Extremely good and authentic Thai food. I've been to Thailand once 10 years ago, and the taste of the red curry here immediately dragged me into the delicious memories. Both the chicken satay and the beef in red curry was very tender. Price is premium, but worth it. Would highly recommend the red curry

I ordered the lunch set of 1 starter+1 main,which was reasonably priced.
The pork rib was well cooked and very tasty. Not at all spicy for those who are not used to spicy.
I had the beef with white fragrance jasmine rice. The beef is very tender and very nice. Very well cooked and very tasty. It came piping hot, right from the wok I supposed.
A little spicy though for those who are not that adventurous.
I recommend those who are looking for delicious Thai food to try out this restaurant.

Food is good for an easy quick meal. Big portions but the flavour is not all there. Had better but had much worse. Quick service and staff are friendly
It was a bit of waiting involved to get a place to sit. I was by myself, I waited for 15 min till I got to my table. I told the waiting staff that I was in hurry and I just need food that was quick to prep so I ordered tom yum with noodle. The waiting staff sent the food quite quickly since I was rushing. The food itself have the taste, though it can't never beat the real Bangkok tomyum, but it has all the distinctive flavours required. The ambience was good
I have to say, your chef needs a raise. The food served in this restaurant is authentic Thai food. I was craving for a pineapple friend rice and your chef delivered! I feel like I’m back in Phuket again. Everything we ordered was delicious! And having a lovely and friendly staff is a plus! Will you consider putting up a branch in Dublin City please??? 😋😋😊😊🙂🙂
The restaurant was not busy when we were there. The service was quick. We were asked whether we wanted to be seated inside or outside. We ordered beef green curry. Sadly, it was too salty for us and the taste was not what we expected.
Food was good as always. The waiter Adarsh in particular was really polite and kept checking if everything was okay. He's also all smiles making me feel relaxed. I've dined in here many times before and have encountered grumpy waiters. Adarsh on the other hand was very friendly.
Large portions of food, food was tasty and great. Loved it. Sticky rice was amazing. The presentation of the food was gorgeous!
Very nice concept and they have kind of noodle soup menu which costed only about 20£ and everything was included. Very affordable place and the foods were also amazing. The portion was enormous, I thought it would be smaller but it was definitely massive. Even it is a bit out of downtown, but it is worth to try. Highly recommended place.

Not very impressed with this service, waited an hour for our food, yet when asked for an update we were told it would be another 25 minutes. It feels reasonable to say that is unacceptable timing for a delivery on a Thursday evening.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t even make the wait worthwhile; heavily battered, cooked to the crisp dishes. Was hoping to find myself a new go-to place in Edinburgh for chinese food, this will not be our choice.
I would recommend this place if you’re not hungry and have plenty of time to build up an appetite🙂

The shredded chicken in garlic and honey sauce is the best thing I've ever had from a Chinese!! Kung pao was not as thick and rich as I hoped but had a lot of veggies which I appreciated. I keep coming back for that shredded chicken, yum.
We are from Texas and are truly speechless, the food was amazing cooked perfectly and with so much flavor the lemon chicken was very delightful and not overwhelming the chicken was lightly breaded and the lemon sauce was not overpowering the service was attentive and very patient.
The Hong Kong BBQ meats (Siu Mei) have to be the best I ever tried in Edinburgh so far! The service was wonderful. A place to go of you want awesome Cantonese food! I recommend fully. I just hope soon they will open their restaurant dining area soon 🙏
Nice food, for a competitive price. Had the duck and pancakes, crispy chilli beef, prawn toast, and duck spring rolls. Everything was really good bar the spring rolls they just weren't it. That said recommend this place! Packaging was really good too!

It is what it is. You can easily order at a tablet or order by person. Meanwhile quiet times (been on Monday evening) 2 bowls arrived in 7 minutes after order placed, cooked to perfection. The service is also great as our server even came to double check as one of our food highlighted no sauce and she recommended a great one instead (free of charge). All in all is an amazing place for quick and delicious food in an OK interior. But honestly, once you taste the food, interior won't ever matter.
Went here about three times now and was not disappointed once. Dumplings are very tasty - can get them steamed or fried. Their sweet and sour chicken or the pork are really good. Paired with green or jasmine tea it makes it a genuine experience. A great place to go for a more casual but delicious dinner.

A bit like aberdeen football club once was famous and amazing however mediocre at best. Last two times have been a complete let down so having to find another decent Chinese. The salt and pepper chips were top class and now soft, squidgy and ended up in the bin! First time I could ever say that.
The food is ok, and can easily be made at home. The food is affordable (under 10 pounds) and there is a range of vegetable options, which makes Red Box healthier than most takeaways. You choose a noodle type, a protein, three vegetables and whether you'd want garlic/coriander.

We phoned and booked dinner two to three weeks in advance: a birthday treat. The guy took our phone number and verbally confirmed. When we arrived it was shut: it shuts every Tuesday. They couldn't be bothered to get back to us. If this is what they call customer service, then we won't be back. Pity I couldn't post without stars! They deserve minus stars.

We recently had takeout from Taste Good. The reviews were good and thats why we decided to try it out, however the food was ok. The garlic chicken had a lot of vinegar so didn't taste pleasant. And the chicken itself was just a breaded breast piece cut into pieces and put over the gravy.. it was not what we expected. The prawn with babycorn and straw mushroom & the chowmein was ok. Could have been better.

A good place to eat delicious chinese food. I recommend the japanese tofu with broccoli. Love it so much. We also have the sweet and spicy beef which is crispy outside but still juicy and tender.
Very authentic Northeast Chinese food, but perhaps a little salty for me! The chefs are all from China, and it’s probably one of the best Chinese restaurants for Northeast Chinese cuisine. I recommend trying the dishes other than dumplings.
Found this restaurant on my way back from Holyrood Park. Food is very authentic. Must try their dumplings. 👍🏼
Service is really friendly and the place has well earned popularity. Had the rainbow and chive dumplings were my fave. The pickled veg fish, guo bao rou, and japanese tofu were all tasty as well!

By the time when I had my last satay water was dripping and soggy. Among the 3 pieces of satay, 3 Rd one was unacceptable. I felt the salad was not drained before they place on the plate. I have informed to the person served as well but his answer was intentionally vinigered water for flavour which is not acceptable for me. I personally felt for the money we pay we except more.
Overall experience was good. They offer delivery as well. Alcohol free selection was not great.

A great Thai restaurant with good food and calm atmosphere. I can't find much to fault. The food was delicious and they have traditional dishes. We really enjoyed the chicken pad thai. The service was efficient and on time, the staff are nice too. Overall, I think it deserves 5 stars for bringing and maintaining Thai cuisine in Edinburgh.

Just had my dinner here yesterday, I ordered ramen with beef and choose pak choy, mushroom and carrot for vegetables with malaysian chili.
It was really nice, they cooked it very fast, and only cost me £7.70
Basically u need to pick your noodle, meat/seafood, 3 vegetables and the sauce.
It is near Edinburgh University.

If you can handle spicy food, try the rice with beef black pepper sauce, so good.
They always cook with very sttong fire, you should choose veggies that is quite hard like broccoli (my personal preference)

Nice place to have a Chinese (Hongkong) foods in Edinburgh city. This place is quiet and clean. Staffs are helpful and suggest what foods are better. I find a bit pricier but overall enjoyed.

pork doesn't have that weird awful pork smell like in most places in the UK (only a teeny hint)... ie. the haoshao rou braised pork was decent & certainly hit the spot - not like the best ever but very good for Scotland lol. I recommend ordering it 'cause it takes quite a bit of effort to make at home haha... Pork bok choi dumplings were nice. Veg dish was fine, like home cooking, could use more seasoning - giant portion though. Tbh I rarely find the experience of dining out here satisfactory (often pricey & very average) but this place made me glad to eat out - Would come back again. Simple but nice
Lovely Thai restaurant but was disappointed with the Pad Thai because they used very long spaghetti pasta instead of shorter flat rice noodles so it made it harder to eat and not so enjoyable. We only went there for a Pad Thai so we probably won't go there again.

It's very hard to find a good takeaway these days and having tried most in the gorgie/Slateford area thought I'd give this place a go.The meal was lovely and arrived very quickly with a very pleasant delivery driver.The only thing was that it was a little expensive,but tasty nonetheless.
We used to order take away from taste good,and we always enjoyed, specially the roast duck, but we are really disappointed about the duck we ordered tonight! As you can see from the picture! Wondering its made by the same chef or not, the other dish is not as good as usual too. Hope you can keep the standard like before.

We got the crispy diced chicken in spices and egg fried rice which was great! The chicken was decently crisp and had a nice spice to it. The egg fried rice was class.
Also got the Rainbow dumplings which were cool but there were some that I wasn't a hug fan of. The ones I liked were great though! Need to go back to identify which ones they were 🤣

Absolutely amazing service. There was a wait at the door and I can see why. Only took 15 mins before being seated. The hostess came out several times to check on us before attending to a table. The food came out almost immediately and tasted AMAZING. Definitely well worth the experience and bad service we had from other Chinese restaurants in the area. Could not fault a thing. Staff were tentative especially as my Mother is disabled.
