Right in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Barcelona you'll find a great restaurant for the foodies who look for Japanese tasty sushi options. Excellent variety in their menu and very good service. You'd better book a table in advance. As for me, I'll go back soon.
Less is more. Atmosphere and location is great and the personnel smiley and available. We took one menù por 2 personas (30€), spring rolls and 2 postres: Moji te verde and mousse white chocolate. Everything amazing!

Was craving for some Japanese food while traveling in Spain. I would say the quality of the raw fish was okay, acceptable considering its location. But the sashimi lacked the sweetness of high quality raw fish. The rolls were good. Good CP though.

Been here twice already because they do TEMPURA properly. Like real Japanese tempura. I would say this is the BEST tempura available in barcelona

I'd rather put 1 star, so their score lowers down and less people go there, BUT, being honest, is one of the best sushi I ate in Barcelona specially for that price

Edamame tasted old (how is that possible?) & ramen was ok but not amazing. What really irked me was charging double for the bottle of saki vs the list cost, and - get this - a 31% gratituity!!!! No wonder they’re not very busy…..
Had a sweet and sour soup, was very nice and took the gyozas and salmon sushi for takesway, very high standard food, and the workers were very nice too, would recommend trying!
While I didn’t mind having to stand at the entrance for several minutes before being seated, I did struggled with the menu.. rather overwhelming. And while creativity and diversity are good in a menu, here is more a confusing mix and match. The sushi I ordered where rather classic and still no flavour. The veggie dumplings on the other side were spectacular. In summary, it seems almost they are trying too hard to be cool and different but the quality is not there

Awful food, mediocre service and they ripped us off by charging 2.80 euros for each bottle of water. Please avoid at all costs. Terrible experience!

Always a great experience. Highly recommend the lunch menu, 15€ (July 2023) and you get a starters with two main courses and dessert. The quality of the sushi is really good, and the lunch menu is filling. I recommend to come here before 13:30h as it gets packed and they don’t accept reservations…

Ordered the menu of the day. The salad was a good portion, the california roll was 8 pieces!, and the vegetable tempura was very plentiful! All very delightful!
The only thing that wasn’t good wasn’t good was the green tea cake. It was so dry and would probably taste better with some condensed milk or ice cream.
Aside from the dessert, everything was great and for a good price! Service was excellent as well!

It’s been my go-to fresh and clean sushi fix the last few months. They’re consistent and the hot dishes are quite nice too. Happy to be a new loyalist.

The food was REALLY good. I've been to many sushi places in Barcelona and this was one of the best. Well presented, great quality-price.
But most importantly, the service was AWESOME. From the manager to the waiters, everyone was there to ensure you had a great time. A must-go in Barcelona :)

Great, cosy place with a friendly host. The atmosphere has that "feels like home" vibe, and it was one of the places where we didn't feel like tourists. Both food and drinks were spot on! Keep it up!
If you love the flavours of Japan, you must visit Kibuka, literally my favourite sushi place in Barcelona! I will not get tired of coming here! Specially with our favourite waitress in town Aina, she is the top on service with always a great smile and efficiency! As recommendation, even if it sounds weird to say, their fish and chips - uramaki, is superb, don’t hesitate on that one!
Very rude server, never again will step in this place ! Paid for drinks and did not let us share a dish, what place gets to decide when there you eat or not or whenever you share or not!
Really amazing experience! We ordered the special set for a lot of good quality food. All the dishes were beautiful and tasty, and the waiter and waitress were lovely. Would highly recommend and visit again.
The food was rather good but the service was very slow and the waiters were not all that pleasant(maybe because they were stressed?) - we waited more than 30 min before we got the first dish. We sat near the bar and saw the chef put out the sushi and the waiters took forever to bring it to the table. Maybe it was just exceptionally busy, but still it spoiled our experience.

I had a lunch with my spouse following the good review we saw at Google Maps but we were really disappointed, the food was too fried, not really good quality and the service really really slow. They only had one guy doing the sushi. We. Have right down the street but we are not going to come anymore.

Compared to most Sushi places in Barcelona, Kibuka is places itself price-wise on the higher end. It’s not the most expensive, but also definitely not the cheapest. But is it worth it? Uff, absolutely! These guys and girls don’t disappoint. Food, service, ambience, decoration, just overall a great experience.

It was an all star performance, waiter was perfectly attentive and kind, wait was not even a thing, sushi’s were kinda magic, we didn’t pay much for having our stomach ready to explode, I recommend 100% it was the second best restaurant of sushi I’d been in my entire life thanks for that Toyo

Though it is a bit price and not all you can eat. It is one of the best sushi places I went to in Spain. One of the best soft shell crab (spider) roll I ever had. I am so glad that I was able to come here and I would highly recommend it.
The quality of the food is great. The choice is reallyamazin: sushi, sashimi but also Japanese main courses with fresh ingredients.
I had delicious mails and the price is actually quite low. I strongly recommend this restaurant. You can choose to either eat inside or outside. The atmosphere in the restaurant could be improved. That is something I hope the owner will work on.

Fantastic sushi, probably one of the best sushi in the world with that price. We had 7 course meals for 35euro in total for two people. Can’t beat this! Friendly and helpful staff!
We had some excellent food with a good service and at a reasonable price.
The portions are really big I can't complain about that, but for my taste the food was missing salt. The yakisoba were okay but the rice with breaded pork it had almost no taste, there was no sauce just a bunch of onions... We also asked some sides like gyozas which they were good and also fried shrimps which they were 10€ and only 5 shrimps in there and the rest breaded vegetables to make it seem bigger.

Wonderful place, very authentic and loving owners. I happened to grab one of the magazines that were by the entry -free to read as long as you’re a customer- and the owner told me about how original they were, and man, it was so interesting. He was so kind! The food now, it was fantastic and the portions were very very generous. We were served fast and nicely. Pets are also allowed inside, which made it easier for me to find a cool place for both of us to relax and eat well. Really loved it here, I recommend it! :)
This has to be a restaurant in the list of legendary restaurants of the world that withstand the test of time. I came here as a child in 2002 and 20 years later everything taste the same, meaning delicious AF. Like, for instance the Karaage chicken must be a millenarian recipe recovered from a forgotten ruler’s imperial kitchen in a distant Asian land because it makes my eyes twirl backwards every time I eat it.

The place is Very small, few seats and a couple of tables outside, the service was awful, the guy in the front was very rude, and the food at least what I try (yakisoba) was good but nothing extraordinary!
Food is not bad but average at best. Customer service was poor, it’s a buffet a la carte but upon ordering more food we were intensely questioned if we were going to finish our food we already had (which was just a few pieces). Waiter then called 3 chefs out to rudely look at us and discuss between themselves in their language. Was completely unnecessary and rude considering we finished all the food ordered. All in all, I guess you get what you pay for.

We were here before covid and it was amazing. Unfortunately the quality of the food was poor. Salmon was not tasty and hard to chew through. Sauces, rice were fine though.

I absolutely recommend. The food was delicious! All you can eat buffet for a reasonable price. The waiter is very friendly and helpful, they treat their customers very well. The restaurant is decorated very nice and its clean. I also liked the little drawings by the cashier, very cute. One of the best sushi places in Barcelona, and I've been too many of them 😄 thank you

We come here every time we visit Barcelona and are never disappointed. Due to covid they are currently not doing the all you can eat buffet but a set menu for €12.95 which includes a beer or wine. The quality and variety it great and we always leave extremely full. Would highly recommend

Good food at reasonable prices. Ambience and services are good as well. Menu of the day is affordable and very tasty. Starter with 3 course and a dessert. Each plate is good portion for one person. Not many vegetarian options but they were willing to adjust for some of the dishes.
Best sushi/japanese buffet option in the area. The sushi is pretty good also the big variety of hot dishes like yakisoba or fried options.

Not authentic Japanese but the taste and the presentation are all good. 3.5 stars. I found their not having udon but only yakisoba a bit disappointing. A bit too expensive when we had 30% off but still paid almost €50 for 3 plates. This money could have spent in another more authentic good place! I suppose this place is nice for groups of 3-5 people to share food

Food is served very quick and hot! My favourite sushi’s are Fukuoka & kokoro Kai and definitely tori no karage . Have been here for more than 20 times till now. My go to sushi place in Barcelona. I liked the way how they cared about our comfort and taste. Chef Manroka really listens to how you like it and tailor makes it as per your taste. There is an offer on fork app and you can get 30% discount on the meal

Excellent restaurant to eat! Clean, not expensive and the food was super good. Our waitress Marianela was really good and gave us good beer options.

Of all the places we ate in 3 months, this has got to be the worse. We ordered udon but got linguini noodles; for ramen, we got a kind of wonton egg noodle. It was super pricey for a half bowl portion and so salty that we could not swallow the broth. We purchased Nonshim instant noodle elsewhere and honesty, it was better than this place. It will cost you €3.5 for a bowl of miso soup. Major rip off! Will never return. There are plenty of better options nearby. Save your money. Stay away from this place. There is nothing authentic here.

Well priced food of good quality. Staff helped with my English ignorance and in ability to speak Spanish or Catalan. Food comes when it's ready, we ordered the deal with 4 dishes per person, this was plenty even if your super hungry.
Best menu and buffet around. Plenty of value for the money. Midday offer with any four dishes from the menu for 10,90€, drink and dessert included. Good food, service is quick and friendly. Decoration is nice, the place can get really loud at middays.
Cheaters! Faking they dont know english and later I'm getting plate of noodles with 1 prawn for 6€! After noticing and begginh i got 6 more. I saw locals got bigger portion! Why the approach to non spanish people is so different and disrespectful! Quality is quite good but service covered it in very wrong way!

Food was good, and exactly as advertised. Service was terribly slow, though, and we were waiting almost an hour for a couple sushi rolls and some rice. I also asked for a cafe latte and it took about 45 minutes, meaning it would be cold by the time the food was ready, nevermind the wait.

Located in Les Corts area nearby the El Corte Ingles department store. Serves good fresh sushi dishes all day long. Affordable prices and clean restaurant overall. Service level is good, sometimes when it gets crowed there is a short wait. I'll go again if I visit that part of the city.

Came here on a Saturday night and the menu has promotions for 4 plates for 12.95 so we were 2 and ordered 8 plates. when we went to pay they insisted on charging full price because we didn't mention we wanted to take the promotion. be aware because they are money hungry and will try to rip you off because you are a tourist.

Out of 9 pieces of sushi, only 4 contained any fish. The rest were cucumber or cucumber/avocado. Miso soup was watery and probably straight out of the box. Definitely not the best sushi around. Nice setting in the restaurant though.
I ordered Cyasyu ramen. The soup taste is ok but the roasted pork on top has a funny taste and texture, more Chinese than Jp as I reckon. As the name ‘Chan’ implies, no wonder a lack of Japanese endeavor can be tasted! The place is also a bit shabby.
Popped in for a meal and n a quiet Thursday Evening. Great service, very friendly lady serving. Food was excellent best we have had for a long while. Highly recommended.

Really loved the sushi house menu for two. Excellent quality price ratio. The staff was helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was really cosy. The spicy tuna maki is a must.
It is a small place, but very nice. Good for the set menu for lunch. The quality of the food is very good. Not suitable for groups bigger than 4 people. A good think it is that is quiet.
Respectful Japanese cuisine, with good service - compared to other Jap restaurants - and very fresh ingredients. Great quality-price standard
The food quality is average to high, where most dishes are high. The portions are very big, and the prices are lower than average in similar restaurants. The place is not very pretty, but the food quality compensates it. Even if it's full they can make room for you or take you to their second restaurant which is 10m away. If you are hungry or you fancy a good Asian meal I would totally recommend this place for you. If you are looking for a place to chill in a cool ambient i would not recommend it.
