The owner, Ken, of Jumbo Seafood Boston is a complete donkey. I say current because I've been coming here for about 10 years. Back then there was a different owner. Back then my orders were correct. Back then customer service mattered and because of how the previous owner and staff made me feel I brought my friends and girlfriend to eat in and also take out. I talk to a ton of people every week because of my job and would always talk up this restaurant when I planned to get Chinese food. I alone easily racked up thousands of dollars in business over the years. Then Covid hit...

The previous owner sold and Ken took over. Since then, orders are incorrect, the staff's attitudes are a disgrace, and Ken has no idea how to run a business.

Tonight was the last straw when his cashier called me a liar when I explained I should receive a large container of sauce for $5, not a small. FYI: Ken was the one who charged me $5 a couple of weeks prior for a large. I have the receipt to prove it. I told Ken what his staff said and he looks as me and says what would you like me to do about it. That was it for me.

As noted in numerous previous comments, the staff are rude and there are a ton of other restaurants on every block and corner. I look forward to building a new relationship and bringing my friends and girlfriend to a place that has great food and understands both customer service and the value of a customer. Reputation is everything these days. Unfortunately, this restaurant's reputation has gone down the toilet like the owner's attitude.

Be careful when you eat Salted Egg Yolk Lava Buns. It tasted good but it really exploded on my coat, sweater, and vest and it was very hard to clean.

One of the best Chinese restaurant I’ve to. Steam clams and beef chow fun is on another level, I couldn’t believe how good it was. Boston Chinese food deserves a lot more credit, this food exceeds many Chinese restaurants across the continent, New York, Vancouver, Toronto, San Francisco

The food is amazing… the service not so good.

If you are on the lookout for authentic dim sum, fresh, hot, and tasty… look no further… it is pricier than the regular dim sum location, but worth every penny.

You will get a paper and choose your options… they will take that and bring it fresh, just cooked dim sum…

The steam lobster with garlic is to DIE FOR!

If you’re looking for amazing lobster and a quiet spot for lunch, then this is it. Admittedly I was getting a bit antsy waiting on the meal because the staff was a bit slow, but then I had to remind myself that I’m there for the experience. I’ve eaten from here twice - once takeout, the last time a solo lunch. It’s a classic Chinese restaurant. Could it use some improvements? Absolutely. Do you know what it looks like before you sit? Yes. Could certain things be better? Yes, but I also understand certain things are cultural. I’d go back and wait forever for that delicious ginger scallion lobster.

BAD EXPERIENCE. Just order dimsum, don’t order other food. We waited too long and they only served three dimsum. The waiter didn’t flip the other side of the paper, and thought we only ordered three dishes…The food tastes so bad, salty and oily.
牛肉滑蛋看着就没有食欲 让人根本不想接着吃东西 牛肉上还有血 没有煮熟

Edit: They added the tip themselves. We didn’t tip them due to their bad service. First, not checking the orders properly. They thought we only ordered three dishes. Second, we waited for almost a hour to get the three dishes. We definitely tip them none and closed that page to default but still they somehow managed to tip themselves. FRAUD.

One of the best authentic Cantonese restaurants in Chinatown Boston. Everything is delicious! You have to try it! Self serving style, food comes out very fast!

Great spot for a quick meal at a good price! I got the pork/egg congee and duck over rice for $20. Needed a place to eat before I took a bus to New York and this was the spot!

I would recommend triple meat rice, roasted belly pork, bbq peking duck and sweet bbq pork to go. You need to pre heated for take out meal to make it juicy. Salted peanut is delicious. For meat lover may oder triple combo without rice

Hard for me to resist the temptation to come here when I’m in Chinatown at lunch time. Phenomenal Cantonese duck with great portion size. I really like their small eats section especially the duck livers and Thai style chicken feet. They have tons of drinks too

I love their duck, the roasted pork is good, the BBQ spareribs are good. I usually get the double meat combo and a double meat rice plate.

DELICIOUS!!! The food here is AWESOMEEEEEE!!!! When I was looking for good food, I took one look at this restaurant and knew that it was true love. I shared a dish with my wife and it was like the perfect amount! The service was pretty quick and we got our food fairly fast considering the amount of customers there were. Roasted duck, Chinese bbq pork, congee, crispy pork, they got all the good stuff!

Great spot in Chinatown for lobster dishes and dim sums.

Got recommended by one of my friends to try the dim sum lunch specials from this place. From the outside, they didn’t seem like a dim sum specialty store, but I was surprised to find that they offer a huge variety of dim sums. We ordered some buns and dim sums to share, and their signature stir-fried lobster with glutinous rice. Most of the dim sums we tried were good, and my favorite was the deep-fried pork dumplings. The true highlight of the meal was the stir-fried lobster. Granted, it seemed like they used a lot of MSG seasoning, but the combination of crispy lobster meats and pork fried rice was very satisfying.

Overall, the quality of the dim sums here was similar to those that are served at typical dim sum spots in Chinatown. While I wouldn’t come back just to have their dim sums, I am interested in trying some of their other fried seafood entrées.

This was my top favorite place to eat HK style. Awesome food, authentic tastes, great service, great vibe... Then covid came and everything (except the food) was changed.... And never recovered.
The tastes are the same. Tasty won tons, great BBQ of all sorts.... BUT... service? Plastic plates and utensils? Worse than McDonald's.... What a shame.... Not speaking of ruining our environment...
Go back to nice dishes... Chopsticks... Glasses.... It shouldn't be a fast food joint....
Once again... The food is amazing...

Triple meat rice platter is an excellent choice! When I revived my food, I am surprised by its weight. It’s a quite heavy box, 2-3 pounds of good food!
You can choose three different types of meat from more than a dozen of options. They are all cooked fresh and are made right in front of you.
I choose roasted duck, crispy pork, and beef stomach, they are all good, so I suppose expect all other options are safe as well.
Also, the platter has fresh blanched baby bok choy.

5 Years ago, I gave this place 2 stars after one bad experience. Since then, I dinned there for business several times, and I was amazed on how good the food and service have become. I will definitely be going there more often.
