Delicious shrimp and vegetables, not really a dine in place but perfect for takeout

Christmas night they were one of the few places open. The food was great and the people so friendly!

I called the restaurant to share with them my issues with the food. Hoping, they would comment they would try to improve. After speaking with the owner, who was argumentative, I told him I would post photos in my review. I purchased egg foo young and fried chicken wings. Egg foo young is usually made with bean sprouts. I am not sure what they were made of. It was not bean sprouts. The chicken wings looked like they had been cooked so many times that they were not eatable. I understand why they have a C rating. I do not recommend the restaurant.

I order chicken wings and egg foo young. The restaurant told me the chicken was cooked fresh. The chicken wings appeared to have been cooked so many times they were hard and dried out. Egg foo young normally have bean sprouts in them. I am not sure what was in those egg foo young. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Only restaurant in Fishers I've seen a "C" sanitary inspection rating from the city. Any lower and they would have to shut down. Pretty nasty. 🤢

I never had pepper steak and rice before but I definitely enjoyed it. I ordered inside and had a reasonable wait. The restaurant is pretty inside with nize booths. The staff is so nice & willing to answer questions. The lunch specials are great only 6.99 a meal comes with an egg roll & I forgot the other option.

I placed my order online before opening hours with no trouble and asked for noon pickup. I only waited a few minutes when I arrived, I'm guessing because I'd ordered Mongolian beef and typically that isn't made ahead of time. The restaurant was simply decorated and clean and had a good atmosphere. The lady who helped us was pleasant. We ordered the Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, sesame beef, egg foo young and hot n' sour soup. Everything was good and exceeded expectations. We will go back and are looking forward to trying more dishes.

Happy Dragon was a little above mediocre overall. The inside was dirty and dusty on the walls and ceiling, but the tables were clean. The food was decent. The vegetable fried rice didn't have a ton of flavor, but there was mostly vegetables in it. The sweet n sour sauce had some citrus flavoring I'm not used to but it was okay. The chicken was fresh and not overcooked. They took coupons4indy discount which ended up feeding my family of 4 for under 20 dollars with leftovers to spare. I'll try them again. It's not always stellar even where I usually go for Chinese food.
