they definitely changed owners. Not the same place, does not serve the same menus anymore.
Waitresses seem to wear different uniforms now too, however restaurant sign is the same from outside.
Bbq had like 8 meat options to choose. None of them were good. Meat was hard, dry. Sauce was not special. Side dishes had more options however nothing special or good.
Table booked at 7, got in at 7:15~
Waitresses were quite slow, but there were only a few of them so understandable.
If you’re looking at the old menu this is not the place. Wonder why they havent updated their website or sign.

Normally, I am reluctant to go to cheap Korean BBQs and am a loyal regular to Kobe Wagyu BBQ (although that's Japanese) but at more than half the price, I have to say it that Kobe was definitely not twice as good as Butchers.

Yes, they don't have fresh sashimi and not the top grade meats Kobe is famous for but they have a better selection of marinated meats, and if you get there early, you get some quality cuts of wagyu too. They have unlimited uncooked banana prawns, a good variety of cooked food, fried prawns, salads and condiments.

The service is attentive for how busy they are but we had a gas cylinder that was almost out to start with which ruined the first batch of meat we cooked and they come far too often to change the cooking plates which means the temperature drops again. They should really train their staff to wait till the meat is cooked before they change the plates.

Nevertheless, the value is excellent for the price and will be back!

Seated in 15 minutes for 10 people on a Saturday night for a birthday dinner with no reservation, waiter was very accommodating and communicative with wait times.

Grills were changed consistently and heat was great on the grills.

Amazing range of high quality meats and sides to go with the dishes and the fried chicken is very good here.

Decent selection of meats and side dishes for all you can eat yakiniku - with a seating time limit.

Some of the wagyu cuts are really tasty, the selection of sushi and sashimi is okay. Other small dishes like the lotus chips are pretty nice!

If you’re looking for a good buffet in CBD, then you must try this restaurant. I’ve been here several times and every-time I came to this restaurant feels like first time.

We came in as walked in on weekends and as expected they are fullybooked and we were told the next table available is around 8pm but then here’s the tip!

You can book a table via phone call and if you like to have early time inform the reception upon making the booking for any cancellation in any time slots (or specified time) to call you and prioritised you.

This is the exact what happened to us, we came in and no tables… so I decided to call to book the 8pm then inform the reception for any early table vacant to call me… To my surprised, few minutes later they called again informing for a table available… instead of 8pm then we got 7pm table 😀

They have 3 categories of buffet that you can choose and I always like the Premium because of the wagyu beef and beef offered!

They have wide and plenty of food options for Premium around 115 choices if not mistaken.

I recom to have the Thin Slice Wagyu! and All beef slices!! I like the idea that you have to use the tablet to order and note order only when you need it cause they charge for wastage.

For the Dessert, I recom any of the ice cream but not the sorbet 🍨.

First time. But I loved the quality of the food. Personally, I'm a meat lover and I was very happy with the quality of the meat. We will definitely visit again. Next time, I will upload more photos.

The fried stuff aren't bad. Onion rings are ok and the Soy fried chicken quite great. Good selections of meat as well, and taste just ok.

Fried rice was decent as well as the other entree type food. No complaints really.

What they could work on is generally the way to cook the meat and service. The flame from the grill isn't strong as theyre trying to finish the gas to the last drop. Which means the meat aren't charring. It's cook, just not charred.

Everytime you call the staff to change the grill plate, it feels like you're bothering them.

Overall, there could be improvements but good enough for the price and taste.

I can say I am a regular customer here because I always go here once a week.
Always love to having dinner here and every time I ordered a premium but lately probably a month, foods are tasting not the same anymore. Seafood not fresh as it was, tako wasabi so smelly. Low quality cheese, IDK what happened but most of the things kinda like you tried to cut off all the cost. And of course I feel the food quality it not deserved to the price I spent.

Arisa is the best customer service ever. All staff nice and helpful even sometimes they hard to understand but can say they tried so hard for their job.

If you’re an owner and you see this, please consider to change everything back to the same before it is getting worse. I still want to go to your restaurant because of all the service and I hope your food tasty like before.

a lot of choices of meat and other fried dishes. Usually crowded but you don't have to wait too long. Staffs are friendly and attentive. Prices are so reasonable for a buffet restaurant. Love it

outstanding BBQ dining experience, we ordered the Premium set, was it worth it yes but be aware of the following
- Meat and seafood is semi-defrosted, meat will take time to cook through but tha'ts no problem with flat grill surface
- Order everything anything sooner than later, ie when your 50% remaining on the table of ingredients order ahead especially when restaurant is busy or you will wait
- sauce station get your salt/pepper/chilli spice to season your meat while cooking
- Yuzu sorbet more, more, more perfect ending to the meal
- SUPER FRIENDLY attentive service!

Great selection of tasty fresh food, great atmosphere. They offer a student discount during school days, considering that you come dressed in school uniform and write a google review for them. The manager was extremely pushy about me writing a positive review for them to get the discount, and for this reason, it pretty much ruined the whole experience. I probably won’t be returning.

Convenient location, fresh food and variety of options. They have really amazing variety of meat cuts and BBQ setup’s. Highly recommended for family and friends gathering.

The feast was an orchestra of flavors, and the free beverage was a refreshing concerto. Though the attendants were helpful, the raucous ambience sometimes made communication an obstacle course. Alas, the men's lavatory was a putrid dragon's lair, with toilet paper rough as a cat's tongue. Nevertheless, the price was a bargain for the succulent meat selection. All in all, it was a memorable experience!

This is my second visit, I had a great experience the first time and had great things to say. I even brought a friend who I’d hope would love it too. This second experience was very disappointing. Frozen meat, short changing your time and staff who does not want to hear honest feedback.

The meat arrived frozen which is a sign of poor quality. The size of plates have shrunk. One serving of mushrooms is 3 quartered slices of one small button mushroom - not even a full mushroom.

We did not get our 90min and were rushed out. We arrived at 5:40pm, by 6:30pm we saw it was the last order and at 6:55pm the staff said we had 3 mins left because they had others waiting. This means we only had 80 min to eat but paid for the full 90 min buffet. Short by 10 min. I remember there use to be a timer showing your seating and how much time you have left. This feature has been removed. Removing transparency is a sign of dishonesty. Also our dessert came 5min before we were due to leave based on their time and having our plates cleared and tables moved to make room for the new guest as soon as we put our plate down is unwelcoming and ensures no return.

When asked if our dinner was ok, the lady at the register was dismissive and argumentative when told her were short changed by 10min. Her response was “but we told you”, and argued that because she told us we only had a few minutes left and there were other waiting left, it was ok to shorten our 90min buffet time to 80min. This is unacceptable in principle - should they want to seat someone else, then would it be ok to shorten a current guests time by 15-20min? No - so why is 10 mins ok? If guest can only get their full 90min by arriving every half hour then don’t seat us.

A note to management - When receiving constructive feedback, a simple acknowledgment for example, “we’re sorry, I hope you’d come again” would suffice.

Overall this yakiniku is below average. I don’t recommend it. Save your money and go somewhere else. Ending dinner with an argument at the till for giving honest feedback is not how you want to end your night.

Good Japanese BBQ buffet!! They have different prices according to how many kinds of things you can choose. 60 kinds, 80 kinds and 100 kinds. We picked 60 kinds, which is $58 per adult. I love their meat and mushrooms. Also some Japanese snacks and dishes are pretty good. But you need to order more one time, or you need to wait for a long time to get your order. And you have nothing to eat when you guys re waiting. So try to order more on the first time. Services here is preset good, they are nice and friendly. Overall, it’s a good place to spend your time with friends or families. Recommend!

Its a Japanese buffet, and depending on which packages u chose it will exclude certain things. We went with the premium because u don't do this often.
Overall the food was good and staff was really friendly.
Our packages gave use the option for sashimi and wagyu cuts. The wagyu isn't the top of the range, which is expected since its not overly expensive.
One thing I found different here was you can order ramen as well.
You have 90 mins in total to eat and last order is 20 mins. Ull have to take into account of cooking time and time required to order and arrive at the table. In saying that we found 45 mins into the dinner we were getting pretty full and had to slow down.
Drinks are not included in the price.
