I was disappointed the food was not good. The burger was soggy and way too big. You can barely pick it up. The fries they show on the menu they don’t have. Overall, it was not good. Also, the sweet and sour chicken wrap was not good either. We didn’t bother finishing.
Overpriced food and hookah. So many better options in Hollywood and Glendale than this place. Management is terrible towards their staff. Food is okay, not great but definitely overpriced. All in all not a great place. The only plus this place has is the large outdoor seating area. Other than that, I would say stay clear of this establishment.
Great Mediterranean cafe. I've only eaten inside because I didn't like dining where anyone is smoking. The patio has nice fires and people smoking hookahs. Inside the restaurant there are regular tables and booths, better for regular dining. The food is yummy and the portions are large. There are lots of salads to choose from, sandwiches, egg dishes, vegetarian food, more traditional meat items, and hamburgers.
There is both dairy and meat on the menu, it's not kosher.
Nice atmosphere and attentive service. We regretted ordering an appetizer only because the entree portions were really big. Everyone in our group liked their meals, there were some nice options if you want non greasy food.

Average food, annoying crowd and service. Clueless hipsters overpaying for average product, as is their wont. The proprietors at Sepan Chicken three blocks away must be so frustrated that their protect is much better and cheaper, yet the oddly bearded privileged smugsters have no clue what they are missing

I can confirm, as a Southern lady, Dune has the best fried chicken I've had in Los Angeles! Omg the chicken!!!!!! The hummus and lamb sandwich were also shining stars. Also enjoyed the dude playing music.

Lived in the middle east for many years so Im familiar with the taste of a good kebab, this is so far the best Mediterranean restaurant I've tried in LA! Reasonably priced and the food taste is authentic. Friendly owner and staff! Will definitely recommend and come back

10/10 recommend. So flavorful and delicious. It’s always busy and for good reason. My friend who joined me is vegetarian and said the falafel was to die for. My grilled chicken plate was perfect and the portions are great. Two meals in one!
Overall food was delicious. But asian server I got probably was kinda inexperienced, she just hung a plate for me to self-serve whilst my hands were busy and she was standing and waiting for me to grab it. I literally needed to say “Can you put it for me?” Also a lot of men talking loudly and always strolling around is not creating the best atmosphere to stay…

Seriously delicious and reasonably priced spot in Atwater with a window and outdoor seating only. The quality and quantity of food was excellent for the price. It’s hard to actually feel full with healthy food that’s actually delicious for under $20 these days. I subbed cucumber for pita bread for a gluten free option with the hummus and it was surprisingly filling. Highly recommend.
I was in downtown and stopped for some great Mediterranean food at Mediterranean delight. And let me tell you, it was definitely delightful. I had the super combo and it was tasted absolutely amazing. A nice fellow named Eddie helped me out and he was extremely charismatic and had great service. Highly recommend!

Dune nails it! The fried chicken at Dune reeled me in on night one. Those chicken thighs and fries? Let's just say they're a duo worth celebrating. With a diverse menu, it's like a party in your mouth for everyone in your crew.

Props to my partner for discovering Dune and bringing me into the fold. From the delectable hummus to the freshly fried fries and those generous plates loaded with salad goodies – it's a culinary delight deserving of a solid 5 stars. Dune, you've got the recipe for deliciousness down pat!

cash only establishment—

ordered take out and even then, the food was delicious. they were able to make substitutions to the plates we ordered
(subbed chicken thigh, and subbed bean salad for grilled tomatoes!)

all the meats had a great char to them without losing any moisture

I always get the fried chicken shawarma sandwich look it’s one of my favorite dishes to pair up with a side of French fries. The rosemary lemonade is delicious and left me craving for more once I finished it.

Best falafel in Los Angeles! Seriously so delicious. I love both the sandwich (pictured) and the falafel platter.

I am writing this review to alert others about the deceptive practices at this restaurant, particularly when dealing with Parinaz, a hostess who seems to have mastered the art of overcharging unsuspecting customers.

On my recent order of 5 large salads, I requested a mere 16 oz of dressing, only to find out I was charged an additional $10. The driver, an employee of the restaurant, tried to justify this outrageous fee by claiming it was for ‘extra’ dressing. Since when does a salad not come with any dressing at all? This is a clear case of inconsistency, as I have placed the exact same order with other staff members and was never charged extra.

I am appalled at this dishonesty and feel compelled to warn others about this blatant act of thievery. I am also reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau. Buyers beware - check your bill carefully when dealing with this establishment, and be wary of hidden charges.

I ordered #10 (Beef Kabab with Rice). The Kabab turned out to be nice and juicy but the portion does not justify the price. They only take cash, the give price is 15.50$ plus tax turned out to be 17$. Tables and washroom wasn't clean. WATCH OUT #30 Beef Gyro Wrap is not Halal meat. I don't think i'll go back.

Loved this place! The Meze Plate was amazing. There was a good variety of side pickles/vegetables/sauce/dips. The presentation was also fantastic. Definitely try the fried chicken here too! Outdoor seating in a cute little area, but can get a tad crowded during meal times. Absolutely will be back!
My recent visit to Mediterranean DelightMediterranean Delight gem left me utterly delighted. The ambiance, reminiscent of a coastal paradise, instantly transports you to the Mediterranean. The soft lighting, sea breeze, and elegant decor set the stage for a memorable evening. The service here is nothing short of exceptional. The staff's warmth and attentiveness make you feel like a cherished guest. They guided us through the menu, recommending delectable dishes that perfectly complemented our preferences. The food here is a gastronomic masterpiece. Each dish is a symphony of flavors, with the freshest ingredients and expertly crafted recipes. The mezze platter was a tantalizing start, and the lamb shawarma was succulent perfection. This restaurant is a true oasis. The outdoor seating area, adorned with lush greenery, offers an intimate and tranquil dining experience. It's perfect for a romantic date night or a gathering with friends. Don't forget to save room for dessert! The baklava was a revelation, and the rosewater-infused ice cream was a sweet, fragrant ending to a phenomenal meal. The dessert menu alone is worth the visit.

The welcome bread was perfect. Tahdig appetizer wasn't that much crispy. Soltani kebab was good. The quality of the sumac wasn't good. I hope they change it.
Overall was good and we like it. The atmosphere can be much much better.

They are finally open again for indoor dining! The food is great and nothing has changed. The service is great and they have done a small remodel to give the place a newer look. I would highly recommend the Lubia Polo with Koobideh as that is my favorite here. The boneless chicken and lamb shank is awesome as well. Finally they hookup the Tahdig and it is a must as an appetizer.

I've got the fried chicken plate! Everything was tasty and delicious! But it was more expensive than I've expected (final price around $24) compared to the price range I saw on Google maps!

This restaurant is amazing and they really know how to cook Persian food. Also, they just recently opened up the dining room, so now you can experience the atmosphere inside of the restaurant instead of having to order takeout. The dining room has been closed for about 3 1/2 years.

Food is ok. Nothing to complain about but also nothing to rave about. We got the chicken wrap and the fried chicken and hummus. Both had good flavor and were good on their own but just not really worth the time. The fried chicken was definitely not fried chicken it was a grilled chicken.
I got Salmon Kabob for lunch, and I didn't like it at all. The fish smelled like not fresh.

The lamb sandwich was much smaller than the fried chicken shawarma, but both were delicious!
This place was a diamond in the rough!! You have to get the fried Chicken Schwarma sandwich otherwise you will be sad when you see someone else order it and not you. Literally this place was a cute vibe, good price, great value, and really kind server. I will definitely be coming back here. (Also a very clean bathroom is always a plus!)

I got food delivered to me a few days ago. Their service is truly unbeatable. The nice lady on the phone was so helpful and told me exactly what each item included. Made me feel comfortable and the delivery driver was even better. They come with a great attitude and they bring the food inside for you if you'd like because usually it is HOT! Love the food and service!

Randomly decided to try it out prior to shopping at Sante Alley, and was so glad we did. Food was delicious, enjoyed how flavorful my beef kebabs were.

Excellent service and friendly staff! Busy at night time for people who enjoy nightlife and do hookah with food. We LOVED the Greentea shots; it was delicious and unique!
It's packed and busy at night; no dine-in inside, just the patio. They also have a heated fan to stay warm at night.
They have valet, or you can find meter parking in the front.

I ordered the picked beets sandwich without onions. It was really tasty and filling. Will definitely come back to try other things on their menu.
The best food! The best service and their hospitality was out of this world! Truly a wonderful experience.
We are from Houston and this was our first time trying Armenian food. Great service and hospitality. Felt very welcomed and like we are part of their family. Definently recommend the beef kabob and the spicy cheese. A must try!
We went here late night while staying in the city. This place is excellent. The dipping appetizer was so good and the pita bread was hot straight from a press. I got the Aroma steak sandwich and I couldn't put it down. My girlfriend ordered the Shawarma sandwich and that was equally delicious. Service was excellent as well, very attentive to the needs of the table. Would highly recommend checking this place out.

phenomenal, although there is no real seating, the food was fantastic. The chicken schwarma and fries were phenomenal. Falafel was above average for sure, and had great plating with average pricing.

definately worth a try, i wouldn't drive hours to get here, but if you're in the area probably some of the best fast mediterranean food around.

5 stars all around. Really good lamb, beef and chicken. Tender and tasty best persian kabobs in Los Angeles. Always one of my favorite Persian food places to go. It’s always fresh and delicious.
The food quality is excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection and you can taste the fresh ingredients of the food. Outstanding customer service.

I went there this past weekend as I was in the area and ordered a chicken sultani. It was okay little pricey for the portion tho. $23 with a can of coke. They had added this spice to the chicken that I did not like, it tasted like a curry spice. It was not an middle eastern spice. This location only takes cash. So be prepared. Won’t go back.
Aroma, to me is a hidden gem located on the cusp of West Hollywood and Hollywood!

It gives off fancy diner but casual cafe! Food is phenomenal and staff is friendly! Ran into this place cause it was one of few restaurants open on Christmas Day! Staff was friendly and welcoming! They have a nice patio, haven’t dined inside but will do in the future.

Menu has wide variety mostly American and Mediterranean influence! They have great breakfast and lunch choices as well as dinner plates! A full bar If needed and some well NA beverages as well. One thing especially about this place is they don’t skim you out of your meal, this place gives you the portions for what it is!
Mediterranean restaurant with a lot of choices (maybe too much ^^)
The portions are huge!
And everything is very delicious.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The service is quick and efficient.
The decoration is nice.
The hookah is average and pricy.
It was the worse dinner I have ever had in my entire life the kabob was not fresh smeal old like several days inside the fridge and the chicken was not fresh too also the service was treble, I had got to get up and go to kitchen ask for service that they never brought in, at the end they charged for old green grown onion that was for maybe 2-3 weeks old for $2.00 never seen even in desert if you eat like this kind of services and charges.
I would never recommend anyone to eat there,
terrible atetude from the lady the owner.

Great hummus and falafel. Tasty and fresh, be sure to ask for hot sauce. No seating inside, there are a few tables out front, some with umbrellas. Primarily setup for pick up/take out. Definitely worth visiting.
This place is so good if you ever get a chance to go here don't pass it up. I can't wait to go back next week. I'll make sure to take pics this time. Last time I got the chicken kabob plate and will again next week.
Food is outstanding. I really loved the very fresh salad, usually I don’t even try the salad because it looks soggy but this one was especially well prepared and delicious. Pic attached. The guy who took my order must have been rushed or maybe it’s green culture to be like, yes? What do you want? Ok 10 min. It was quick he doesn’t waste time on the phone lol so be prepared.
The food was very fresh and delicious. I was expecting more vegetables in the soup. OVERALL, the food was very tasty. Definitely will come back😀. The pear soda went very well with the chicken dish. The waitress was also very pleasant.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The flavors are so bright, so complex, and so well balanced. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was just incredible. With all of the traditional fried chicken places opening around LA, this fresh Mediterranean take definitely deserves a look.

When I went, they didn’t have any indoor seating; not sure how that will change as things reopen more and more. You order at the counter, and food comes out in about 10 minutes. They have outdoor seating (3-4 tables) on the sidewalk.
Every time I'm in this part of DTLA I have to come here! One of my favorite restaurants in LA! The chicken is SO GOOD!!! Awesome baba ghanoush and hummus! And the garlic sauce rocks!! UPDATE: It's been a while since I've been in this part of DTLA and I was so excited to grab some lunch here. It's still amazing! I don't know what they do to the chicken but it is ridiculously good! Turned my BFF on to it too!

Great must try place! I always get the #1 plate with chicken. Great tasting food, love the options they have. If you’re unsure I recommend trying the #1 plate and then trying out other options from there. Friendly staff, place is always clean. Been here several times and I am always looking forward to the next. Cash only.
