This lady is a piece of shot the food came cold and chicken tasted like rubber and she told me she wouldn’t give my money back
Great place to eat with your family. The food was really good and was plentiful. I really enjoyed the real french fries. The real gyro was amazing also. We will be forever customers
So I’ve been getting gyro world for years and the prices are going up too fast and the sizes of things are getting smaller. At least if you’re going to raise prices keep the the food the same size or the same portions. Why is a SMALL piece of spinach pie $9?!!! That’s insane. The platters are getting skimpy. It’s just so unfortunate because I love the food but soon I really won’t be able to afford it.
Just like the gyros we had in Athens. I would recommend the lamb/beef gyro sandwich with everything. Gyro platter is good too with rice. Lemon chicken soup helps counter the dryness. Wish they had all-lamb gyro. Gets busy so I would just order by phone first to pick up.
Paid $25 for a gyro platter which is double the price it used to be. Unfortunately I had an old menu at home so I didn't realize the price increase until I went to pick up. I will not eat here again. If the food quality had increased along with the price (or at least stayed the same) I wouldn't mind, but the food was lackluster. For that price it should be amazing. You're better off ordering the $8 combo from a halal cart down the street. The people are nice; hopefully they find a better job when this place inevitably shuts down.
We were in Astoria and wanted to try a new place to order dinner to take home. We wanted Turkish food and found this place on line. We called to place our order and the lady who answered was so nice! She took the time to answer all our questions without sounding rushed or bothered. She made sure to help us understand what we were ordering and was so incredibly sweet to both me and my husband! We ordered 2 dinners of chicken breasts with rice and bulgar and a side of hummus with pita. We picked up our order like she said within 20 minutes. She was really the nicest person and would come back because she was so hospitable! We drove back home and couldn't wait to try our dinner. It was absolutely AMAZING!!! We loved everything we ordered and will definitely come back again! We highly recommend this place!
All the food we tried were so good and tasty. Appetizer, kebab and the tea. AJ our waitress was so warm and jolly and it made the ambiance of the place even more pretty (see their backyard)

Feels like eating in a soup kitchen. Overpriced and for no good reason.less workers and no servers. Too bad it used to be a great spot with great food and service.
Food is good although I'd probably suggest keeping it to main Turkish meals like kebabs. Breakfast was just OK where we also had a "salad" which had unripe tomatoes so lacked flavor. Unfortunately they were short staffed too with many customers so, items were missed from our order. Will give it another go, maybe.
Not the worst gyro I’ve eaten, but definitely disappointing. Gyro is lacking flavor and the lemon potatoes are decent. Atmosphere and staff are pleasant.

Nothing better on a rainy day than warm Turkish tea with pistachio baklava. I love this place for all the tasty Turkish goodies, especially the fresh homemade simit. And it's not just the food. It's the vibe, the service, the music-everything together. A really lovely place❤️
Don’t get me wrong this is a great place. But if you decide to go there for any event or game you can expect really slow service. They had 3 servers for close to 200 people. Had to wait an hour to order food and then another hour for it to come out because the kitchen closed due to the amount of people. The line for the bar was close to 50 people long so I couldn’t even get a beer. Can’t blame the servers but management should get on the ball, that was terrible.

This is a great place for you and your friends to gather! Huge selection of beers, great atmosphere, and good vibes. Make sure you come earlier enough to reserve your spot at one of the communal tables.
2 great Sunday afternoons this summer! Love the live music and servers, and have never had a rude bartender inside or out. Surprisingly gay-friendly, including the security guard outside. We'll definitely be back!
Eaten here twice, and thoroughly enjoyed the food. For appetizers, the tomato and eggplant with warm pide bread is delicious. The chicken adana entree is well-seasoned and tender, and served with a tasty yogurt sauce.
What a hidden Gem!!! We had a brunch on Mother's Day. They have a very refreshing ambiance. The food was amazing. Staff is friendly and very attentive. Tables and tableware were so neat and colorful. Loved visiting. I will definitely be coming back for more. We ordered cheese borek, Turkish coffee, Turkish tea, meneme with beef, Lamb chops, meze platter, and Creme burlee. Everything is well made, flavorful, good portion size and fresh. We loved their fresh hot, fluffy, crispy bread.cheese borek was awesome. Lamb chops were well made. The platter was good, too.
amazing turkish food with such a wide array of options and everything is truly worth trying. it’s best to go with a large group, because you can try more platters. we got the mezze platter, which has all the tips and turkish bread. we also got the mixed grill platter, which has a variety of meat skewers, which all were flavorful and delicious…my only comment is that i wish there was beef included in the mixed grill platter. the service was also awesome- the restaurant wasn’t crowded, so the waitress gave us a lot of attention and was very friendly. definitely recommend / will be back!
Love this place! Hadn't been back since the pandemic and it made me happy to return. The food is fine, service is a little slow on a weekend evening, but the atmosphere and the beer are awesome! Such a great spot for the community to come together. We need more of those in this crazy world ❤️
Gyro person here….yeah I love Gyros….like one of my favorite things and I landed here 🤯 and the Gyros here are amazing. Gyro and fries are like meant to be.

This place is the best to get you authentic Greek produce, in addition the staff is very courteous! Love going there everything is so good . Highly recommended 👍🏼
Great place to go with friends on a Friday night. Nice selection of pub food. The pretzel with cheese starter is huge. Brats and kielbasa come with two large portions. Both grilled, both delicious. Several beers on tap, full bar, decent selection of hard seltzers and cider.
This market is a hidden gem in Queens! They have such a wide range authentic Greek products including fresh items like cheeses, olives, spreads, etc. The staff are super helpful at picking products, they helped translate info about items, allowed me to taste the cheese, and even shared a recipe with me. The store was extremely clean and organized every time I visited. Would recommend to anyone looking to try out new, delicious foods and those who want to receive impeccable customer service every time!
I asked my my wife to stop by Mediterranean Tastes on N. Blvd at 196th Street to pick up a few items for Orthodox Easter. She picked her items and waited on line for her turn to pay. The customer in front of her spoke fluent Greek to the man behind counter and expressing that he doesn't have a bag. The worker behind the counter said I'll give you one with no charge. When it was my wife's turn to pay she spoke Greek and a mixture of English to him. He then turned around to his other coworker and said she's American/Greek and charged her for the bag. This post is not because of the "bag" but instead how this place treats differently "Greeks" vs. American-Greeks. Also, my wife never gives reviews despite how great or bad her experiences are. I'm writing this on her behalf because she feels like she never wants to go back to this store, being singled out. It's a shame because this store has some very good items that we like.

Firstly, the security at the front was very friendly and had good energy. We all loved his vibe. First time here, very spacious and nice service. They have a friendly staff.
French fries was good. I love breaded French Fries. Loved the sausages. Must try. Grilled Andouille mix of beef and pork. Delicious. Grilled Klobasa pork was delicious too. Hamburger was average.

I love this store!! Like what others say, it is a small place but it is well stocked you will be able to find everything you need. The employees are super nice too. They will make you feel comfortable and at home, even for non-Greeks like me. Their spinach pie and olive bars are really good.
Usually shop here with my in-laws (They are Greek). There is a wide variety of products including cheeses, olives, oil, pastries, newspapers, etc. Prices seem about average and there can be a line especially after masses at the Greek Church let out. There is a very small lot located in the rear of the building.
