Nice, comfy chairs and good staff. Definitely recommend coming to this place for some authentic Chinese food. This place is one of the best Chinese restaurants in town!
