The Staff at this location does not want to be there whatsoever. Everyone looks so fed up. There was only 1 other person in line before me already finishing paying. Up front, there were a total of 4 employees. The person who served my rice set my bowl aside for the add ons, for the next employee to add. After me 4 girls showed up so the 1st employee got busy. The person at the register just stood there looking out the window, didn’t help. The other 2 employees were just walking around, not helping either.
Why was I standing waiting for so long if not a single person was in front of me & there were 3 other employees just standing there?

They have fresh ingredients. You can choose from the menu or build your own bowl. You can even add to take off items from menu choices. They service was fast and you can even order ahead of time. wasn't disappointed and was pleasantly pleased by the food we got. would definitely cone again.

Ordered takeout, but the place is pleasant and beautiful inside! A kindly proprietor proferred my order quickly and with all the trimmings (bread and onion).
The zereshk polo and lamb is phenomenal!

The worst kabob ever. Ordered soltani among other things. Barg was so dry and hard to chew. Koobideh was mixed with so many things you could not taste meat at all. And such small portion for the price. The lady that welcomes you and serves you is better off being in the back. She is probably a nice lady but she is not made for customer service. She makes such faces, you feel like she is angry you are there.

This is the most phenomenal Persian food I've had, I absolutely love their food, so authentic, delicious and the best is the customer service!!
They are so polite, bring the food on time, amazing atmosphere!
I would recommend the Kabob Koobideh, Ghorme Sabzi with Salad shirazi !

CAVA locations are usually consistent. Most like this one are very good. The workers here actually know the dishes more than most locations. So if there's a long line, give them the benefit of the doubt, especially if you're getting it to go.

If you're unsure what to get, I recommend the Greek Chicken Bowl - get it as a pita if you want that as well.
Food is good, if a bit pricey. Decor is okay, but sound is an issue. Lots of bounce from hard surfaces. Service was a bit slow, but personable.

I went here for my first time yesterday. I thought the food was really delicious. I liked how there are many options for the base; not just rice, but several types of rice as well as several different green options. I also enjoyed the hummus choices and the sauce choices as well. They are definitely generous with the sauces. My bowl was filling and tasted really good. I got the blueberry lemonade and the cucumber lime lemonade and both were extremely refreshing as well. The only thing that I wished were different was their protein options. They have several options, but there were really only two you could pick if you didn’t want an extra charge of the base rate bowl price. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends and I look forward to visiting again.

well, goid food, they charge whatever they pleased. One sandwich Jerusalem mix is $19, yesterday they charge me $29 with a soda. Sandwich was mostly onion and hardly any chicken a mostly liver. I think is outrageous $29 for lunch sandwich Telaviv is much better and less with prices shown upfront.

I can’t rate anything as I walked in, came to the counter and stood, without even a greeting or acknowledgement , while the man behind the counter chatted nonstop with another man. The food looked good, but I’ll have to think about trying it in an establishment that appears to favor social interaction over the possibility of a new customer. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Total disappointed,
I ordered last night for a ill relative's in the area! Barg kebab with Rise; it was like half of a portion (very small) an over cooked 1/4 tomatoe, pepper was burned and the chicken was pieces drown in the box by itself!
No Bread, no Salad or any saferan on rise??

My husband and I went to this restaurant for the first time due to its good reviews. As soon as we entered, the lady who worked there without any welcome told us we serve food in to-go containers, which was very different from the photos on the website and photos. The food was ok, but the service was almost zero. In an area where there are many persian restaurants and there is intense competition, we expect more from this restaurant. I am sorry.
I ordered from there several times and highly recommend it and also the price is reasonable compare to other places 👍🏼

Great food, value and lovely owners. Highly picky with Persian food as I am Iranian myself and my family have owned a range of restaurants so I know quality Persian food when I have it. Their cherry rice is particularly great. Highly recommend!

I just happened to be in the vicinity and ran across the most wonderful restaurant. More exciting is believe it or not I had not ever tried Persian Cuisine.

It was the most delightful experience! My guest and I wanted a quick delicious lunch and believe me it was absolutely worth the find!

Starting with the beautiful woman who was one of the owners. She greeted us with such warmth and kindness. She explained their operations and their menu. We ordered and we were served the most delicious lunch.

She told us her husband was the Chef and to our satisfaction he was an excellent Chef! Everything was very good. Please patronize this business, give community support and enjoy, because you truly will. Thank you Alborz!

🇮🇱 ISRAEL (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - The Kurdish options are known as kubbeh hamusta (sour) and get their tone from the use of fresh lemon juice and citric acid in the broth. The Kurdi kubbeh okra siske meat ($23) might surprise someone who is not ready for this tartness, as the color of the broth somehow tricks you into expecting a different taste. But after the initial shock it grows on you, the bowl is suddenly empty and you are longing for more. The shining star and namesake semolina dumpling is somewhat hidden by the broth, okra, and other vegetables when it arrives, but will soon be the focus of your meal. The thick shell is slightly chewy and luxurious and would be laughed at further east in Asia, but combined with the savory shredded beef inside pairs perfectly with the hamusta broth.

DO NOT EAT HERE! Ate here Saturday 11th of Feb and got the worst food poisoning you can imagine from kashk o bademjan. weird set up you have to help yourself with starters from the fridge they have no severs, plastic knife and fork and you’re served in to go box! Food in the fridge does not have dates so god knows when they were prepared. Me and my wife spent 2 days in bed lucky enough my 2 year old didn’t have the food. Disgusting DO NOT EAT HERE.

This is a small, simple yet excellent Persian restaurant. I decided to visit on a Friday night (surprisingly they close relatively early), and it was relatively busy. There are a few tables to sit and dine here but I ordered the Falafel Plate as takeout. The plates come with plenty of food! There were 6 pieces of fresh falafel, rice, and salad/veggies. The food was very fresh, simple, and delicious. There was even enough for almost 2 meals for me! This is a great Mediterranean restaurant with a very easy menu!

Updated. Horrible. Chicken had a burnt taste and spinach leafs are the size of my palm. Plus lady that was serving me the bowl was horrible at being attentive and whatsoever interested in working there
Would not come back

Amazing value for the price. I got their new lemon chicken bowl or something. Amount of nutritions you get is amazing and the taste is there too. Much better than Chipotle imho. Goos job
My family has heard of Kourosh Restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. We came on a weeknight, and it was pretty empty, which was kinda nice in a way. I love how they serve fresh, warm, complementary bread and butter. The dinner portions are pretty big, and come with lots of rice. The boneless chicken kabob is very good, pretty juicy and tasty. The white fish with sabzi polo (green rice) was very good and well made. We also ordered the gheymeh stew with tahdig. The gheymeh was well made. The tahdig wasn’t so fresh but still okay. Overall a good experience. I’m not sure if they are understaffed or just because it was a random weeknight. I would go again just because the food is very good.

Delicious Persian food at great prices. My favorite is the ground chicken kabob plate. The menu is small but everything we've tried here is good. We were happy to see lots of people ordering take out and supporting this small local establishment.

Ordered take out from here while trying this restaurant for the first time.

We ordered the falafel veggie wrap and the chicken pita wrap. They came with fresh veggie and a number of sauces and fresh pita bread.
Falafel very really soft and tasty.

We also had the salad bowl with chicken. The chicken was really fresh and had a good number of veggie to it which was really nice.

Nice place to try out some Mediterranean food which is very similar to Chipotle.

Great food and service, the rice with cherries is delicious 😋
I’ve recently been exposed to Persian food by my colleagues at UCLA and I wanted to try one nearby my brother’s house in Woodland Hills. I found this restaurant and boy it did not disappoint. The ambience was great and the staff was just super friendly! The shish kabob and lamb chops were marvelous! I highly recommend this place to anyone around! It is one, if not one of the best, Persian places I’ve found!

No wonder place wasn’t busy. If you’re a salad lover, DO NOT COME NEAR. The products in the salad were old, stale, and tasteless at-best. Sure, the meat was good, but not enough to cover for us salad lovers.
We couldn’t enjoy our meals, and ended just eating the beef.
A shame, since this area has great veggies, and making a cucumber or simple mid-east salad shouldn’t be a hard task.

I am visiting from Los Angeles where there are many many kabab restaurants. The quality at this restaurant beats all kabab places in Los Angeles. I ordered the koobideh kabab and was amazed. Great location next to park and nice seating outside. Inside is great classy decor and excellent friendly staff. I also tried the Ghormeh Sabzi and was extremely satisfied. Definitely recommend!
