The staff was great! However, the food was swimming in olive oil and some was inedible. I wouldn’t choose it willingly. But at least the staff was kind.

I’ve been in Lynchburg for 8 years now and this is hands down the worse food I’ve eaten yet. The pizza is not good idk what kinda dough they use but it tastes like a frozen pizza. My fried pickles were ice cold in the middle and tasted old. 0/10 for me would not recommend.
OIP is one of the few restaurants in the area where you can still get a large amount of food at a very reasonable price, all of the servers and management are so friendly, and the food is always hot and delicious! One of the many servers that we enjoy having knows my children and I so well that no matter how long between our last visit, she always remembers our entire order! Whether you're there for the lunch buffet or ordering takeout, you can't go wrong with OIP!
Loved the lunch buffett. Homemade meatballs. Lasagna rolls. Salad bar... Met a wonderful waitress, helpful, courteous, Christian lady. Enjoyed our conversation. I came in with my aunt, she has never been here before. Will be coming back! I would recommend this restaurant.

I was definitely shocked at how tiny the gluten free pizza was and will be honest it wasn’t anything to rave about. For $13 you can spend your money elsewhere for much more!
This is a wonderful place to eat at, whether it be for lunch takeout or eating in with the family. They have a buffet between 11-2 pm that is decently priced. There will be one opening in Appomattox soon. I plan to return often.
Delicious! House salad, soup and spinach dip with real breadstix. Great service, and atmosphere is quaint and cozy. Would be great for date night!
the restaurant is lovely and inviting . We were seated, and drinks were provided quickly. Then we were forgotten. I had to go ask the server to take our order. She was standing 10 feet in front of us, rolling silver and talking. The bread was awesome! The food was so so. Lukewarm at best. The noodles were crunchy, and the sauce tasted like it came from a can. The meat sauce is 3.50 extra. A tossed salad was extra, too. We won't be back. Overpriced.
Food was great but the server was not very attentive. She didn't not even bother to ask if I wanted a refill on my beer. It was pretty much what do you want, here's your food, here's your check. I expect more when I spend over $300 on a meal for my family.
Amazing birthday dinner! The service was one of the best I ever had from Blake. I will definitely be back and the food was amazing as well! Get the calamari!
We sat outside, so I only had a brief glimpse of the inside, which just looked like a typical Italian restaurant with a lot of tables and a lot of noise. Outside the chairs were hard and uncomfortable, and there were no fans or anything to ensure comfort for outdoor dining on hot days.

The food, however, it was absolutely delicious, and the best part were the daily specials from seasonal produce, which is the time of year I went was completely centered around ripe delicious fresh tomatoes. We had multiple appetizers as our meal due mostly to the heat, and not only was everything wonderful but together they all were extremely filling once we were done finishing them off.

The service was pleasant and generally attentive, although, since there were few diners outside, there were several occasions when we had to do a lot of waving to catch the attention of someone inside, so they could come out and help us. The only real ding from the outside seating is that they should have at least one big fan or mount a ceiling fan on there on it or do something to keep the air stirring so people can enjoy eating outside on warmer days.

Otherwise, food was really excellent and we would want to come back another time of year and see if the specials are similarly delicious afterSummertime’s peak produce bounty.
I have been here a couple times. Nice place. Good food. I got Isabella’s Summer Pasta. It was delicious except the chicken was tough. We love the bread.
This place is mediocre at best. I realize now why I don't really ever eat there. Ordered off GrubHub and they forgot an entire entree of baked lasagna. The chicken dish was supposed to have zucchini noodles, but came with fettuccine noodles. The club sandwich had 75% veggies and 25% meat, so that could have been better. All overpriced and disappointing. Save your money and go somewhere else.
You know the moment you walk in. The owner and his family are front and center. The pizza crusts' deep flavor is perfect; moreover, it is crunchy and foldable. The toppings are perfect from the balanced sauce to the beautifully stretchy cheese to those crispy edged pepperoni. Don't skip dessert! The terimisu is to die for!

let me tell you, when this place actually gets it right it’s the best, however, 9/10 they get it wrong. forget about customizations, they rarely if ever make your wings well done. i spend $78 there today and brought home 12 wings without buffalo sauce. COMPLETELY DRY WINGS!!! the manager admitted he forgot the sauce on a day when there were literally no one in the parking lot. the only solution the manager mark offered me was free wings the next time i order from there. when i asked why he couldn’t refund my order, he told me he’d have to refund the entire order. they never include parmesan cheese packs or crushed red pepper even though you ask for it. such a disappointment. hope no one wastes their money there like i did!
After waiting a very long time to get my food, they got the order wrong. I had just about finished eating when the corrected side dish arrived. No adjustment on the bill. No apology. I won't be going there again.
2 of us went here around 5:00 on a Tuesday, and there were plenty of available tables. We were seated promptly, and our server took our drink orders and brought our drinks quickly. We both ordered salad and lasagna. All of the food including bread sticks was delicious and came out soon after ordering. The food and service were excellent, and the prices were reasonable!
Honestly this is not NY style Italian pizza. Vinnies is much better and $4 less for a large supreme. I hate chain pizza but I would honestly order papa johns before I would order OIP pizza again.
Food is Italian American but much better than Olive Garden. We have been going for years and the service and food are consistently good. Used to be a bit more authentic and bigger portions. Still overall good. The interior is very dated but so is the real Italy :) never been when there is a crowd so service was always prompt.
There are good restaurants and then there are fine dining experiences, and sometimes if your lucky you’ll find both…well if you’re unlucky let me just introduce Fratelli!

I came on a Wednesday night, was able to listen to smooth jazz and and tasty food, with a nice old fashion, it goes without saying the service was phenomenal as well.
This is a great Olive Garden location in Lynchburg!! Firstly I’ll say service is some of the best I’ve received at any OG..
Erica is a great manager, she’s extremely friendly and nice! She always greets you. If have an issue or something, she’s prompt and takes care of it. Doubt you’ll have any issues. They’re pretty on top of things in the kitchen. Any dish I have had here has been spot on!!
I’ve brought the kiddos here, I’ve eaten here by myself and brought family. Every time has been great.
The waitresses are all polite and friendly.
We catered La Villa for our wedding and it was perfect! The food was delicious, very well priced, and great quality. Only downside was they didn't deliver, however, they were otherwise really helpful.
I was very pleased that OIP was just a good even great as my experience years ago from their Bedford location! I ordered the big pie with veggies & sausage, it was fabulous! I'll be going back! Yum!
Always a great meal. Kay was the best server we've ever had. She went out of her way to make our evening and dinner experience exceptional!
My friend and I ate outside on the covered patio for lunch. We shared the Tuscan chicken on the keto menu and it was wonderful! Megan gave us the best service ever! She took really good care of us and was so personable! We will be back soon! 😋👍💓
Completely blown away by our experience this evening. We ordered a couple of cocktails, both were crisp and refreshing, not to mention pretty. All of the food we ordered was generous in portion, well worth the price, cooked to absolute perfection. Our waitress was attentive and always came at the right time to refill drinks or check in on us, and was also very pleasant to interact with! Went above and beyond. Love this place! Will most likely be back here on another date night!
Food was terrible. No way around it. I ordered the linguine primavera and it was like a noddle soup. The Alfredo sauce was so thin it was disgusting. In our group of around 15 three sent food back. Others said after that the pizza is the only good thing there. They brought "garlic knots" to start with, no garlic, just barely cooked bread with a little butter on it. Great disappointment from what it used to be. The salad was the only good thing about the meal.
This was my first time visiting this Restaurant- I had heard good things from family & friends and decided to try. I love supporting local places that are worth it. The Restaurant is casual with an Italian vibe. There is a bar menu with a nice wine list. The hostess seated us right away. The waitress then came and took our drink orders. She was very nice and attentive. She then took our food orders, answering our questions along the way. The menu had a lot of choices from their Italian dishes to signature pizza. After ordering- the Manager/Owner came out and greeted us. He was friendly with a bubbly personality, definitely made us laugh. Our appetizers and entrees arrived in a timely matter. Everything was hot ,fresh, and tasty. We had bread sticks with marinara sauce, bone in Buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, metterranian delight, chicken marsala, and 16 inch choose your toppings pizza. The prices are reasonable. A nice place for Italian food and Pizza.

An excellent meal! We enjoyed the Molten Marinated Goat Cheese appetizer which was surprisingly incredible. I had the Ravioli Florentine and my partner had Salsiccia, both entrees were cooked well and absolutely delicious! Oh, also got a side of Risotto! Yum! We can’t wait to go back and try other things! It was pricey but the quality was great.
We dined outside and it was beautiful. The table was wobbly but the great drinks and food helped distract from that. Our server was super nice and seemed to enjoy her job. We liked her enthusiasm :)

Our waiter was so friendly and helpful, he was able to answer all questions asked and gave great reheating instructions. Service was also very fast.
There were 2 Caucasian families that for some reason kept staring at my family, making the visit uncomfortable until they all left.
A true treat for Mothers Day. The food was delicious. The service and timely matter was wonderful. Beautiful surroundings.
It's Olive Garden, so not great but not hateful either. A chain store with chain food. But the Service was great. A particular shout out, and 5 stars, to Layla, the Server who made Mothers day luncheon complete. Thanks Layla for putting up with my Mother's particulars and my in-you-face sense of humor. You're awesome and when I come back, it's because of you! Thanks again

Very good food and service. Tiramisu was a special treat!
Got to say great job!
Ordered the build your own pasta and the spaghetti with meat sauce. The build your own was with the mushroom sauce and Italian sausage on top. It was fantastic!
But really want to talk about the watermelon sangria. It is put of this world good! IF YOU LIKE MASCOTO wine you are going to love this drink!
Overall great job you deserve an A for the evening!
This place was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. My boyfriend surprised me with a gorgeous necklace, and the staff helped create a memorable moment.
By the way. Our waiter was correct, recommending the lasagna. It was truly the best I've had.

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Great environment and atmosphere. The pizza is fabulous. A lot of options are available for toppings. This is a place we will return to often.

We celebrated my bosses birthday with lunch here on 4/24/23. Eleven of us all getting different items from the menu. No complaints as everyone loved being together, and the food e was delicious. We talked about eating lunch as a group every month to celebrate dept. Birthdays. I wish we had thought to take a photo.
the calzone comes on a platter. the meatball hoagie is very good. our waitress was amazing! we were a large group but she was organized and kept food coming out and got every order right and to the right person. kudos!

Went right after lunch and the food and service was amazing. The atmosphere wasn't your average Italian place but service was quick and friendly. The prices were great for portion and tomato sauce was fresh! Would come back.
Great little hole in the wall. The restaurant was pretty empty at 6pm. But we ordered two pizzas, and they were delicious. The pizza was baked expertly. The server was very attentive, but had a chuckle when one of our party wanted to drink more of the soda in his glass before she refilled it. Overall a fun little restaurant.
This has to be the worst food I have ever bought from a restaurant. If this could get a one start I would do that . Just look at the garlic bread. The sauce was straight milk it seemed and I took one bite and it tasted horrible. Do not order your food here
Beautiful restaurant and quiet atmosphere. The service was great, and the food was decent. The appetizers were the dishes that stood out. If it's someone's birthday, that person gets a dessert off the menu of their choosing. I will also mention that Fratellis can accommodate by making mocktails if needed.
This wonderful diamond in the rough. It truly is much more than just dining establishment. It is a staple of true Italian cooking. It has been in this neighborhood for over 40 years. It is the oldest Italian restaurant in all of Lynchburg. Although when you eat here you'll be thinking you're actually dining in Italy instead of in America because it is that authentic.

We stopped at Ledo's after a full morning of Black Friday shopping. We were immediately greeted by a friendly man and shown to our table. We were talking with the very friendly server and ordered. Most of our party got personal sized pizza, and 1 got a Stromboli. All of the food was well cooked and liked delicious. Everyone was very happy with their food, and we had a nice time chatting and eating a late lunch. I'm from Orlando and have a pretty high standard for places to eat, and I would recommend the restaurant to family & friends!
Atmosphere - 5/5
Service - 5/5
Food - 4/5
Value - 4/5

A sorely needed “date night” spot in Lynchburg. Best atmosphere in all of Lynchburg. Intimate lighting, elegant decor, ubiquitous dark wood, comfortable seating, a good drink list.. The complementary bread is really high-quality, served warm and moist and has pronounced hard cheese flavors. In my experience, the food was prepared very fast. The calamari was breaded well but I wish there was more of the tomato sauce! You can ask for a side of marinara for $2. I will admit that there is better pizza in Lynchburg but it is similarly priced and I want to push back on the reviews that say this place is not good value. Further, this is a rare date night spot and you are paying for the entire experience, which, with some good wine and conversation, is absolutely worth a $40/person bill. Being more expensive than other places in Lynchburg does not at all mean bad value.
If you are looking for a venue with a classy ambience conveniently located right off the bluff walk in beautiful downtown Lynchburg, looking no further. A Sunday brunch was a real treat at this highly asceticlly pleasing basement turned Italian eatery. On this fact alone I would give them another go despite the less than snappy service and mediocre food. I figure 2p on a Sunday is not peak performance time for wait staff anywhere and it did look like they where in transition whilst we were dining. All the same, a little disappointed in food quantities for price and just the general lack of flavor from the brunch items. Again won't stop me from returning to try some of the more traditional Italian cuisine...just hoping the service can up scale to par with the interior and exterior decor.
Finally got a chance to try this place! My husband and I came out for a date night. We were a little confused on where the entrance was at first, but found the elevator and made our way to the hostess stand. We were seated quickly and our server was very attentive!

I had the lemoncello blackberry martini and it was delightful!

We started with the muscles and mozzarella arancini appetizers. Both were delicious, however I could have eaten another whole plate of the muscles!

My husband got the bolognese pasta and I got the spring risotto. I am glad the waitress offered to bring salt and pepper and it tasted like there was none in my risotto, the peas and pea tendrils in the dish were perfect.

We then finished with a slice of tiramisu that was so good!

I would absolutely come back on another date night or with some friends. A little pricy, but it’s worth it.
We had the daily special of shrimp linguine, then chicken and sausage orecchiette. Both were phenomenal!! The meat was tender, very flavorful, the white sauce was also so delicious. Shrimp entree was well seasoned and above expectations. Highly recommend this restaurant!
We liked our food. We noticed everyone was ordering the pizza. We will get that next time.

I had the special of the day which was a creamy pesto tortellini and crispy chicken. It was good!

The owner came out and told us a little about the pesto. He was really friendly!

We will be back!
This is a popular Restaurant in our city. My friend wanted to celebrate her Birthday - so we went for a 6pm dinner. It was not overcrowded and the hostess seated us right away. The atmosphere was nice- family oriented
Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and spot on with recommendations The food was good and plentiful. The unlimited salad and bread sticks definitely a favorite. The sweet ice tea was the best i have had in a while- fresh with the right amount of sugar. The prices are still reasonable and not much of an increase due to the pandemic. Our meal for 4 adults with drinks was around $80.00 .
Husband got 2 slices of pizza, said it was pretty good. I got the baked spaghetti and the sauce was way too sweet & was dangerously hot. Tasted like sugar was added to a can of spaghetti Os. The lemonade was very good. Service was great but there was only two tables in use. I did not take the spaghetti home to my dogs. Not a fan at all!!
I love the atmosphere and food here!! We got lasagna and bolognese. We got to enjoy the beautiful sunset view when seated outside. The waitresses were super friendly and nice too. Definitely will come back!!
Overall our experience was very good. There were a couple minor kitchen issues but nothing major, and certainly nothing that will keep us from returning.

The standout of the meal was the eggplant, which my wife said was cooked perfectly. The tomato basil sauce was flavorful and the portion was surprisingly stout

One thing that should be noted: Isabella’s ambiance is unlike many restaurants in Lynchburg. The decor and lighting is perfect for an intimate setting. On top of that the staff was very friendly and our server quickly corrected an issue with one of our orders. Also every staff member I observed had a mask on, which is a rare sight lately
Meatballs themselves were tasty, marinara sauce was bland. Ordered the Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo. Chicken was tender, but honestly there was way too much salt on the chicken itself, the sauce was decent, but lacking flavor. They did have the BEST Tiramisu I've ever tasted. Great wine and wonderful service. Overall everything was nice and presented well. Everything came out in a timely manner and their artisan bread was tasty. Will definitely be eating here again, next time I'll order the shrimp. Don't skip the Tiramisu, seriously..
Great place to eat
Nice staff
Relaxing Atmosphere
Clean
Good food :)

We all had a wonderful family dinner here during graduation week at Liberty University. Thank you to the wonderful wait staff and the chefs for a delicious Italian meal. We appreciate it.

Restaurant was very clean, nice ambience and comfortable for dining. We all had plenty left over to take back to the hotel room where I, of course, was guilty of cleaning them up later on the next day.

Left over lasagna... yum!

Very friendly service and good food! Great place for private, calm, quiet meals. Very discreet and great food, a favorite for us!
