Unfortunately, I found the individual on duty to be lacking in effective communication skills and providing subpar customer service. The guy who works at the night shift seemed uninterested and displayed a noticeable level of rudeness, which left me quite dissatisfied with the overall experience.

I believe it’s crucial to address such issues to maintain the high standard of customer service your company is known for. I hope that appropriate measures can be taken to ensure a more positive interaction for customers in the future.

This store always has the shelves empty and they say they do not have the products when they also have a huge pile of boxes waiting to be opened. Worst service ever

Their plant based meat products are not kept correctly. There are expired and molded packages on the shelf... I picked the Impossible sausage that is not expired on package but it was obviously sour and expired when I tasted it. The store don't properly keep their food, in this case, they didn't freeze the package. They also don't go through the shelves and instead selling expired products.
A mix between an old time general store and modern buffet. The food is good and they have a wide variety of health products.

. I asked for a day off she wouldn’t give me and paid me 300 a week
, one time she gave me $200 couldn’t even paid my rent I never went back . Treatment was poor lucky she have a good husband. She’s bad for business!
3 stars for the flavor of the cakes. The prices however is overly expensive in comparison to other places selling vegan pastries. I offered to buy a whole cake for a party and they charged me more for whole cake than I would've paid per slice. I haven't been back since.
The customer service was horrible. The young lady that I spoke to. Had no knowledge of most of the products. And seemed like she was doing me a favor by assisting me with finding the products I was looking for. The items are expensive. I would do better going to the vitamin shoppe or GNC.

Worst store in the town! The guy name shive is really rude and do not care about customer. He also not aware of what products GNC has! He claimed that he is the owner of the store and can do whatever he feels like. He also threatened me saying go complain to franchise hence he do not care about this well respected franchise!

This store should get 0 star! Do not come here to shop! The employee who works here is mad rude and do not offer any promotions which other stores does. Also he does not care about customer who is a regular customer. His behavior towards everyone was really really rude!

Workers look like they’re never in a helpful mood nor do they want to be at work. None of them seem to be educated on any of the products they’re there to sell and every question I have is answered with i don’t know or I’m not sure. Hire better staff….I’m embarrassed by how this location is run.
They have everything you need regarding vitamins and suplements.
Convenient location.
Parking next door.
No restrooms.
Prices are like anywhere, no significant difference.
Sometimes they have special offers: buy one, the second one 50% off.
I will be calling 311 to report this business because they are wicked. Do not support this business place. On 06/18/2022, I bought a colon and liver cleanser along with a bitters for $85. I didn't mind the price because anything good for your body carries a price anyhow; while I was there waiting for the woman to get the three items together, the woman started up a conversation with me, asking if I knew anywhere to rent and my view on the pandemic etc. Knowing the type of person I am, I assumed it was a genuine conversation. Nevertheless, the woman collected the money, and she asked if I would like a bag, and I said yes. She then pick up the two little bottles and bend over to grab a bag which could not see behind the counter, and I did not suspect any foul play. I collect the bag and I exited the business place. Upon returning to home later that day, I decided to try the bitter after my meal. When I opened the bag and took the three items I bought out of the bag, I noticed that one of the bottles did not have a seal (when the woman showed me the items, they all had seals on them). I said to myself that was my fault I should have double check but what caught my eyes was even my shocking and disgusting the same bottle that has the broken seal, the expiration date was long gone since 05/2021. I decided to call the number for the business place, and at first I was able to leave a voice message. Then, about an hour later, I decided to call again, and the number kept I going to voicemail. I will never support this place again.

GREAT SHOP, DISASTROUS EMPLOYEE - This is my go-to store for supplements in Astoria. However, staff member by the name of ASIF has REPEATEDLY, and with an attitude, demonstrated a reckless disregard for customers. In my years going to the store he's messed up personal data from my store account, been rude and dismissive and charged my card incorrectly. All done in a defiant way. The Vitamin Shoppe is an excellent business, they shouldn't have employees who ruin the experience and reputation with such negligent and objectively despicable behavior.
The food is so good. I try to go once a week even though the Belt Parkway traffic is horrendous. I love it. And the strawberry shortcake is to die for! Oh my it's so good and light.
I live nearby this local Vitamin Shoppe and the ladies that work there were very nice and accommodating to the certain products that I was looking for. Shout out to them!

I came to the GNC on 82st because the one on 76th st closed for good. I got there at 6:57pm and a sign on the door said they close at 7pm even though online it says 8pm. The cashier had two guys inside checking out and didn’t want to let me in because he said they were closed. I said I just want protein powder can I grab it really fast he rolled his eyes and said ok. When checking me out he was very rude. Older guy with gray hair. I’ve been a member of GNC for over 5 years and never dealt with such horrible customer service. Please train your staff to be friendlier next time.

This store should be shut down. They never offer you the promotions GNC has going, always full price. The never ask you if you are a member or if you would like to join. The man in this store is very rude! I would not recommend this store. Shop at any other GNC Store.

This morning i ordered a smoothie so the rude lady filled up my cup then the blender had about a quarter left so i asked her is she going to drink the rest she replies dont worry about. Rude rude rude i payed for that smoothie its not my fault u made extra. The remainings are suppose to go to the customer we paided for that. 0 stars for that dept.

I purchased two bottles here about two months ago. The consistency of the merchandise was extremely poor. Many of the capsules had little to no “medication” in them. Almost 50% of one bottle had capsules that weren’t close to full as compared with the other capsules.

Both were labeled GNC. Either this is a problem with GNC or the store is mislabeling merchandise. I have met heard of this problem in the last so I am putting it down to this specific store.
Organic + natural - preservatives = pricey! Particularly for food you get what you pay for. It’s the difference between Western Beef supermarket and Whole Food. The difference is real food. With that said customer service is everything, especially when there are other options available (although very few vegan/vegetarian options). There is a gentleman and another man (Rasta with the thick accent) who are very pleasant and helpful. I don’t like the buffet style set up because the food dries out or looks old when it is freshly cooked. The non-GMO, supplements and vegan options are plentiful and much appreciated! Lastly the vegan cake selection is excellent and the best vegan cakes I have seen and tasted. There’s always room for improvement. Your efforts to improve the people’s health and well being has not gone unnoticed.
So happy to have a place like this in our neighborhood. The staff is always super helpful, knowledgeable on the products and willing to recommend items for any need, ailment, etc.

Old guy seems like a know it all and has a problem with talking politely/professionally. Definitely needs to work on grumpiness. Otherwise a wealth of knowledge and knows his stuff. If your looking for something in particular call in advance. Clean well stocked store

Very enthusiastic and pleasant salespeople. My mistake was to not compare the same product from other competitors; the items here were much more expensive, even though they advertised better price matching. Very misleading promotion.

So I usually like going to this store but today has made me realize why I will shop online for now on. Had ordered from the vitamin Shoppe on steinway a product that has been missing from their store for a while now. It has been about almost two weeks since I made this special order. They tell me it will be delivered to the store and they will call me when it arrives. So I decided to walk into the store after it being a week and a half and come to find out they have the product in stock.
I then begin to head to the counter and informed the worker that I had this item on special order and since it is here now I would like to take it. I was then inform that I would have to pay for it by my surprise. I begin to tell the worker I already paid for it why would I have to pay for it again it makes no sense the worker then begin to say how oh but we did not got any shipment yet I said but it is right here right now.
Then his assistant felt she needed to chime in and say oh but that is for the store yours was special order and comes in some plain box. And that the ones in stock now are for the store. I then begin to ask well how much longer will my own that I already paid come in the guy said the next shipment is being held up because of snow. I then ask well if I get the product now how soon will I get my money credited back to my account he told me one week one week when they wanted my money for the special order same day hmmm so I left and will be just shopping vitamin Shoppe from online don't have time for bad customer service smh.

Books, soaps, juice, you can find almost anything here. I love this place. They even have homemade kombucha, a backyard seating and meditation goodies. 😘
A lot of the items are overpriced, but there is a great selection. It's local and convenient. The buffet and the meat/butcher area are great additions to the standard grocery options.

I purchased Performix and the bottle was open. I wanted an exchange and the store manager was rude and refused to honor the store policy. I called the regional office and they told me that they would handle the matter and to go to the GNC at Woodhaven blvd and Metropolitan ave that they do honor the store policies.
A great store!

I was walking down Broadway, on my way to catch a bus to LGA for a flight, when I had the thought that I needed a couple health-related items -- and then, a minute later, I stumble across Greenbay Essentials. (Ask and ye shall receive, right?) What's more, they not only had everything I needed (including some hard-to-find goodies), but prices were reasonable, and there was even a juice/coffee bar and a delightful garden dining area (where I took the chance to rest up before finishing my trek to Roosevelt Station). To top off my experience, the folks in the store were friendly and kind.

In a nut: no problems, and I'd definitely stop by again.

I gave it 3 stars because it's great to find more venues that offer true vegetarian food.

I read the reviews here about the place so I thought I would check it out. Grant it I did arrive about an hour before closing time, however my experience was mediocre at best. The food was ok, the one staff member who was there was dismissive and just looked tired on her feet, however that is not the best way to leave a first impression. Not to mention the food was overpriced.

Anyways, I will try to give it another opportunity, maybe in the morning. It won't be for the buffet though. Maybe this review will inspire, refresh and renew. Namaste

Great customer service and they have vast product knowledge. The manager is very interractive, also they havent been pushy the times i didn't need help. All the displays are very nice as well
