Just one of the many typical Chinese restaurants, and not impressive or value for the money.

Dim sum are not great, the deep fried dim sum were just drenched in oil but not crispy. The dumplings skin was too thick. We had to clear our own table as no staff were around to take away the empty plates. Amenities were not clean.
Our high school classmate brought us here to have dinner when we went to HK, it a fancy restaurant, nice to have party, we ordered, vegetables, pork and their fried noodle, food was excellent my wife and i really liked it. The noodles are cut like pizza portions, and it was the last entree to be serve. Service was fast, they always check your service tea if it is still full. Pricr $$$ hkd
Sub-par service for okay food. If you are not a regular there, expect no service at peak hours.

Have been away from HK for some time, this has been one of the places my family frequent prior to the pandemic. Nostalgia usually does wonder to perhaps regular fare but unfortunately in this case highlight the shortcomings of what once was great.

Chiuchow Garden has always been a stable for Central dwellers who crave Chiuchow cuisine and has answered the need amiably, at least some years ago.

The food was standard Chiu chow fare, not that I am a friend critic. But the service was terrible. Food was okay and arrived in a reasonable time and that was commendable, however we were not given tea or water refills after the initial serve. Despite being promised by a wiateress ,we waited for half an hour without any reply. There was perhaps a lack of manpower but some waitresses were seen gathering around for chit chat. Some tables were obviously served more often than others. I can understand from a business perspective, attending to regulars who made frequent patronage is important but this does not excuse the blatant disregard to other paying customers.
Been here for twice! One of my favorite dim sum place in HK.

Good food quality with reasonable price. The fried taro cake is really good.

4.5/5
One of many brands of the Maxim's group. Piece of mind in a Covid-19 World as far as hygiene policy and procedures.
For Yum Cha they have all the Dim Sum items you would expect to see from a Maxim's place. In addition there are a number of Chiu Chow items.
We visited in October 20. The environment was clean. The staffs were also very friendly.

The dinner started with a snack. The snack was well made but presented badly. (Picture was not shown here).

Then we ordered the almond pork lung soup. The pork lung was very clean and had no foul taste. Quite good.

Then it comes the fried fish and smoke duck. Both dishes were very yummy. Skin are crispy and the seasoning and smokiness were cook to the point.

The peppery chicken was a bit tough and chewy. That was because they use the chicken breast portion to made the dish. This could be understood.

Overall, a restaurant with high CP value!
Decent and reasonable Chiu Chow style Chinese restaurant. The braised beef stew in red wine sauce was flavourful. The beef with garlic was tender. The egg white fried rice was a bit oily though. Service was a bit sub par; the staff could be friendlier. Other than that this is still a good place for a family gathering.
