I drove down here from the boring city of Hollister to try out the nabeyaki udon. I enjoyed a tasty hot bowl of delightful dashi-based broth with udon and seafood. The sad part was running out of that hot, delicious food.

Service
The wait staff only cared about the initial interaction and the end of my time there, when I was finished with my food. The wait staff did not check on me during the middle portion of my meal. I go to restaurants, and I expect good service as part of the experience. Good food by itself does not mean full stars. Two stars for service are gone because they need to improve their service.

Atmosphere
The restaurant is in a small strip mall. Behind the strip mall, the area looks rather run down. The strip mall itself was alright. As for the restaurant itself, it's your typical Japanese restaurant with some ink painting of Samarais hanging on one wall. There's nothing that really makes this place stand out as a "You've got to come here." In fact, from the outside it looks rather bland.

Arrived about 5:45 pm just as a table opened up. Ordered calamari appetizer and then 5 rolls for the 3 of us. Got hot tea with dinner too. The food was fresh and tasted great. They have a small dinning room with 1 server so it gets busy. $90 for good sushi for the 3 of us was a great value.

Cozy place to have a casual sushi dinner. The appetizer selection is average but the rolls selection shines! Too many choices to pick from. Be sure to try any deep fried roll, they are so good. They unagi nigiri. Hot sake is a great addition to the meal. I wish they would offer complementary side of edamame. We arrived around 40 min before closing but never felt rushed. Recommended.

Food was super hot. The orange chicken had a different salty taste that I wasn't really into. The service was fast and pleasant. First time I used their rewards application which was nice. Only came here because it was nearby where we were in Seaside. I probably won't be back just because it's pretty far. It did have the Panda express signature flavors other than that orange chicken. If you're reading this I assume you know what I'm talking about.

The line is always wrapping around the restaurant or out the door but the food is ALWAYS so worth it! The staff is very friendly and hardworking and dedicated to each and every customer and they all work very quickly to try and make the wait for customers not so long. Even though the line is usually long, the wait isn't so bad sometimes

Food is always delicious and good portions at a great price. Staff is friendly and food comes out quickly. Support local!!

Decent and fast. Always crowded at lunch time so go a bit later if you can, and definitely wait for the trays to be refilled with freshly cooked.

Great hole-in-the-wall for a quick food pickup. No seating, cash only. Food was really tasty.
Not the cleanest looking place, but shrimp Bŭn was soooo good. Avocado smoothy was good, not sweet like some places.

Take out only. Avoid. Not authentic Vietnamese food. Very basic, taste is bland, just big portion. Their veggies are big pieces cabbage and broccoli. Zero Vietnamese Rau or Thai basil often used in Viet dishes. Not good for the price paid either. Go somewhere else if you want authentic foods. Even their specialty, taste bad. I haven't had worse Vietnamese food in my life until I tried this place. Not sure why they're on Eater. That person who recommended this place probably haven't had Vietnamese food ever.

Rude customer service. Given it’s a cash only takeout restaurant, maybe the person taking the order should inform the customer first about cash only option. Food was bland but portion size was good. Wouldn’t try it again. Vegetarian options are limited or not great

It's been a while since I had food at panda express, but they really surprised me. I took a family deal to go, I got home, everything looks good but the broccoli beef... 90%broccoli vs 10% or less beef. I think is time to re-name that dish.

Good experience. Service was really good and fast. Typical American sushi place. For 4 speciality roles spent about 65 $ plus tip.
As a whole a good place and I would return here.

Came here with son. Chow main tasted better than any other times I've came . The sweet orange chicken was Delicious. And the egg rolls were even better . Will definitely be coming back

So I went to seaside location super busy tonight I went in with my 3 kids. I ordered family feast. 5 sides I order chow main and rice 2 orange chicken and beef&broccoli. Additionally I ordered m-white rice m-walnut shrimp & m- kung pao chicken. Now my daughter was crying so I didn’t see when they were putting the food into containers plus long line. So I paid then I checked food in the restaurant and I had 3 chow mains. I told a lady in the front and she went to get me the rice then come back to say That I DID NOT ORDER THE RICE AND THAT I WAS LYING WOW!!!!! Then I leave the 3rd chow main because I didn’t want it. I walk up to the girl who help me I told her it’s rude to say that I was lying when she clearly miss heard. I left mad. Then I come home and served my kids and myself I am pregnant and my daughter started complaining about the orange chicken it was freaking raw!!!!! Week later no call from nobody!!!!!

CASH ONLY, before you go, bring cash. This was okay, maybe the pho would be better. This is the chowFun. but I know it’s Mama noodles and the seasoning! But they’re really busy. So good for them.

Had a fantastic visit for early dinner here after the last Indycar 500 race of the season at Leguna Seca. Arrived around 5pm and was able to be seated without a weight. Every dish we had was fantastic and prices were quite reasonable. The combo dishes were a great value for money. Ordered the sashimi platter and was given some very high quality fish at a great price. Quick service and plenty of parking outside.

Wow it was amazing! The sushi was delicious literally still drooling looking at my pictures! We ordered stuffed crab jalapenos, teriyaki chicken, veggie udon, and a spicy tiger roll!!!
I have to go back for dessert bas I had no more room but food was excellent! Fresh, hot, delicious! Not to mention excellent service! Happy staff with incredible smiles and service!!! I can't wait to go back!

Generous serving sizes, decent prices. Take out only (due to pandemic), place was still buzzing busy on a Saturday night. Tried the BBQ chicken plate with a Thai iced tea, can't wait to come back!

I was literally starving after driving for hours before stopping here. The manager was serving at this location and gave really small portions. When I open my meal and took a couple bites of rice I saw this black curled hair inside of my food in the fried rice. The food didn't taste right either, as of the recipe wasn't followed or it was old. Completely ruined my day.

The lady at the front who took our order was very kind. The portions are big and the prices are low AND the food is delicious. If you’re craving Chinese food, I definitely recommend this place. I’d recommend avoiding pho take out as the noodle portion we got was small. Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of the pho

Great lunch specials at affordable price! Employees are polite. The food has a great taste! Do not park on the green painted spaces, apparently the liquor store next to it is not nice about it.

Panda Express has a great food selection & great prices! Currently, due to Covid-19, they have a system in place where you go to the door on the right side to place your order. Then you go to the door on the left to pick up your order (when they call your name). Then they placevyour order on a tray, and your change & the receipt in a basket. Thank you!

Favorite hidden gem of the Monterey Bay. There are only 11 seats in this hole in the wall. Always worth the wait. Best beef and broccoli from San Louis Obispo to San Fransisco. I come here weekly. Cash only!
