We spent a week in the Citrine cottage. It was beautiful and well located, next to a large grassy area. The RV neighbors and staff were lovely to meet and work with. Amenities were ready and it was close to the river. We would love to stay there on our next trip..

Just got home from a week in site #9. It was very nice, level, all utilities worked as expected (though for some reason #9 does not have cable, but 8 and 10 do, but little issue, as there are so many antenna channels, and the park Wi-Fi worked great, and so did my Starlink for streaming).
Dale, the camp host was extremely friendly. Very gracious at checkin, even insisted he help us back in (though site 9 is a piece of cake, if you can’t back into that one, you shouldn’t be RV’ing LOL). I didn’t need him for anything else during our stay, but I’m sure if I had he would have come through. I know there are some negative reviews here, but they are trying to improve things, and it is showing. For short-term stays (less than 2 weeks, I’d guess), the sites are nice and it appears the utilities have recently been upgraded. This isn’t a luxury resort, it is in town, and with the housing situation in Reno (VERY expensive), there are a lot of full-timers, some with older rigs, so set your expectations a little. But I talked with a few and everyone seemed nice enough, we had no issues with crime or even anyone wandering through that looked like they didn’t belong. We have 3 dogs and they did well, though the sites next to us were empty so that made it easier. If I need to go back to Reno (my son and DIL live there), I’d make River West my destination.

River west cottages are a very nice place to stay. We book every unit for our event at the Elm estate. Every unit was so nice and clean. Very easy check in amd check out! We would stay there again.

Our experience was great! The cottages were clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and conveniently located next to the Elm Estate Venue. The staff was outstanding and made sure that all our needs were met! It’s a beautiful setting as well. We highly recommend these cottages for a stay!

We stayed here one night on our way to Yosemite and one night on the way back. Dale is the night manager and took good care of us!!! They gave us a spot right up against the grassy area so that our kids could run around and play which was SO helpful!!! They have clean showers and bathrooms and also have laundry facilities.
The river is right next to the RV park with some benches which was nice to go to after dinner to watch the sun set. In the mornings there is the city park that's only a few blocks away with a nice paved bike path that we used to run and bike on.

A very well maintained park, locally owned, 24-hour management, on the river. Landscape is beautiful with several different flowering bushes. I recommend this RV park.

Beautiful RV park adjacent to Truckee river, with snow capped mountain view outside our living room window..park is well maintained. The staff is friendly & helpful. Of note many spaces are filled with full time rigs.

Awesome time in the Sapphire cottage! Attended an event at The Elm Estate, and the cottage was located right on the grounds. We checked in, changed, and walked off the cottage front porch and into the event!

Staff was great - Professional and attentive. Kari, the owner of both properties, and Bridgette, were very personable. Both the cottage and the event were first class - We have already booked our cottage for next year!

Sapphire cottage was wheelchair accessible. We did not need it, yet important to know this if you do.

The Elm Estate is a superb venue! Our event was a large party. Any event, especially a wedding, would be a smashing success here. If you are planning a wedding, and want a beautiful, outdoor venue, this is it. Additionally, you can arrange access to the old estate house on property.
It has been completely restored, and updated to be the perfect place for a bridal party to prepare for the ceremony.

Additional buildings include a modern event center and a billiard room, which provide additional spots to gather, relax, and enjoy food and drink.
