I have been to Thessaloniki few times, this was the best place to have lunch! Amazingly tasty food, nice natural atmosphere know for a proper Greek restaurant and great, kind and professional staff. I truly recommend!
Simple easy, when a wanna be manager let his girl run around like a street here????. The guys serving --- great , no complains .special thanks to the guys behind the bar. Thanks God I never have to go there again
We hosted a 20-person family dinner here and was extremely disappointed by the service. it was a busy night i understand that, but 1 server for the entire restaurant on a saturday night was really unacceptable. We had to really wait a really long time for every single drink or order and when we expressed our concern, the response we got was that our tables are arranged in a way that its not easy for them to reach us efficiently, which is not our problem because they are the one who arranged the tables that way. We just wanted an intimate semi/formal dinner for our international guests and that wait really ruined the whole experience. the food was average as well
We ordered Moussaka and lamb and pork kebab with pita. Both dishes were amazingly delicious, especially the kebab. Also some good tea to accompany it all.
The Greek Restaurant is located in a charming alley near the sea, surrounded by trees, which makes for an impressive setting. The ambiance, being so close to nature, is quite peaceful. The calamari and octopus are particularly well-prepared and very tasty. For those who love seafood, these two options are definitely recommended. However, the mezes were unfortunately average and not very impressive.
The service was quite slow, which was a disappointment. Even the menu arrived late at our table, which affected our experience negatively. While we were expecting quick and efficient service, the slowness diminished the overall enjoyment. With improved service quality, this beautiful location could become a much more delightful place.

The staff is friendly, and the location is excellent with plenty of options to choose from. Although they promote themselves as gluten-free friendly, the first dish I received wasn't. However, they promptly corrected the mistake without hesitation. Many of the shared plates were fantastic, but the fish lacked flavor.
Underwhelming food experience at higher than average prices. Gets a lot of good reviews and is popular with the Greek lunch crowd but having had lunch at close to a hundred places in Greece I'd say they put too much effort on appearance and not enough on the kitchen.
This local Greek restaurant serves amazing food that will leave you craving for more. However, the staff and organization can be a bit chaotic, which might affect your dining experience. Nevertheless, the exceptional flavors make it a worthwhile culinary adventure.
Amazing traditional Greek food! We tried the octopus which was well cooked and tasted amazing among the sauce (hummus and olive oil), then we had shrimps with sauce and fried pan calamari.

I said let's try this restaurant because they have almost all kinds of traditional Greek food. The food is super good, the portions are quite large and the prices are ok for the quality of the food. The fish was very fresh, the orange salad insane. I received from the restaurant 2 appetizer salads and fresh bread and at the end 2 glasses of liqueur ... something after the meal, with a superb taste. If I stayed a few more days, I wouldn't fit in the driver's seat anymore 🤣🤣
In ladadika area, there's no parking around, the place and atmosphere is amazing, helpful staff, moderate prices , dishes are great and tasteful!

Wide choice of freshly made small plates & seafood. Best was the grilled red mullets and calamari. Marinated seafood is slightly too salty. Most are dishes are pretty good.

This was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had! My husband loved the meat, said it was tender, went down like butter, and was extremely flavorful. We loved the brie and I had the gnocchi which were AMAZING! And the dessert was out of this world (we had the chocolate soufflé and baked Alaska). If you are on Thessaloniki...go here!!!
If you are looking for amazing greek food, a romantic setting and attentive staff then this is the place for you. Staff were very friendly and got our food and drink out to us quite quickly. The food was so tasty and we even got a free dessert at the end which was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend coming here.
Great location tucked away on a quiet little street tucked away from the crowds. A real find and very popular. The food was very good. Freshly cooked sardines, griddled meat skewers and crispy squid plus amazing fried courgettes. Fried potatoes and Greek salad also well prepared and fresh.Definitely one to try if you are looking for something special in Thessaloniki.
We came here according to google maps reviews. What one must definitely prepare for is: waiting. if you come after 8 p.m., be prepared to wait for a table for about 30 minutes. - so you must reserve a table! The service is very fast and friendly. The staff really tries to fulfill the guest's wishes. The food is tasty, but standard food. We didn't eat anything prepared differently here. Authentic Greek food with a bit more fish on offer. The location makes this restaurant magical!
Tucked in the middle of small alleyways is a greek restaurant that feels like an Italian trattoria. The sitting in the street creates a wonderful vibe, and the food is perfectly made. We tried several dishes, including the moussaka, meatballs in yogurt, and beef cheeks, and all were delicious.
The staff was friendly and the service was efficient. I'd love to come back.

Definitely a place we will recommend all to visit. Great atmosphere in the evening where you can sit outdoor in the cool air for a fine meal. We had the grilled octopus, seafood orzo pasta and fried calamari with beers. All were very well done. I especially like the Seafood Orzo Pasta with its generous seafood and taste. It would be perfect if we have a more generous serving of the octopus and smaller serving of the fried calamari.
Another overpriced restaurant for what it offers. Supposedly it offers premium quality meat cuts, but unfortunately what we tasted was blunt and chewy. What really surprised me was that such a "fancy" restaurant didn't have any normal salt apart rock type salt. As a result we ate our salad crunching within our teeth rock salt. Furthermore, while smoking is prohibited in the restaurant, there was a couple dining just outside, infront of an open window, and the gentleman was smoking a heavy cigar, exhaling all the smoke inside the restaurant. When I asked a waiter to tell him to stop smoking he replied that he can't do it. Thanks for the awful experience!

Lovely restaurant in the city centre. It was the first restaurant I went to, as soon as I landed in Thessaloniki - and my favourite so far! The food was out of this world. I had the zithos eggplant, the souvlaki, and the Greek platter (outstanding). I have never been so in love with a restaurant like this - I enjoyed every little bite. A shout-out to the man who served us - I don't know his name, but he has long hair (in a ponytail as far as I remember). The service provided by him was 10/10, and he walked us through the menu, advising on the best options for someone new to Greek food.
I went to this restaurant a second time and tried the mousaka, which was delicious.
Sad to leave Thessaloniki and Greek food behind - but this restaurant made my trip an even better experience.

Pork shops with baby potatoes was delicious.
My wife had the salad and my daughter had a chicken finger with fries. Local Draft beer was a great complement. Very good service and food quality.

Honestly, one of the best places where I have eaten in my life. We came back twice during our holiday. Incredible food, good price, great service, wonderful atmosphere. Moussaka, fried zucchini and millefoglie truly unmissable. It is very busy, particularly during the weekend so book in advance!
We visited Rouga on a busy Saturday evening and the staff helped us finding a table immediately.
There was live Greek music, but too loud, which is nice.
The menu has a great variety of Greek food and we tried many appetizers and a main dish. Everything was excellent and in good quantities. Their wine is also very nice.
Overall, one of my favourites in the city. Keep it up!

Restaurant in a cute alley way hidden from the main streets of Thessaloniki. All dishes we ordered were very yummy, and I especially liked the fried mushrooms. The service was fast and friendly. We also got dessert on the house.🙌 Since we had late lunch, we didn't have trouble getting a table without a reservation, but it looked pretty full even for that time so might be best to book a table if you're going for regular lunch or dinner time.
Timeless quality!! For me, it is considered among the best restaurants in Thessaloniki. Everything we tried was very tasty with quite good ingredients. Wonderfully cooked! Thumbs up to the kitchen and waiters

Had a wonderful family lunch on a special occasion! Ordered all of the five hot starters on the menu and shared some picanha and ribeye! Warm and cozy interior, very extensive yet affordable wine list and friendly and helpful staff! Although good things do not come cheap, the perceived quality is unquestionable!
This place is a gem in a city full of delicious dining options, this one stands out from the rest! Each plate is deliciously prepared as the chef says, “made with love” and packed with a punch of flavors in each bite. You can definitely tell the chef pours her heart in each plate and presentation! We have dined in many places in the US and abroad and we thought this place may very well be the best restaurant we have been to. We highly recommend the appetizers, salads and steaks- you cannot go wrong! Do not forget to try the desserts-they are amazing. Each dish is meticulously prepared and looks like a piece of art. We have tried many beautiful dishes that lack taste, but “not” here! Each dish does not disappoint and you feel like,wow, can the next plate match the previous ones expectations? Nothing disappoints! Make sure you make a reservation for dinner at least two days in advance. An added bonus is the owners (including the chef) walk around and are part of the very good service staff that make you feel at home and come to ask you about your meal. Super friendly and warm. We even took pictures before we left. It was like visiting family.
Super leckeres Essen. Sehr gute Qualität. Sehr nettes Personal. Das Lokal ist klein aber fein. Die Preise sind für Griechenland Verhältnisse etwas hoch aber für die Qualität gerechtfertigt. Kann es jedem empfehlen. Da es ziemlich ausgebucht ist sollte man mehrere Tage im voraus reservieren. Gratulation alles Top
