Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 7 Leuten da. Es gab einen große, leckere Auswahl an Speisen von der Tageskarte (eigentlich waren es zwei Tafeln 😄). Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und es wurde auch auf individuelle Wünsche eingegangen. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend mit sehr leckerem Essen.

Wunderbar! Köstliche Antipasti, Schinken und die Kalbsschnitzel erst, ach, man kommt ins Schwärmen. Toller Service, ein perfekt gepflegtes Geschäft und wirklich der Topfeinkostitaliener im Veedel. Hier gibt es auch je nach Saison baci di Perugia, Panettone und schöne Präsentkörbe. Auch toller Mittagstisch.
Salty food, unfriendly if not bigoted
Delicious Italian food in a fancy yet unpretentious atmosphere. Service was very attentive. Highly recommend trying one of the salads. Dinner reservations are a must.
Food is nice (pasta with truffles is a specialty you should not miss), but service lacks lack some attention and hospitality.

Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut, aber die Nudeln lauwarm. Eher kleine Portionen, aber liebevoll garniert. Der Espresso ziemlich stark, lauwarm in der Temperatur und lieblos, mit nicht funktionierender Zuckerschütte gereicht.
Ich würde das Restaurant nicht wieder besuchen wollen.

Food is their speciality and wine collection is also good. Try their pastas and you will be delighted.

Italienische Südstadt-Urlaubsatmosphäre mit negativer Überraschung.
Wir hatten ein paar Getränke und zwei meiner Freunde teilten sich einen Vorspeisenteller spät Abends.
Beim Bezahlen kam dann gefühlt wie aus dem Trash-TV, die Überraschung, dass der Vorspeisenteller - als Vorspeisenplatte bezeichnet, plötzlich 50,- Euro kosten sollte, was ihnen beim bestellen weder auf der sehr überschaubaren Karte angezeigt noch mitgeteilt wurde.
Für 50,- Euro hätte man sämtliche der 3 Vorspeisen (ca. 14-18 Euro der Teller) zusammen bestellen können.
Die Vorspeise kostete somit mehr als das auf der Karte angebotene teuerste Hauptgericht von ca. 24,- Euro.
Als wir dann der sehr freundlichen, hilfsbereiten, bemühten Bedienung sagten, dass das ja wohl etwas teuer sei, für ein paar kombinierte Fischspeisen(reste) - waren alle sehr lecker - und wir doch gerne mal den Chef sprechen wollten, verschwand diese und sprach ein Lokal weiter mit ihrem Chef. Der jedoch verneinte und gab ihr zwei 5,- Euro Scheine - quasi unser Trinkgeld für die Bedienung. Das würde er uns anbieten als Rabatt aber sprechen wolle er nicht mit uns. Solch ein Verhalten in der Gastronomie geht meiner Meinung gar nicht und bewegt mich leider zu dieser schlechten Kritik des TEATRO Restaurant in der Kölner Südstadt.

Very authentic Italian atmosphere, especially the terrace looks amazing. The pizza was very delicious.

Delicious food at reasonable prices. It’s a small restaurant so you need reservation. Beef pasta needs a little bit more salt

Delicious pizza! Our family of 6 ordered 5 pizzas and each one was great! Our favorites were the margarita and the Hawaiian.
Just amazing. They treat you very, very well. The food is exquisite. The prices are fine. They cater omnivores and vegans alike. The drinks were OK. It can be a little hot if you’re sitting next to the oven, so pay attention to that if you’re going in the summer. I’ve heard it can be loud since it’s a bit crowded, but to me the noise levels were perfectly normal. We’re looking forward to visiting again.
A little gem in the area. Not a typical pizza and wine dining but their pizza is amazing. Freshly made dough, tasty tomato base, generous topping, affordable price, and friendly people. Made from the heart. I could eat this pizza everyday.
Best italian food in cologne. I have been at toscanini several times already, every time the food is great. Only thing is very hard to get reservation, always fully booked

Me and business Colleague called by Saturday night .. we hadn’t made a booking but the Owner was really happy to accommodate us - food was excellent - mixed starters - pigs cheek stew and house tiramisu accompanied by two lovely bottles of Lugano white - Service was first class ! - Will be back in a weeks time

Such a lovely place. The food is very tasty. The waiter was super friendly. But he judged me for ordering Hawaii pizza😅 well, I know it's a crime, but since they offer it, I couldn't miss the moment to see the face of an Italian bringing a Hawaii pizza🤣

Delicious Italian food with friendly service. All dishes were really good served. I recommend to choose from the day menu. The normal menu is like in newspaper format really cool.

Definitely 5* and this is the best Italian restaurant in Cologne, five star goes to service, customer care, sanitary clean and high quality food with best Pizzas, salads tiramisu and of course pannacota . Small reminder- they don’t accept card payment. So make sure to have a cash available.
Just like the reviews, Toscanini is a restaurant with great value! The people were super friendly and the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere. All in all we had a great time! I’d recommend making a reservation though since it does get busy and all the tables were full. Highly recommend ordering the Insalata do Capra… the goat cheese wrapped in phyllo pastry was heavenly! Pizzas were also great!

It was my second time in this restaurant 🍴. I just love this place. The restaurant is a family run restaurant. The Husband cooks and the wife organizes the restaurant and takes care of the costumers.
Everything is fresh and delicious 😋. I definitely recommend this place for a long and good evening.

It's fine. Nice staff, but food was not amazing.
Service was medium great (maybe due to the long COVID break), not proactive, but at least they were friendly when they did come to our table. We had pasta and pizza. Both were ok, but not overly convincing.

Es gibt ja schon einen alteingesessenen italienischen Feinkost Laden in der Severinstraße. Aber Konkurrenz belebt das Geschäft. Die Auswahl an Käse und Wurst ist beeindruckend. Und die Ware höchster Standard. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Und sie kennen ihre Produkte. Ich bin jetzt der welcher Zutaten kauft. Essen kann ich nicht heute bewerten. Aber allein der pancetta zu meinen originale carbonara gestern... Ein Gedicht. Preise nicht überteuert und erschwinglich. Geh ich wieder hin!

one of the worst pizza and pasta in köln......we are suffering from last five times .....always make some mistakes ....once very spicy and some time tomuch salt.....and the worker say just keep dishes and run away from here.....
The pizza was good and the wine of the place (Nero d Avola) as well. We ordered one pizza in two with my friend and they have cooked it separately and brought on two plates. Definetely the price for quality. 3 pizzas + 1 liter of wine cost us around 40 euros. Except for that they are always bringing some appetizers. The owners - a couple - Sicilian husband and German wife who really made this place with the Italian atmosphere.
If you blink you might miss this place, but hopefully you don't! I came here with my wife (found Amalfi on Google) and we both ordered different pizzas (I ordered the Amalfi, it was delicious). The service was very good and very fast, our server was in a fun mood and the place was packed. From what I saw on the menu, they only serve pizza, pasta and salad but if you're in the mood I highly recommend!

This Italian place is super amazing! The food is authentic and high quality. I especially love the white truffle main course. The starters are also great! We finished with tiramisu which is also very good. Service is warm and the atmosphere and ambience is cosy.

The atmosphere and the service are good. Staff is very friendly. But the food quality is not. Pizza is done in an electric oven, is a bit gooey and feels like from an upgraded Imbiss than a restaurant pretending to serve Italian pizza. If you want mozzarella cheese instead of gouda - which is Dutch - you have to pay additional 80 cents. Instead of spicy oil, you get Ajvar (tomato/pepper mix from the Balkan region), the Nizza salad has shredded carrots in it. No, the cook wasn't inspired by fusion, he/she simply doesn't know. Payment by credit card is not possible (only German EC cards) but tip needs to be done in cash only... Still, the place was full... Not quite sure why?

No kidding, thought this was a joke when I got my "fish table" for almost 20€. Had two potatoes of which one was not done. Vegetables tasted like from the microwave. Worst was the fish: Tasted like low-budget frozen food from the supermarket. It was mushy and wet.

Great deli produce (authentic Italian - try the prosciutto cotto it's delicious) and awesome pasta spot for lunch. Constantly changing menu so repeat trips are worth it.
Little secret spot for a perfect quick authentic Italian lunch. The deli is highly recommended as well.

I had Kabeljau / Cod. If it wasn't so overcooked it might have been great, because the quality of the fish and the seasoning seemed ok. But it was dry as hell. I would have complainde, but did not want to start an argument with the waiter who was friendly, but seemed too confident to admit any wrondoing of his kitchen staff.

Nice little Italian with a great lunch offering. Only 7.5 Euro for any pizza or pasta, plus a salad and a coffee. The pizza is good!

The backyard is very cute and the lunch special is a good deal for an salad or antipasti, a small pizza or pasta and a fritz cola for 9.99€. The gnocchi is heated and served on a clay pot and it was a good amount of food too.

While working on the project in Cologne, we never miss an oportunity to step by and eat something delicious here. With the glass of Primitivo red wine, there is not better end of a working day at the bussiness trip.
