I looked at other reviews of this place, and I questioned if I really wanted to go there. People talked about excessively long wait time, dry burgers, etc. They don't know what they're saying. Immediately, the servers greeted me, and said I could sit anywhere. I took a seat, got my drink, and ordered. I got the reuben burger. It was absolutely fantastic. I got it in reasonable time too. It was a treat that seems to get a bad rap, but it was a great experience. I even got a mint for free after dinner. Very happy, would reccomend.

Don't let the looks keep you away. Back home we'd call this burger restaurant a "hole in the wall." It not only has the best burger in town, it also has the best prices. Don't expect to get your food quickly. Everything is cooked to order but the burgers are so good, you won't mind the wait. Try to get Alma as your waitress. She's a local and can even explain why the angle parking is backwards. While everything is tasty be sure to try the onion rings. They are perfect. Has to be the last place in America where you can get a half pound burger and fries for $14. We will definitely return.

Think of your favorite burger place. The Brakeman is better.

Always delicious. You can’t go wrong with any burger. I like getting the side salad instead of fries, then order a side or two of fries for the table. It can be a long wait time, but worth it every time.

Well, unfortunately my experience here was less than great. My group all ordered burgers and the lady who took the order was less than pleased with our request and seemed very put out that we were ordering food at all. We all ordered our burgers well done and we all got our burgers with pink. What we did eat of our burgers was good and the fries were delicious, however, she refused to give us any fry sauce or ranch so we ate them dry. According to my cousin, this is very typical behavior from the waitress. If you’re so inconvenienced by customer requests, maybe think about working where there is limited customer interaction. Just a thought.

The place has a great look to it and great atmosphere. The food was awesome. I recommend the onion rings and buffalo burger. Another recommendation would be to try the Yellowstone burger. Overall it’s a great place and the only reason I took off 1 star was because of the long wait.

A must stop after a day on the ski hill or hiking the mountains!!! Small town at its BEST!! The Burgers are hearty, real BEEF, and loaded with every favorite add you can think of!! The fries are thin cut and served hot and delicious!! They have a small but ample selection of IPA local brews. Restaurant was full at dinner, the waitress was busy, attentive, thorough and on point for taking care of so many so kindly and professionally. Like others said, it may not be “fast” but good food takes some time.

Seriously tasty burger and really nice wait staff. It smelled so good in there while we waited for our food. The beer selection was pretty good too.

We visit here almost every time we're in town. It's the best burger place we have ever been. Huge burgers that are great for sharing or saving for leftovers or for filling up on after a long day of activities!

The grilled cheese smash burger was amazing! I asked for Gruyère instead of Swiss because I’m just not a fan of Swiss. Sydney was happy to make the change for me. The food came out super hot and fresh. The cheese was melting down the sides of a really perfectly seasoned burger. The fries were crispy and fresh as heck. Also got to try some local brews that I really enjoyed. One bonus feature is that the chairs have wheels so you don’t have to awkwardly scoot lol

Food, atmosphere and staff was excellent!
I had the Britti tacos and house salad. It was delicious. My man friend had the WSY burger and he liked it as well. The decor is very eclectic and cool. Highly recommend stopping for a drink and some good food.

I would rate this experience as 0 stars. We've visited this place a few times in the past, and it was good, but today's service was shockingly awful. We waited for 20 minutes before a waitress finally came over after another had promised to return. They served one entree promptly but took an additional 15 minutes for the other two orders, leaving us without our drinks until the end.. It took another 10 minutes for my food, by which time it had gone cold. The second waitress who messed up our orders didn't return; instead, someone else handled it. Our third waitress was kind and apologetic but couldn't resolve the issues. We spoke to the manager, who offered a "discount" but refused to comp the tacos, which was all we requested. Their explanation was that the two new waitresses had only received an hour of training, which seems inadequate. This was a terrible service experience, and the food wasn't that great either. We later spoke with the owner, who didn't acknowledge any issues and charged us the full price. To top it off, when we mentioned writing a negative review, the manager threw my partner's card at him. I would strongly advise against dining here, especially after having recommended it to our family. It was an embarrassing letdown.

Fun bar/ restaurant. I ordered the Birria Tacos and they were delicious. Place has many TV’s for the sports enthusiast, channels had everything from horse racing to football, ect. They have an outdoor patio that is huge and comfortable. Would I come again. Hell ya!!!!

Ordered couple of entrees and appetizers. Most of the food tasted average. Sausage was very dry and couldn't really enjoy it and the Cubano sandwich has heavy mustard taste to it. Jalapeño rolls were the best of the three. People were friendly and the service was great.

Yes, when you arrive in the parking lot your eye will be drawn to the old bus. Yet the inside of the building is more interesting. Kind of a modern barn coolness look. There's a fun feel to the place. When you sit down you'll quickly notice that the chairs have wheels! It makes for comfortable seating and eating. Splash some retro with the squeeze ketchup and mustard bottles. This place is about great food and fun. The waitress was fun and had great beer recommendations. I liked the food on a lined tray concept keeping the piles of food from getting away from you.
I went for the Reuben and onion rings. The rings had a light, clean batter that was tasty. The reuben was excellent. Bread had a nice chew, The meat was thick cut, nice, with excellent cheese and kraut.
Fellow diner had the buffalo chicken sandwich that was like getting two sandwiches in one! The third diner had a cowboy burger that satisfied.
Looking around the bar shelves seemed to have a large selection of alcohol displayed.
Music was good and at just enough volume to keep conversations local to the tables.

Great people and great food. Our first night in Victor we stopped here for dinner. No wait, though the place was busy. I had the hot Italian sandwich with the rosemary fries both which were delicious! Hubby had mac n cheese with pork which was equally good. Other couple had chicken Ceasar salad (which was HUGE) and cheese burger which they both enjoyed. Huckleberry drinks topped off a great meal. Would definitely go back.

Dan, the best bartender ever, took great care of us! Our beer, burgers, and rosemary fries were fabulous! The decor is amazing with lots of custom steel work including the furniture!
