The food here was delicious! Nachos and tacos were as close as I'll probably ever get to authentic Mexican food in New York City. Everything was packed with flavor. I wish there was a place like this in Harlem!
We both really enjoyed the food! The tostadas were my favorite. Out of the meat, the al pastor was the best.
I honestly can only speak to the shrimp tacos b/c I had them once and haven't been able to try anything else yet -- just b/c they are SO good. They are the most perfect shrimp tacos I've ever had (though I have NOT to been to Mexico City or Oaxaca or even had tacos in Texas for that matter). But I eat a LOT of tacos, my favorite being shrimp and these are the right mix of spice, shrimp flavor, onion, cilantro, 1 small slice of avocado and a sprinkling of cotija. I prefer their salsa verde but both salsa options are good. They come with a side of crispy radish slices which I like to add to the tacos as well. I am sorry I cannot speak for anything else on the menu, b/c when I crave, I CRAVE. But these are the best shrimp tacos in the Park Slope area, hands down.
Best burrito I’ve had since moving to NYC from LA (and I’ve been on a hunt). I tried the steak and mushroom and it was simply divine. The steak is well marinated and sharp cheese was a great complement. The tortilla was soft and buttery and the portion size was great. Had some amazing salsas to go with it as well and they give some chips as well. So happy I stumbled on this place, will be back soon!
For $40 we got 2 combos (2 empanadas, 2 tacos, 2 toast Ada’s), chips and guacamole, and tres leches cake

Everything was phenomenal, steak for the tacos was super flavorful. Place an order and pick it up and enjoy it at wild east brewery, that’s what we did - winning combo 🏆

Look at that TUB of guacamole 👀
Amazingly fast service and wonderful pricing! Highly suggest the combos—you get so many things for like $13-15. Food = slaps.
Vibes = immaculate. Also: the drinks are a great size for the price! One of the best places I’ve eaten at since moving to New York!!
Omg great food. Even better customer service. The churros are delicious so good I went back the next day for more. Highly recommend I will return.
Found out that Homemade Taqueria had a new branch opening up in Park Slope so a few friends and I went to check it out together. Was not disappointed in the least!

We had outstanding service from a waitress named Cassandra. The food was absolutely delicious. I personally went for the steak tacos and chicken quesadillas, loading both with the hottest sauce they had which gave it a nice kick.

Everything about the place was warm and inviting but I have to take an extra moment to recognize one of their dishes in particular. I'm part Panamanian/Colombian and have been exposed to quite a lot of variations of Tres Leches over my lifetime. The Tres Leches here... wins by A LANDSLIDE - I do not choose these words lightly. Perfectly balanced, rich flavor, not soggy like a lot of Tres Leches tend to be [their downfall]. It's an experience all in it's own that will have you sitting their contemplating your life for a moment.

Do yourself a favor and check this place out! My friends and I did; we'll surely be back for more!
