The location, atmosphere and the design of the place are nice, but the food is very average, nothing special. I ordered the vegetable soup there and it was a bit tasteless, I asked for salt, added it, still it wasn't as delicious, as I expected. Then we took pasta and pizza, they were pretty basic in taste and serving. The ice-cream's taste was as if it was bought in a regular supermarket, in big boxes (not like Ben&Jerry at all). I felt rather disappointed.

This is the place to go if you are looking for warm and caring hospitality, fresh quality food, and the best Jeruaalemite atmosphere! Not my first time there and will definately not be my last. Some of my favorite dishes i highly recommend is the seared tuna salad [fresh and colorful], any special pasta they have with beets, whole fish is never a miss either. They have a full bar, and to top it all -irresistable desserts.
One of the most touching aspects of this family run business is that they give back to society -daily. Hearts of gold -just like the city.
Bonus -sitting outside you get to enjoy live music, no extra chage.
Looking forward to my next visit already.

Great place with good food. We seat outside in the Sukka and the service was a bit lazy as it is a pretty big place, but the staff is very nice!

Staff are just kids . They don't really know what day it is. The pizza we ordered came out exactly opposite of how we ordered it. The fish n chips are pretty good.. location is good but the lack of good wait staff ruins it

Just terrible. I asked for water on a boiling hot day from the waiters who said they would bring. 15 mins later still no water. I went to ask the workers behind the bar for water, they refused to give me any and said the waiters would bring me water. Took half an hour to get water (we were also one of 3 tables at the time). We ordered 2 salads, each was inedible (and we are NOT picky eaters). I went to the bathroom and there was no soap so went to the makeshift kitchen (they were doing a renovation) and THE KITCHEN STAFF ALSO HAD NO SOAP!!! Honestly, been twice and was terrible each time. Will never be back

Amazing food. Great service. Live music. Beautiful setting. Hard to ask for anything more. We were accompanying a family looking for a venue for a bar mitzvah party dinner and I was blown away by this gem of a restaurant. Keep in mind it can get crowded. Make reservations. We ate relatively early on a Monday, school night, evening and the place was full by the time we left .
Dairy restaurant, pizzas, salads, pastas .
Ask for the chef special of the day.
We tried pizza and pasta and salad – everything is awesome.
Dedicated respect for the pizza: it's difficult to find a pizza where both a topping and dough are great

We made an event at Cafe Tamara for about 70 people, they were really easy to work with, The food was plentiful and tasty, the service at the event was amazing, when they heard one of my nieces was lactose intolerant they went and made a fresh dish for her, and made fresh pizza for someone who came late and could not be more helpful. Highly recommend.

Very clean, great service delicious and fresh food served quickly. "Bar" was in charge of the shift and he gave excellent service. The owner "Matanya" even came over to ask if everything was o.k. Indeed it was.

My friend and I had a delicious pizza and gnocchi, and other options looked fantastic as well. Service was great, very polite and food was served quickly. Prices are not cheap, but reasonable when considering the high level of the dishes and the location.
The place was packed but it didn't feel as horrible as you would expect, it was not awfully noisy, so the acoustics are probably good.
Great dairy option in Jerusalem!
We ordered from both the pizza and Pasta sections, as well as an assortment of appetizers, and everything tasted great.
The service was friendly, helpful and accommodating.
This was our 2nd visit to this restaurant and we're sure to be back again!

It is a bit far from Italian restaurant. Several Italian drinks are missing, cappuccino you can get only in clear glasses, it is not enough just to have pasta and pizza and to be Italian restaurant. Service was good as well as the interior of the place. Food is tasty and good, portions as well are good size. It is nice place to be but it needs a bit more attention to details and ensure better overall experience.

Our waitress SHACHAR was amazing. Super friendly. Super nice. Super knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were amazing. She kept checking that we are happy and/or if we need anything. Highly recommended restaurant with super service.

It took 1 hour, 4-50 minutes from Tel Aviv to Mamila Mall in Jerusalem, and the traffic jam was very bad in downtown Jerusalem. Parking is convenient because you can park in the basement of the mall.

We ordered Italian salad, whole fish, and pasta with tomato sauce. The cheese in the salad was very salty, so I mixed it with the vegetables little by little, and the rest of the food was good. Lemonade is a non-carbonated drink. The service of the employees was good, and the atmosphere of the store was good, too.

One of my favorite restaurants! I come here every time I'm in Jerusalem. The food is so delicious and there are options for everyone. The service is amazing, overall would recommend to anyone
Good food, nice place was accommodating with making a reservation for 18 people, but... they only had 1 waitress who was young and slow. Took way to long for some of the dishes to come out. Sorry, but unacceptable when you know 2 days in advance that you have a reservation. They need more staff.

The place was very crowded and so so loud! It was unpleasant, I couldn't hear the person talking in front of me.
The food was OK, nothing special but good overall.
The service was very good.

My friend and I shared a special dish of salmon with black pasta and a Panzanella salad. Both were delicious. We also each took a gin cocktail which were lovely as well.
Although today's heatwave is difficult for everyone, I'd still expect to sit in a cool, pleasant place. Sadly it was a bit too hot for me. Also, the floor is a bit crooked, so every time someone passed behind us, I was shaken a bit, quite disturbing and unpleasant.

Went there with a dining partner who doesn't speak Hebrew. Asked for an English menu for her. Got a lecture on needing to speak Hebrew in Israel. Dining partner got up to use the lady's and as she is headed away the server asked if I was ready to order. When I explained that I wanted to wait for my dining partner to be able to come back and look at the English menu that the server brought as she asked, got another mini lecture about wasting the servers' time(restaurant only had three tables in use including us and two already had their food). That was pretty much the tempo for the whole meal. Mediocre food at a premium price served by wait staff for whom rude would have been an improvement.

It is such a shame, such a beautiful place, decent food, and the service and tables are rough. The workers are hard working, yet it seems the system is flawed. Definitely time for self reflection as a business if a large group of people complain. My experience in other locations has never had any flawed, yet this one time and time again there are many. So I can only assume it is some operational and kitchen issues.

But the views are great 👍

Appetizer beef recommended.

pizza is extra large by default just in case you aim to finish your plate.

pizza lacks meat since cheese does not go with meat.

Great food, great atmosphere and even better beer! Got a table outside on a Thursday night. Great place for people watch. Had the Sicilian Pizza. Pizza is big. You can split with two or just have it yourself if you are really hungry.

Tasty Italian cuisine at affordable prices. The atmosphere is a good, but can get crowded in peak hours. In a party of eight our food came out in about fifteen minutes. Sadly there are very limited vegan options.
We had a private function here. It is a kosher dairy restaurant.

The food was delicious: I liked the pizza (A+), the hummus (A), the babaganoush (A+), the fish kebabs (A), and the fish "shawarma" (A).

Great food AWFUL service. It took 12 minutes before someone took drink order. Lemonade was very fresh! Pizza came out 15 minutes before my pasta so my husband ate his food alone and I ate my pasta alone…Seafood pasta was really good! The pasta noddles itself was just okay but the seafood was fresh. My husband got the margarita pizza and it was great! Dessert was decent but over priced for as simple as it was.

Great place for dairy food! The restaurant offers a delectable selection of dairy-based delights. There is Free parking which is hard to find in Jerusalem. Finding a spot is hassle-free. The lovely atmosphere adds to the dining experience. Adjacent to the restaurant is a picturesque lake, where you can enjoy your meal while observing wildlife. It's a perfect combination of delicious food and serene surroundings.

Delicious food good service
really nice sitting outside when the weather is good!!
We ordered the fucaccia, tunna tartar, pasta gnocchi.
It was all beyond delicious, (pricey but worth it if you font mind putting out a little extra)
The owner was very nice. He let me sit there for nearly 2 hours while I waited for my friends. I only had a cup of coffee.

Great place to eat, it gets packed so be ready to be early or call for reservation.

Ate the Beef and cheese sandwich, big plate (almost couldn’t finish it)

Foccacias are also of good size.

Place is really nice and with good instrumental music.

Open in Friday evening.

We came for a sister's lunch hoping for a nice time. We were sat outside in the cold, the waiters constantly forgot we existed. The food was mediocre, quinoa wasn't fresh, vegetables were old. Every dish came at another time so we didn't actually eat together, one finished and then the other came.
Never going there again!

Great location, we had good expectations
The restaurant was half empty we ordered breakfast. Service was slow we waited 15 minutes to order and 25 minutes for an omelette that was overcooked lacking salt
The leafy greens in the salad weren’t fresh The coffe had a burnt flavor overall disappointing considering the great location. I literally had to go to the counter to get the check because we waited 15 minutes to get it.

Going out for Pesach pizza with people who need GF was necessary, and this delivered, with a mehadrin hechsher. It's being done street food style rather than dine in (but that may be specific to Friday afternoon) but the pizza was fresh and tasty.
Good service and not really good food. There are a lot of vegan options but none of them are really worth a visit to this place

I was here with a group of friends for volunteering and for dinner we visited this place. Great service, people are so humble and welcoming. The food is really tasty as Italian food in Jerusalem, you would wonder but it was a classic one. We ordered red and white wine and delicious food raviolis, a bunch of salads, vegetables, cheese pizza and desserts. It's located in an excellent location and has very beautiful interiors. I will definitely recommend this place.
Cinema City restaurant in Jerusalem. Coffee shop, restaurant, shakes and more.
Nice space inside. Hardworking staff.
I had the arincello which is risotto with mushrooms fried in tomato sauce. It was excellent. The whitefish was also good. Salads are pretty large. Coffee drinks and shakes are done well.
Ambiance of coffee house restaurant.
Nice place! Good atmosphere. The mochachino and pizza were great and the staff were very nice and service quick.

We were there for a family birthday celebration. The food was good, and so was the service. The staff was pleasant.
But they had us at one long table right near the entrance which made conversation somewhat difficult ... people came from many areas of Israel and some were visiting. A private room or more secluded area would have been greatly appreciated.
We came during Chanukah, we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated, not bc there wasn’t tables but bc the kitchen couldn’t handle the crowd, and the restaurant was only half full. Any restaurant knows that during vacation time it’s busier, not clear why they were unprepared. When we sat it took another 15 minutes until they took our order. Four dishes we ordered they didn’t have, ridiculous. After another almost 20 minutes I asked what is going on with the food we ordered, and it turns out the waitress had forgotten to put the order in. It took us over an hour to get our food and we were rushed bc we had tickets to see a movie. The worst and most unprofessional experience, very disappointing.

There was a singer outside for חנוכה. He was singing some popular Israeli songs. The food was terrific 🤩. And our waiter was accommodating; he made sure my younger siblings got their food first, and he always ensured everything came on time—an absolute delight.
Visited this restaurant while touring Old Jerusalem. Great staff, great atmosphere and good wine. Spent a relaxing hour chatting with the bartender. Wonderful break for after a full day. Highly recommend.
Me and my friend had really good time here. Good food and pleasent atmosphere.
The staff went above and beyond making sure my friend who has a severe peanut allergy wouldn't get anything with peanuts in her food!!!
I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they were missing lots of things on the menu.(pancakes, fries, breaded cauliflower to name a few) In their defense it was a little late in the evening.
They did make a great cup of coffee,
And an amazing waffle with soo many toppings!!

Upscale dining experience but with fairly affordable prices. I enjoyed the person playing music at the restaurant. I got the eggplant Parmesan and I was not that impressed, but while I was recovered completely from Covid my taste buds were not recovered so I am mostly judging the dining experience.

I always love this place. I usually go to the branch on Emek Refaim street but this was an even better location as the parking is easier and the view of the botanical gardens is spectacular. The restaurant itself is beautiful, service is good. The menu is varied and my favorite dish are the Teriyaki Salmon Skewers served on a bed of basmati rice with green beans and peas on top. It’s something very special. The pasta is excellent and the kids menu is nice sized and reasonably priced.

Very good and very Italian.

It did take a while till they seated us but once seated most of the food came out pretty fast (our reservation for 20 was also with a preordered menu).

It is not the very best kosher Italian restaurant I've been to but the food was all decent to very good. It is quite expensive....

This is my favorite classy dairy restaurant in Jerusalem. The ambiance is like none other. Although this is an upscale dining experience the food comes out in a very timely manner. The service was outstanding. The place is very crowded however you still have your own space. The live outdoor music is very unique and most enjoyable as the songs being played are all oldies but goodies. The food is exceptional and presentation is lovely. I give this a very enthusiastic two thumbs up.

We were there in an birthday event. I believe that the people who invited us paid a lot of money but the guests got second rate food. Most of the salad and dishes (pasta, pizza) were too salty. There was nothing special or tasty except of the chocolate cake which was served as a dessert and was OK.
Great restaurant offering a dairy menu with traditional "American-style" Italian offerings. Excellent place for dates! They have a private room too for meetings or larger groups.

We went on a Saturday night, the place was crowded, which I guess was a good sign. They had no room to seat us but we we able to easily order takeout which they packed up nicely for us. It is in the Tachana Rishona so we sat in one of the little huts to eat. The soups we ordered were good, one pea soup and an orange soup. I really liked the orange soup and the pea was nice as well . I just don’t love pea soup all that much in general. The gnocchi was disappointing both the aioli sauce and the consistency of the gnocchi. Our friends ordered a calzone and a pizza and ate every last bite so I guess you could say they liked what they ordered. If I were in the area and wanted something dairy to eat I may try it again if it were less crowded and their was a table with service available.

We called ahead and booked a seat and when we arrived there were over thirty people outside - all booked ahead. Over half an hour passed and we still weren't seated until we just have up.
What a waste of an evening!

We gave this place another try a year later. This time it was almost empty. Unfortunately the wait staff barely knew Hebrew. We ordered the steak (which was good), and the Arais (which was not good). The Arais was too greasy and the pita bread was over done, dry and burned.
The fries were decent though!

The service was great! Seating inside or outside. Part view of the grass and trees and other side mountain with property developments at work. The menu is big so my guess is its pre prepared and not fresh from scratch. Taste is ok. Prices are ok
Had a great experience here. Service was fast and excellent. Pizza was the second best I’ve ever had in Israel (I’m a pizza snob—I only eat at the Neapolitan pizzeria in the Galilee). Good thin crust. The gnocchi with arrabiata sauce was absolutely delicious. In my mind a great sauce makes the Italian food and they got it goin on. Lovely outdoor seating at first station. Great date place!

Probably the worst place where you can eat in the campus.
today I paid 38 NIS for a small bowl of the saddest past I ever had.
Luckily they serve it with garlic cracker - which is like garlic bread but, thin, dry and cold.
Worst deal in the history of deals.
Fantastic unique atmosphere underground in an ancient vault next to the Temple Mount with original design decor and great food. Great place for a celebration.

Good specials. Well organized, plenty of space, good customer service. Real soft furniture, though well worn.
1. Freshly cooked pasta and pizza of Fabiano are hugely popular on HUJI campus.
2. Options to have vegetarian pasta, they have kept everything separate.
3. Quantity and quality of food is worth the price.
4. Ambience is cosy and relaxing.
The steak was excellent. It was however very pricey and the portion was quiet small. I guess the way steaks are sold in Israel is by the ounce which is also the price listed. There's also a minimum of I believe 6 oz. I don't often have the opportunity to have good kosher steak so I splurged, but I certainly could not afford to do that often. My wife had the fish special. I think it was Cod. She claimed it was very good as well.
food fair shakshuka was good
service slow
Tourist restaurant. Prices are high, food is medium quality, there is a strange smell inside. The only 2 good things in this restaurant is that it's Kosher (if you care about that) and the fact that it's very close to the Kotel.

One of the only almost good places to eat on Campus. It's not great, but it is reasonable, and the service is very good, which is a big advantage compared to "Fabiola"
Food was cold, low Hygiene. Salad incl. in breakfast was not as rich as in Greg Malha. White bread was distasteful. Hummus didn't seem fresh, when we complained they brought it back covered with parsley and chick peas which is insulting.
For compensation they gave us Belgian Waffle "on the house".
Treat your employees better, so they will treat the customers the same way.

The best place for coffee at the Givaat Ram/Safra campus. Nice atmosphere and tasty pastries and sandwiches. Prices are slightly more expensive than the usual rates across the university but so is the quality.
Dishes are good. Ask waiters for the best ones on a specific day. Takes a bit time to serve :-(
Very nice lunch spot in the Old City with very friendly staff.
A friend of ours said this her favourite place to eat in Israel. I was saying to myself, "Ya, sure", with a healthy dose of doubt. I was pleasantly surprised as the potions are generous and the taste is actually quite good. We did not have to wait for a long time even though we are a party of eighteen and was ordering multiple dishes. The prices are also reasonable given the portions served. I could honestly say, "It is worth just coming here to give the place a try and tel me how you like it."
