I’ve been to many restaurants, better and worse, but this one is definitely one of the top. Excellent food and service, with very nice atmosphere. You can feel the passion of cooking here.
Had a great meal with great service.
Encountered a great atmosphere with friendly staff.
I found that the chef uses high-quality ingredients and genuine Italian olive oil from an artisanale Italian producer. Homegrown vegetables and salads. Homemade Tiramisu which was almost as good as my mums Tiramisu.
On top, real Italian strong coffee.
Had a great chat with the owner after the meal and definitely recommend that place!

Excellent service and amazing food. No matter what you order, you will most likely feel food envy because everything coming out of the kitchen looks great!
The place was nice, good atmosphere but nothing special.
Pizza Porcini and Pasta Carbonara were pretty good and we would definitly recommend to order this menu.
Prices are okay and adapted to the area.

The place exceeded our expectations. Good stuff, delicious food (I recommend pastas with seafood), good quality/price
Although this is a general Italian restaurant, we came to try the pizza.
Ours had excellent and crispy thin crusts, unlike the soggy middles you find at a lot of Italian restaurants.
These were not unlike New York pizza, with a satisfying crunch and good flavor.
Super friendly staff too. They deserve your patronage.

We stumbled on this Italian restaurant whilst doing a bit of google research, whilst staying at Felmis hotel. There were a few Italian restaurants in Horw to choose from, but we opted to go to La Fontana. The restaurant did not disappoint us
The food was lovely, and reasonably priced and the staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very full with other customers which is always good too.
I'd definitely visit this restaurant again.

Loved it. An italian restaurant with italian service. Really great food, really great service and great place and decoration.
Good restaurant that we have frequented for over 10 years. Go with the flow - the host always suggests what is good and the Calabrian wine is always fantastic. Medium price good restaurant. Italian through and through.

I have ordered Spaghetti Alio Oglio and this is the result - Photo. Pasta was overcooked and there was no Parmasan at all. It was only overcooked pasta with some garlic and oil on the bottom of the tray… nothing worth of 20 CHF. Sorry.

One of the most talented chefs is serving an awesome 15 course meal changing every other month. One of the best locations right now in the area.

Good food for vegetarians. Their risotto with vegetables was good. Also had ravioli, gnocchi and pasta. All were good.
