The only reason I put 2 stars is the food, the woman who took our order was aggressive and made us feel that we shouldn’t eat here! She took our order sometimes we point at items in display she doesn’t even look or say give me a second then we paid we’re still waiting for the receipt and the items started coming out, they just scream the name or number of the item so when we claimed she screamed that we just ordered but the items were ours then she aggressively handed them down while complaining !
The shrimp rice rolls look nothing like the picture and taste nothing like those I tasted before (I’m a dim sum nerd) the roll was too tall and chunky and there were only 2 small pieces of shrimp at each extremity. The dough/rice roll tasted weird so we had to dug out only the shrimp pieces!

As far as buffets go it's a great place. Could be a bit better, but overall great bang for your buck. 25 over 10, and 11 for under 10. We were charged 5 for a 2 year old in our group and free for an infant.

The worst buffet that we ever went! This is the first time in my history that I ate congee instead of their display foods. It looks gross and disgusting. The steam that turns into droplets are falling straight to the food display. I saw a man using his bare hand touching the food display and ate it straight then touch it again. I stopped him from doing so and reported to one of the servers but the servers just gave me a yucky face for what the man did.
And also, their straw is not free. I wanted to use a straw for my water as I feel gross already but they said straw is only for purchased drinks.
We did not stay more than 30 minutes. I feel like I am going to vomit after tasting their food! Such a waste of money. We think it is cheaper compared to other buffet but it is not worth it. Words is not enough to describe how filthy and bad quality this place is. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

Went here for a school trip. Absolutely horrible. The fries were great but the rest not very good. I had some chicken and you chould not even chew into it. It was super grey and had no flavor. Says theirs roaches but didn't see any the rest is fine but the food is not something I recommend
First of all, it was a very nice presentation for a sushi takeout. I was speechless with the plating. I ordered a 48 pcs combo and asked the chef to choose a few specialties. We were a group of 7 adults and 3 kids. It was just enough. Very affordable sushi place for the quality you get. Nice service on the phone. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a sushi night to impress your guests.

The flakes they use come in huge bags from the factory, are stale, and made with low quality oil.
If you want health food don't eat here; they'd prefer to serve you frankensushi full of stale tempura flakes. That's not sushi or maki. That's fake to make more $.

Beautiful presentation and the sushis did not disappoint! They have a variety of sushi and sashimi selection, all were super fresh. I recommend for lunch/dinners in big groups.

Dine in. Horrible food. Everything is stale and tastes funny. All the breaded items are 90% batter. Limited options compared to before. Even the water tastes weird. No seafood, no ice cream. For the price, go to any other option in the area.

Got here at 645pm on January 23rd on a Tuesday and it was closed. The posting at the door says it is supposed to be open. I came here for nothing.

Ordered super last minute on NYE for take out for my son & I. It was first time trying this place out. Everything was super fresh and absolutely delicious. Price & quality was perfect. Would highly recommend! For lunch, dinner or parties. My friend who referred me said they make beautiful platters !

I ordered Singapore style rice vermicelli. The first photo is from where I bought it. It tastes terrible. And dry There is only rice noodles in it. Not many shrimps. And not meat. I've eaten at many. There are a lot of shrimps and meat inside. This is the worst restaurant I've ever eaten. Will never buy any of food again. I hope you don’t have to go through this. After that, I immediately went to buy a similar from another restaurant . Second photo. If you compare it, you will know what the difference is.
What an unassuming little joint that happens to be dishing out some top-shelf sushi and sashimi! The sashimi came in super thick and unctuous slabs. The spicy tuna roll was awesome and actually spicy (and cheap!). The scallops were super fresh and buttery and tender and beautiful. We enjoyed everything and left with full bellies at 11pm.

First time eating here on a Monday night. Even though restaurant was full, the very friendly employee installed a new table just for us! We ordered a custom veggie combo and miso soup with taro and matcha Japanese ice cream for dessert- everything was exceptional! Recommended without hesitation, this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Beautiful presentation (sushi roll garnishes were shaped like flowers🥹), warm and inviting atmosphere and excellent value. Thank you for the amazing service, we’ll be back!
Yesss great sushi!! I’ve continually been disappointed with sushi in Montreal :( but this place is awesome, fish is fresh and rice is perfect, not densely packed like some other places. Reasonable prices and friendly service, looking forward to coming here again
Surprised at mixed reviews here, was quite impressed with this unassuming place.
Have to look out for fresh vs smoked salmon on the menu, but overall tasted very nice, generous portions, good plating and variety. They have 4 seats for eat-in, which are great for a quick bite.

Sushi were fresh and tasty, but I found that Nigiri were too small.
Stopped by for a take out lunch the other day. Sushi 🍣 was awesome and made fresh while i waited. Staff was super helpful. My new go to place in the area✅
The platters were beautifully plated. Not only were they a nice presentation (for my mama’s bday) but each piece of sushi tasted fresh and good! Highly recommend them whether it is for a simple take out night or a fancy take out night!

Ordered delivery. The miso soup didn't seem to have any miso in it, only dashi broth, the kamakazi rolls had mystery white fish substituted for salmon or tuna, and some of the avocado was hard and rubbery. In general, the rolls were not very well-made and cheaped out on ingredients.
There were hairs in my miso soup and sushi... can't recommend it enough

Communication is difficult with the staff. They could make a crispy sticky rice poke. The poke only had iceberg lettuce and a few diced cucumbers with white rice and the salmon. Didn’t ask for spicy but the sauce was way too spicy. I will not go back to this location again.
My friends and I tried a variety of vegan sushi here and loved all of those. Highly recommend the one with vegan chicken, vegan salmon and sweet potato - edamame. Would def go here again!
The drink itself was fine.Although it was quite refreshing ,the costumer service was horrible. It took us 15 minutes to order 2 drinks because nobody understood what we were saying and we had to repeat ourselves multiple times. Not only were the drinks very expensive but the lady making them was not wearing any gloves when she she put her finger in my drink.

The salmon chirashi is great when you want a classic (or if you have trouble to make a selection from their many rolls options!). The shiitake rolls (as maki or mudita rolls) are addictive. Price is good for quality+quantity.
Worst customer service ever. Didn’t even get any acknowledgement at the caisse with no thank you or look my way when I paid and just got thrown the receipt and the cashier just stayed on their cell phone the whole time
My favourite sushi restaurant in MTL that is mixed with excellent fish but also many vegan options that are out of the ordinary (i.e., more creative than cucumber & avocado hosomakis) . I recommend this to many of my friends, and all were happy with what they got.
Found everything we were looking for and more. Took home a mini chocolate cheesecake Danish that was great. Good supply of packaged food and ready to go meals.

I just placed an order for sushi through UberEats. The avocado hosomaki that I received is not edible because the avocado it extremely unripe. It’s crunchy…. I’ve had to take out all of the avocado pieces and just eat the rice and nori….
If someone orders avocado hosomaki and you don’t have ripe avocado you should call them to at least let them know and maybe offer to switch it for a different sushi roll…

I got a delivery with Uber eats , promotion buy 1 , get one free , but don’t take it , it’s a trick , first because the price of one doesn’t worth , second because you won’t have salmon in any sushi , only cheap ingredients like cucumber avocado , etc ..

The food was great, I enjoyed it all! We came at the end of the evening and it was still fairly fresh and good tasting, they have vegan options and do not use MSG / salts in their food as stated in the restaurant so that was a plus for me as I’m dieting.

This is one of my favorite sushi places. i tried all kinds of sushi here one by one with special sauces, it's amazing. it makes my mouth want to eat non stop. I will order it weekly.

I'm from Ottawa and came to Montreal for vacation. I was craving sushi and a friend of mine recommended this restaurant to me.
I got the Special Aiko, Dragon Eyes,
Poke Salmon Bowl, and Deep Fried Banana.
1. Special Aiko is a rice wrap sushi, which I thought was unique and innovative! It had crab meat, salmon and shrimp tempura. All ingredients tasted fresh. It came with soya sauce. It was delicious 🤤. It had a zesty flavour to it which I loved. I highly recommend this sushi. 👍 👍 👍👍👍
2. Dragon Eyes Roll is a deep fried Roll. It is a two bite roll. That was very yummy sushi too. It had salmon, carrots and green onion. The green onion made it very flavourful. It came with a spicy mayo sauce which adds more to the flavor too.

The Spicy Salmon Futomaki was not spicy at all!! The texture of the rice and seaweed was very chewy. It was my first time trying an omelet sushi and that was very good!

I love the vegan options! They have a great variety with mock meats which is awesome! I usually have good experiences but this time they messed up my order literally 3 times in the same order... I was pretty discouraged! They also threw away a perfectly good roll because we asked for a soy sheet instead of nori sheet bc I don't like nori and the sushi was for me but my partner would of ate them...Overall good food, good price, ok service! :)
Take out poke bowls with salmon 🍣 taste ok but very cheap on portions at this shop !!! For the price fills it up with lots of iceberg lettuce barely any rice on the bottom with a few pcs is salmon 👎🏼

This place is a SCAM! They advertise themselves as "Kohana sushi vegetalien" on Uber Eats and Doordash while:
1. They are not a vegan sushi restaurant
2. They do not have rights to change their name, the real "Ohana sushi vegetalien" is around the corner, and it's the best vegan sushi in town
Unfortunately these apps do not seem to care about this and nothing is being done to protect the other business.

This place goes by a different name in DoorDash and their vegan rolls are terrible! They go by “Kohana Sushi” online just to steal clientele from another restaurant with a similar name. That being said, their regular rolls are terrible too. My friends sushi was ROTTEN and the order was messed up as well. DO NOT GO HERE! Clearly they can’t do anything right. Worst $70 ever spent.
This is honestly the BEST sushi spot on the plateau. Out of the ordinary sushi made with a lot of love and creativity. Service is fast and efficient and price is amazing for the quality. The ingredients are always the freshest! You come once and they remember your name and last order. Family run business where I recommend to come over and over. My favorite spot to come grab amazing dinner at a great price where I'm sure to have a good convo with the host.

Never have this amazing sushi experience in town. The rolls are huges, well balance with just enough rice, fish and shrimp are generously added. The ingredients are so fresh. Five stars quality but at a low budget. This small place is a new discovery for me and definitely my place to go for sushi craving.

So happy to have discovered this Kosher grocery store! In the past, I had to travel super far to find Kosher products. It used to sometimes take me an hour!
Now I can simply walk down the street to find what I need. In addition, everything is spacious, well-lit and clean. A hidden gem! Only a ten minute walk from Parc metro.

Lady working didn’t understand french and just a little of English so it was really hard to order .. Once we managed to order our food (3 combos) we waited for at least 45 mins.. I don’t understand how she could manage the whole restaurant for herself..
I've NEVER had sushi so rotten. I ordered a few "special" rolls and the rice was so dry and crumbly that all of my rolls just fell apart? I told them I was allergic to cucumber and they filled all my rolls with them anyway. The salmon was cut so poorly and shoved in so messily that it looked like a woman's private parts. "You eat with your eyes," is an expression in the restaurant world. Meaning presentation is important. This sloppy mess, ringing in at 40 dollars no less, left me feeling nauseated and disgusted. The place was also full of flies. I'm surprised I didn't get food poisoning.
It doesn’t look much from outside but the inside’s decor is so cute. The service was fast and they plated the food beautifully. The taste pairs well with the way the food was presented and we loved every bite of everything we ordered. The server doesn’t speak English well but you can get away by pointing on the menu to order.
BEST SUSHI BURRITO IN CANADA. The sweetest and most patient lady working here. She was very accommodating with my food allergies. Hands down best sushi burrito I’ve ever had - it was so fresh and some of the rice had some crunch with the perfect texture. Will definitely be back to this location when I visit Montreal again.
Fair price, sushi is good! It’s not exceptional but it’s good for the price with a wide variety of sushi types. The staff is friendly and service is quick. A good stop if you’re craving sushi in the area.
I have been tried numbers of sushi in MTL. From my points of view, this store is quite nice, not extremely good but it is fine! The price is OK.

The supermarket itself has a decent selection and the pricing is okay, however worth noting as previous reviews have stated, they do not enforce the mask mandate. Most Staff were wandering around as well as preparing food without masks, (excluding the cashier and a person stocking shelves). Half the patrons also did not wear masks, nor did they mind their distance. It seems clear that they're not serious about taking appropriate measures to protect the health and well-being of their customers.
We ordered today for pickup for the first time. Rolls are big and tasty, it’s fresh and prices are super good for the neighborhood. Will definitely order again on our next sushi craving night!
Been going to this place for years now and I definitely say it's good quality food-wise, however the service takes beyond forever with no exaggeration and you will never recieve your food if there happens to be another client in the store. I have 1 hour long breaks at my work, and am late every single time when I come here to order. If you're hungry/in a rush for poké, keep walking down mount royal to another larger location.
I've found this gem on ubereats and I think they are my new favorite sushi place. All of the items that we ordered were so delicious! We ordered twice already and the 2nd time was just as good as the first time. The choices of their rolls is just massssive! I hope they have more environmental friendly packaging thou.
I thought it was okay, definetly had better sushi. Bf wasnt impress at all for his first sushi. The imperial roll where really good. The wakame salad was good, and the miso soup just not hot enough. Will see later for the mango cheese cake.
You need to come here!! I’ve had so many disappointments with sushi restaurants that aren’t high end so I didn’t expect much from here. I was so wrong! Their ingredients are fresh, flavourful and their sushi combinations are creative! The Nagano, Bonsa and salmon maki tartare are a MUST. Their crab also has a good taste unlike many restaurants that have tasteless crab. I’m really happy I tried this place! It’ll be my only go to for delicious and affordable sushi from now on!

Your regular sushi , nothing special. Price is compatible for what is delivered (for example $6.99 for 11 pieces), and for that I’m gonna give it 4 stars instead of 3.

The place is small but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Food came quickly after we ordered and was great. Prices were good compared to other sushi places, especially if you take some of the chef's choices. You can also get 5 free makis if you eat there and order for more than 30$

Hands down the best sushi menu on the Plateau. The fish is very fresh, the portions are generous and the service is very decent. A great place to order to go as well as dine in although if you choose the latter don't expect a great ambience. The music in here is a mix of several refrigerator noises wish is not my musical genre to be honest. But I'm still giving them 5 stars for the quality of the food!
