I think this place is amazing. Food is fantastic. Wait was short and staff was so lively. I love it so much
Not only was the food excellent but the service was excellent, too! I was surprised it wasn’t more busy, especially because of the quality of the food. The prices were reasonable too. We got a falafel wrap, Greek salad, hummus, and a beer for $20 a person.
The food was pretty darn good. My siblings really liked the chicken, they say it's one of the best chicken they have tried. Only thing was that my mom got the chicken breast that basically isn't seasoned with anything, so it was expected to taste plain. But it didn't even have salt, so she didn't enjoy it (she can't have foods with certain seasonings so). I got some beef sandwich thing (forgot the name), it was pretty good yet kinda tasted sweet which was interesting. Service was well, definitely no Chick-fil-A service or atmosphere but well, they were kind I guess. The service and atmosphere isn't anything special so, but they weren't rude so that's okay. Was a little packed yet and I thought our food would take long, since we are a family of 5 yet to my surprise we didn't wait long.
Fresh, bright flavors in the Greek salad and chicken breast plate, and the lentil soup is something I'll be craving. Next time I'm in Burbank again, I'm coming here to eat. Nice staff too and really great prices!

GREAT sneaky spot for a tasty (and affordable!) meal before or after a movie at the AMC. Owner is super friendly, beer is cold and $4.50, and the combo plate with some lentil soup and rice really hit the spot.
So I am on the no carb diet, so no bread, no pita NO CARBS!!!
So I come here and ask for 3 dudes of gyro meat.. The guy says they don't sell it and I can buy the sandwich. I said I funny want a sandwich I just want the meat. You sell the other sandwich meats ala cart but not gyro? That is so weird and never have I ever been to a place that doesn't sell gyro meat by it's self. Drove all the way from Glendale to hear the most ridiculous thing ever. But the good news is, at least I now know of a Mediterranean spot I will never return to ior recommend. Bad Job guys 🙄

Love Zankou. I've been eating here for most of my life. This one, was once the nicest around- now a glimpse of it's former self. It's always kinda sticky- never feels really clean. The food is always fantastic. This store is always busy, it must be hard to keep up. But a deep cleaning would go a long way.
They are always friendly and food are fantastic!!! Smell so good!! Lots of grilled pepper, tomatoes and great quality meat. I don't know how to read their menus. So they prepare the dinner when I wait there. You feel like they treat you like family friends. " Your dinner is here" love them. Although I am poor, I give them tips. 🤗👌
There is actually a lot of variety between various Zankous locations, and this one is definitely the best.
The chicken stuff is good, but where it really sets itself apart is the beef plates. Literally all of them are can't miss.
Also, the hummus here is always fresher than some of the other spots around L.A.

The food was hot, fresh, reasonably priced for the portions. I got double meat and had enough for a light dinner the following night. The restaurant was very clean with the staff was friendly and continually maintained the cleanliness of the counters drink/sauce station, and tables between gaps in customers. Sorry, I ate everything before taking a picture.
I love their food. I always have. You cannot go wrong with their menu selection of food either. I can honestly say they're all quite tasty and filling. The staff are also quite friendly and helpful (at least during my most recent visit).
My only gripe is the very low and somewhat tight booth bench seating. I'm 6'1 and I had a hard time getting in and out of those seats. If you're a group of 4 tall folks, that will be tough.
There are wheelchair / stroller access ramps with a good amount of parking spots too. If you can't park near them, there's also free parking at the lot next to it.

Amazing, I don’t usually leave reviews for places I visit but with the service and food how how can I not. I’ve seen the place around and have hang out in the restaurant’s outside tables but never really entered to buy food. I loved everything, the place was very nice and clean, pretty calming with the music. Service was 10/10 all workers seem very nice people. I ordered a chicken bowl and it was very hot which was good for me so I don’t eat cold food because I take too long to eat. I always like to stick to a tight budget so I don’t spend too much, for the amount of food I got it was a pretty decent price. The food was amazing, the best Mediterranean meal I have ever eaten. I tried the cucumber and lime juice and it was very refreshing too, not too sweet not too bland. Sauces were 8/10, loved the harissa and tahini sauces (garlic not so much) it was mainly the texture of the garlic sauce I didn’t like but that’s just a preference of mine, the taste was pretty good. Experience 10/10 food 9/10
Fantastic place! My wife and I try to go every week. The good is fantastic and the crew (especially the manager Cris) are always really nice. I highly recommend the fire box, the chili sauce and spicy hummus is a great addition to the rest of the box. I highly recommend it for an affordable dinner that won't make you feel like you ate a unhealthy meal.
My husband and I eat at Kebab shop AT LEAST once a week — it’s a go to for us because it’s consistently delicious and much healthier than other take out options. The manager Cris is really friendly and took the time to introduce himself to my husband and me. We’ll continue to be regulars for years to come!
Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The restaurant handles big orders very well as we order from here quite often and always able to pick it up at the designated time. Props to the general manager Cris for handling the orders with care!
Food is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful when explaining the menu, so try it if you’ve never been. The steak is my favorite…juicy, savory and quality meat that won’t pull your teeth out.
It’s a must if you truly appreciate Mediterranean food.

I can’t believe I didn’t know this place existed, when it’s been in business for 30 years! Sometimes you just want a yummy lentil soup or kufta soup that reminds you of your moms cooking. Food was great, service was friendly, will definitely be back! Got a chocolate raspberry dessert at the end, picture included!

Really good food, great service. We were going to Raffis but they were closed and this place is open till 2am!! I didn't expect for the food to be so good! Very savory, juicy and satisfying. I had the Beef Lule and Hubby Sultany and kids the mix beef and chicken and all 3 were amazing! Will deff come back! Not a big place but great for a quick dine in, hopefully in the future the place will be expanded
This place is a gem. Owner takes care of your order and makes it for you. Small place but clean and delicious. The chicken shish and beef lula were great. Trying to eat healthy so the owner served me all salad and no rice and he kept the pita bread although I realllllly wanted it.

This was my second time coming here. I wanted to try the doner . I have not had a true doner kebob since I went to Istanbul. The first time I went I ordered a doner and it was tasty but still did not remind me of when I went to Istanbul because it was missing the fries. When I was leaving the Kebob Shop I looked at the Menu again and realized they have a Doner called the San Diego with fries in it. I tried that on my second visit and wow, it was delicious, juicy, and had the nice crispy fries. I have not tried the other dishes but I’m giving five stars for the doner. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and there is plenty of parking with little wait while ordering. It’s not a fancy sit down restaurant but a small business for dine in or take out. My family and I have made this our go to for doner kebob.

Something about the Zankou Chicken kabob plate is magical to me. I'm a big guy, and this is a meal that never fails to fill me up. It is always made fresh to order, and the meats they use are tender and filled with flavor.

Oh, this place was great. I went here with my friends, and we all gathered around a table and we got huge portions of delicious Greek food.

This place is as inconspicuous as it is unassuming; do not be fooled however. The kebabs flavor and texture will dazzle and delight. The owners/operators are genuine and welcoming. I highly recommend trying this place out. I drove from Los feliz to Burbank on a Friday at 6 pm just to cater to my craving. It's worth it!

Came here for the first time and love this place so much. The food was amazing and their pricing is reasonable. I liked the chef, he was so cool. We chatted about Las Vegas and stuff. Thanks so much.

I ordered food from this restaurant many times and I think I can provide objective and knowledgeable review. Most important criterias for me are the quality of ingredients and quality of the final product. The restaurant looks very popular judging by the number of people always waiting inside and outside to pickup their food. This is a good sign for any service as it means their food supply is always fresh. All meat dishes I ordered were very tasty and grilled to perfection. Staff is no-nonsense and all about serving customers quickly and very helpful in getting meal to be prepared per my specifications.
The food here is great, worth 5 stars. However, previously I had rated them 3 stars, because of it's male staff being excessively rude even after repeated business. I decided to sate my Mediterranean food needs elsewhere. Fortunately, one late night, in the area I decided to give them another shot. Since not much else was open. I was pleased to see the same staff in much better attitude and it seemed spirit, as well. This as influenced me to give them the 5 stars their food and now restaurant, as a whole deserve. I hope they keep it up. I will be returning again!
The plates normally come with 2 skewers of meat but I was able to add another skewer. Everything was very tasty however a little on the salty side. I like to eat my rice and yogurt with cucumber together and the salt was too much, didn't stop me from eating the whole plate but they can ease up on the salt.

At least one of the employees hangs outside smoking, then dumps his cigarette butt onto an ever-growing pile. There are at least 50 cigarette butts at the side of the property. It's disgusting and illegal. For this reason, I will not shop there.
One of my favorite places to eat at.Friendly workers. And big portioned delicious food. Seriously if you order the roasted chicken plate make sure to share it's not a one person plate lol well unless you have a big appetite!. The hummus and salads are very tasty and love the seasoning of the chicken.

Haven't been here for a long while since covid started and glad its still here. The food is as good as always and since I went in early , the food was made quickly. The only change on the food is that they put seasoned cooked onions on top , besides the red onions. Definitely a place to stop by in burbank.

Good place for basic kebabs and lula, no frills eatery decent prices , honest food
Food is delicious n fresh u can taste it freshness people is nice an bathroom is Clean. Kitchen looks clean (I saw it when I went to the bathroom) food taste great! I am pleased
