I have been on the 90 minute sunset cruise with this company 4 times now! For the price (especially using Groupon), it is well worth the money to spend 90 minutes watching the sunset, being in nature, and sometimes being able to see sea lions, dolphins and birds. I take anyone visiting me on this cruise and even though I’ve done it 4 times, it’s been a different experience each time. The boat itself is well-kept, the crew is very personable (I highly recommend Matt and Addison) and the ride is smooth. The bar has great selections as well! I highly recommend the sunset cruise whether you’re a local or visiting Newport Beach. I’ve recommended this cruise to many of my coworkers and friends and all who have done it have had an amazing time. Thank you Newport Landing and see you next time!
Really enjoyed the sunset cruise. It was a lovely night and being out on the water is always a good time to us. This was the first time we'd done it but as locals that seems crazy. We will definitely be back.
A beautiful boat ride, my fiance and I both enjoyed our visit! The interior of the boat is nice and clean with lots of room and booths to sit on. The bar is nice but take note that the drink voucher is only good for $5 so you’ll have to pay extra for anything else. If you want to have a seat on the upper level (outside) then be sure to line up early at the boarding area since it’ll fill up pretty quickly.
What a great value! Great service, and very clean boat. The views were amazing, and we thoroughly had a great date night. So relaxing. Definitely going to be back soon!
We had a really good time! They sent several reminders by email and text of our trip and helpful parking hints. Definitely get there 2 hours in advance during the summer because parking is a nightmare and we had to walk a mile away. The drinks were okay I wish they still included cocktails. The only maybe issue if it was an issue at all was there was a huge teenage birthday party taking up the second story of the boat and they were highly annoying. Huge groups should almost have their own Cruise or maybe offering an adult's only Cruise would be really cool. Overall we would go again, just maybe not during the summer. The playlist is always awesome and the crew is really nice! Also bring a light jacket or sweater it gets a bit chilly even in summer!
What a great experience we had last night! Our Captain was fantastic. She not only ran the boat as smooth as can be, but also made a fantastic judgement call based on favorable ocean conditions to leave the harbor where we saw a HUGE pod of common dolphins… I’m talking hundreds of them. You could tell it was something special as the Captain herself had some real excitement in her voice and was taking a few pictures. I wish I could share videos on the Google Review!
Clean and spacious 2 level yacht. On-board crew were friendly and accommodating. The blue Hawaiian and Bloody Mary cocktails tasted great. Limiting individual group sizes would help with the noise level and improve customer experience. A large group of 40 people was present and extremely rowdy with little intervention from crew members. They treated this public tour like their own private party, disregarding the other patrons.
Beautiful, relaxing way to spend our first evening in the area. The sunset couldn’t have been better and we even got an unexpected viewing the Space X launch. Bonus was the great soundtrack provided by our captain.
