Bakery is good.
Disorganisation and lack of service is even better.
If you like to see almost 10 tables empty and you like to be kept waiting outside in the sun with waiters not even answering your questions this is the place for you.
Even mums with babies were kept waiting and when asking if they could at least take the seat the reply was a rude “not yet”.
When you finally manage to get a seat (in the meantime the next glaciation era is over) you still need to wait another 30 minutes before someone thinks it’s worth it to show his face and take an order.
Happy breakfast.

Gelsomina offers tasty pastries and good coffee. The place is popular and often crowded, so it's a good idea to reserve a table in advance. The maritozzo is a must-try if you're a pastry lover.😉
(Madagascar)
Warm day in Milan brought us to the cafe where we had fresh juice and coffee the service was excellent and the staff were also ready to serve inside the place is adorable and has many different delicious treats

Extremely rude waiter Mikele.Serving area outside.
Have to be more friendly with foreign clients ,who doesn’t know local rules.
Pastries taste average.

Super yummy pastry, great coffee, beautiful interior, WiFi and plugs. Would be perfect but the woman running the counter was extremely rude and angry and it kind of ruined everything. The waiter also got my order wrong but I don’t speak Italian so it’s fine.
I enjoyed the experience. They have a lot of coffee options for great pairing. However, the dessert was too sweet for me.
I loved them but the taste of the Egyptian Mediterranean dessert still didnt reach.. Its delicious nothing to say but not the perfect taste i was thinking it will be..
I ask for Basboussa and Kunafa
About the Basboussa i didnt feel its it the basboussa used to eat in Egypt it is like alittle more like Bassima.. But the Kunafa was delicious.. But in these 2 items the sugar was very light which is fine for here in Italy (they dobt like heavy sugar in the dessert) but as Egyptian i didnt get satisfied from basboussa and sugar taste on the items
Generally they are great but May be i will go to taste other items when i can
Fantastic service. Kind helpful staff, speak good English. Food was fantastic, fresh and beautiful flavours. Good value for money, very happy, would definitely recommend!
Amazing kind people with great English foods was really good price and awesome flavours can't recommend enough
A short walk from the Duomo is this small standing café, great for a small coffee and pastry. The pistachio dessert zeppole moderne had a well-balanced pistachio flavor, not too sweet and the edible gold flakes are a nice cosmetic touch. Service was also fast and staff were pleasant!

Super consigliata! Conosco personalmente
Personale molto gentile e accogliente.

In poche parole, pasticceria consigliata!😊🎂🍰🧁
Numeri 1.
Torta buonissima e bellissima, sono stati super gentili e veramente disponibili. Prezzi ottimi. Grazie di cuore!
Iginio Massari's pastry shop is a masterpiece of culinary artistry. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an array of exquisite pastries that are as beautiful as they are delicious. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the pastries, from their delicate textures to their complex flavors.

The atmosphere of the pastry shop is warm and inviting and has a friendly staff. The value for money is great, prices are good for the quality offered.

Overall, I cannot recommend Iginio Massari's pastry shop highly enough. It's a true gem in the world of Italian pastries, and a must-visit destination for anyone who appreciates the finer things in life.
Very delicious baklava - almost as good as baklava in Istanbul. Lots of variety as well. Only a few chairs for sitting. Worth it if you want high end baklava in Milan.

This was my first outing in Milan. Their coffee is undeniably the best I’ve ever had. I had a coffee and a pistachio brioche on my first morning in the city, and it was incredible. I’ve since had to go back and tried their quiche Lorraine which I genuinely believe may be one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I will go back again tomorrow for the quiche purely because it’s been on my mind since I tried it. Friendly staff, kind smiles to welcome in any customer and quick service. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice café.

I loved the vibe and the yummy products offered. Had a fantastic cappuccino for just 2,50€ and a small cake. Bit strange is that one needs to order at a counter while one has no clue what the name of the products is. The hot chocolate with cream also looked just delicious.

One of the most famous pasticceria in Milano. The shop is located in via Monte Napoleone in the middle of the top brands. You can see the heritage inside with exquisite pastries. In the middle a very nice bar serving incredible coffee. They also have place to sit and order and eat in there.

Very nice place, and friendly staff
We had avocado scrambled egg toast it was very nice, big portion size, but pricey 11€
Pistachio Maritozzo really good 5€
They serve Americano as an espresso and hot water on the side 1.5€
Cappuccino was huge 1.8€

They extra charge 1€ per person

Cons: setting inside is extremely noisy, loud music, outside is much better
Visited in October, it was crowded at 1pm
Ottima panetteria ! Tutto molto fresco ! Top Rating S&P BB+
It's one thing sourcing the best coffee beans (which they do), then roasting them to perfection (which they do), then using state-of-the-art equipment (which they do), in beautiful spaces (which they do). But it's quite another thing bringing all those elements together in the final product: a cortado that is so smooth, so delicious, so complex, so perfectly brewed that you'll walk for 30 minutes just to experience it again, again (which we did, and will do again and again – or, next time, just stay in a hotel closer to either of their stores). Go get your ultimate coffee fix from the masterfully skilled baristas at Cafezal – you'll thank me later!
a high-end specialty coffee in Milan, very well prepared but unfortunately didn’t have the best experience with the staff, they treated me differently than other costumers cause i’m not Italian and don’t speak the language either. They were very kind and bubbly with others, but cold when speaking to me.

The place looks very classy and the customer service is top notch. Prices are high, but it’s worth it for a special occasion. The ricotta cheese cake we bought was divine. We took it to-go.
Popped in for a couple flat whites and a croissant. The flat whites were very well made and the croissant was tasty. The outdoor patio was nice to sit on out front. The baristas were friendly and quick. Would come back again!
Great cafe with good coffee and atmosphere. Good outdoor seating as well. Highly recommend.
Full of enticing pastries, with a few tables inside and more outside b which I think you need to pay extra for. It’s a bit confusing to order since you need to look at what you want, then go to pay, and then go back to the counters to tell someone what you ordered. The prices are a bit high but the pastries were good. The people we interacted with were all helpful, including the guy at the bar.

Enjoyed this cafe many times, service is always amazing. Coffee tastes good and the brioche, on wow, they are the best in Milano. My favourites are pistachio and also cream/ chocolate. Many seats inside, and some outside although I’ve never sat on the street. Decor is incredible. Other nice cookies and cakes to try

This weekend I tried the adjacent gelato galleria, and I was so impressed by the size of the potions (small are huge). So many interesting flavours, some quite unique, one of the best gelato in the city

Highly recommended
Their rating is well deserved - excellent coffee, the custard croissant was delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. Worth noting there’s no WiFi if you need to connect but that doesn’t detract from the 5-star experience.

I recently had the pleasure of having breakfast at Marchesi 1824 cafe in Milan, Italy, and I must say it was a truly wonderful experience. The cafe offered a varied menu of delicious breakfast options.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff. Their warm and accommodating service added to the overall enjoyment of my visit. The breakfast itself was exceptional. The freshly brewed coffee was rich and flavorful, perfectly complementing the buttery and flaky croissant. The quality of the ingredients used was evident, and each bite was a delight.

The ambiance of the cafe was also worth mentioning. The tasteful decor, with elegant furnishings and classic design elements, exuded a sophisticated yet cozy atmosphere. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the meticulously placed cutlery to the elegant table settings, further enhanced the overall dining experience.

Overall, Marchesi 1824 cafe left a lasting impression on me with its wonderful breakfast options and impeccable service. If you are in Milan and looking for a place to enjoy a delicious breakfast in a charming setting, I highly recommend visiting this cafe.
Very nice place for breakfast pastry and coffee. You can even get delicious treats for takeout. The interior is quite nice and if you go there late morning, it is pretty empty and peaceful. Staff is welcoming and helpful.

There is no way of going in Milan and not having breakfast here. Cornettos, coffee and the service are perfect . Get the pink cake, it’s the most delicious thing I’ve had so far.👑
Perfect cafe when you’re on the go and want to a quick pastry to quench the hunger in your tummy. Efficient and fast service! Good pastries!

The chocolate pastry revived me before a long train ride!
Great! We went here several times during our stay in Milan. I would recommend this place to anyone! Super friendly and helpfull personel. No tourist trap. They kindly explain everything (or really try to if their english isnt that good). Their food and coffee tastes really great as well! And it is not expensive.
We were looking for a café where we can also buy coffee beans as a souvenir. This is a great place for it, the barista was very helpful with some advice. They speak English very well, they are nice and we observed that a lot of people are used to go there in the morning.
We had cappuccino, espresso, lemonade and some fresh breakfast pastry. The best coffee we tried during our stay in Milano, highly recommend!❤️
Had some delicious breakfast here. Great freshly baked food. I tried the pizza here and it was amazing. Also tried the chocolate filled croissant. All in all a great authentic experience.

Would definitely recommend and come back next time I’m in Milano

Scam! Tourist trap! I have never eaten a worse pizza in my life! Poor food! Poor service! Poor hygiene! They gave me Spaghetti claiming it is Tagliatelle! No respect for customers! And the bill 55€ 😳
The best gelato in Italy. I swear! I tried the pisstachio and salted caramel - both were superb. 100% recommend!
The coffee is delicious. I bought two bags of coffee and when i'm going back to my country and i brew it, it's really so good. Hidden gem in Milan, is hard to found specialty there.
Proper, quality coffee. I enjoyed my barrista made cappuccino and my partner's brewed Ethiopian coffee was flavoursome; perfectly brewed to a good strength, deep chocolate, velvety flavours with a hint of citrus.
We had a wonderful experience here. They offer fresh, smooth tasting coffee and beautiful pastries. The staff is also friendly and welling to help customers. It's a cozy, local cafe and welcome people.
Thank you for giving us a beautiful memory for honeymoon in Italy.
AVOID TO GO THERE!!!!
If I could give 0 I would give!!!! Super rude stuff. Frauds. We were asking for a glass of wine and a small beer without the aperitivo. We got a bill of 19€ When I asked why so much he said it’s the aperitivo time. Although we asked with no aperitivo. he said this is the price everywhere and started shouting me.
Great design and atmosphere. It is expensive when compared to other local bakeries, but you are paying for the brand as it is part of the Prada Group. Pastries were delicious and coffee was good.
First day in Milan, stopped by here for brunch. Everything tasted fresh. They have their own little deli section, so hams were sliced on the spot. Real tomato flavours.
Friendly staff.
All pastry are freshly made by grandpa every morning from 3:30am!
And guess what? They all taste so good!
I LOVE the pistachio croissant, it’s creamy with perfect amount of sweetness, and every bite could taste the crunchy pistachio 🤤

AND! If you want to see something special, when you walk-in to the place, look 👀 UP! 😊

The staff are really good. They have good collection of food. Indoor and outdoor seating arrangements as really cool. Interior of the bar seemed different from other bars. The staff listened to our request and packed the sweets door carrying a long way home. Quality of food was good as well.
Its a very nice place for evenings to have some sweets with friend. Also their baklava is perfect
Best place to get dolce- sweet cakes and vast number of italian dolceria sweets in the Milano viale monza area. Always available staff to ready to help you. They pack your order properly to take away for your event of celebration. Recommended.
Sehr nettes Personal. Sehr leckere kleine Teilchen.

Customer service is exceptional and they are always polite and patient while you are trying to choose between tens of incredible delicious looking bakeries.

The price range seems on the expensive side, but actually if you compare with other places this is on the cheap if we take the quality and service into consideration.

Cozy & elite atmosphere with incredible tasty drinks and bakeries. If you have chance, have your breakfast here everyday while you are in Milan and thank me later.

My most favorite pasticceria. The variety, choice, taste everything is simply awesome i here. We have been buying here since last 4 years and always had pleasant experiences. Highly recommended place. Must try place.
They have beautifully crafted and very delicious pastries 🧁. Small pieces of art, look at the photos. It is a place close to the Duomo to sit and relax.
Highly recommended 👍🏽 😀

Lovely interior and vibe. Loved the selections of pastries. Lady at the door was very friendly, but the people at the counter were a bit intimidating and aggressive. A bit confusing ordering system, as there’s no menu to choose from. I asked what kind of drinks they had, but the person at the register was visibly annoyed.
first time to buy,she just kept urging me to hurry up when we were asking about the taste,No patience. very bad buying experience
I've been coming here every time I'm in Milan for the past 6 years. Their southern Italy mini pastries are out of this world! Simply a must - rum baba, sfogliatela, canollo con ricotta, and maybe a small tart with either fragola or lampone.

Service is friendly but sometimes may be lagging to clean up the tables simply because they are so busy at the counter.

The place is always busy, you may need to wait to get a table.

Lovely shop and ideal for guests staying in the Ibis (Centrale). Very wide selection of cakes. Great for breakfasts inc. fresh orange. English speaking and good for wheelchair access, with only a small step at the entrance/exit.
Amazing presentation and taste. This store has a mixture of different sweets form Turkey and Middle East in milan. The store is located right in the center of milan in corso Buenos Aries just in Loreto junction. One of my friend brought me this home and they taste awesome.

Pretty & tasty place for breakfast in Milan. Interior and little garden outside are very nice, prices are not high, pastry is more modern and tastier than in other places in Italy. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff :)
Lovely people who want to help you in the best way possible. They will try to speak to you in their best English. The pastries are unbelievably good and the cappuccino's are a dream.
Top! I went there around 4 times. Everything has always been delicious!
This was probably one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been in my whole life..
Their pastries were delicious, the cappuccino was amazing and overall everything was perfect at this place.

If you’re visiting Milano make sure that you stop by and treat yourself here.

The prices are also reasonable, I got a cappuccino, a croissant, a macaroon and those two little bites, it all came to 8 euros. Unbelievable huh?

Highly recommend
Excellent place! We had some sweets and a vegan croissant with two cappuccinos. The staffs were amazing and friendly. The food was amazing and the vibe in the shop is so nice and funny it makes you feel safe and like at home. Funny decor! 10/10 definitely a place to take a break!!!!

Awesome bakery shop in terms of variety and taste! I love everthing there and especially the mixed nuts pie!

Prices are reasonable considering the freshness and the traditional recipes in a family-run business.

I'm an American traveling Italy for the very first time and the only Italian I understand are the words that sound like Spanish. When I arrived to Milan I wanted to go walking and find some food. I stumbled across this place and it had a nice vibe, brightly lit, a very cute window presentation. I went in and the man at the register was patient with me and let me order in English, which I'm grateful for. I had the mushroom risotto, 2 tiny pastries and an espresso. I loved everything I had and the service was good. This was my very first meal in Italy and I'm glad I chose this place.
A very nice and beautiful cafe🌺🌺🌺 polite and kind staff 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I ordered latte machiato and it was good😋😋😋 prices were cheap and the atmosphere of cafe was really good. At early morning it is good to have some rocket fuel from here to keep your engine burning😊

PAZZESCHI. Davvero affidabili. Per non parlare delle torte: Buonissime!
I’ve always had great coffee here, prices are a bit too high if you sit outside but customer service has been great.
Best place for eat a perfect pizza, sweets, focaccia, they made fresh bread and pastry. It’s really a good place! The staff is really good and really sweet. Perfect location near to the station.

Prices here are definitely higher than other pasticceria's and it's not really worth it in my opinion. Their selection of brioches is quite vast and it's self service which is nice if you're on the go. They also have a ton of sweets which I havent tried but they look appetizing. There's outside seating and seating in the back as well.
Excellent cappuccino! Very good pastries. Ellegant atmosphere, but reasonable prices.
I chanced upon this place for a late lunch. The service crew was thoughtful and helpful since she's seeing 2 unfamiliar Asians walking into the shop. The decoration of the shop was lively and flavourful. The food was great (except for the little burnt in the pizza). The price was moderately value for the money. I spent EUR20 net for a pizza and lasagna (refer to my photos). Oh yeah. They do provide free wifi and that's how I can add this review on the spot. Recommended!
