These are the best pizza I've had in Hanau. The service is awesome too. One of my fav places to go.

Das Restaurant liegt in einer Seitenstraße in Hanau, direkt am Heraeus-Gelände. Parkplätze gibt es ein paar wenige vor dem Restaurant oder am Straßenrand. Das Lokal ist gemütlich mediterran eingerichtet. Der Service ist wirklich super. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich direkt herzlich Willkommen. Es gibt Tagesempfehlungen und eine umfangreiche Speisekarte mit italienischen und deutschen Gerichten. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir hatten Rucolasalat, Rumpsteak, Schnitzel, Pizza und Spaghetti Carbonara. Am Ende hatten wir auf Empfehlung eine gemischte Dessertvariation, die ebenfalls sehr lecker war. Besonders das Tiramisu hat uns ausgesprochen gut geschmeckt. Wir werden hier bestimmt wieder herkommen, um auch die anderen leckeren Gerichte aus der Karte auszuprobieren.

the food was too spicy even the one I ordered for my daughter. The price of wine was overpriced at least 3 times. Otherwise good atmosphere and good service.

I never felt a such a looser in any restaurant like here, they treat you nice but food is unbelievable comic. what is the connection between the food and the name of restaurant? the price is so high for a bunch of supermarket packed food which are dressed to insult your taste and humiliate your intelligence.

Waren zum ersten mal im La Taverna, etwas versteckt und unscheinbar in einer Seitengasse nähe Klinikum Hanau. Das Restaurant ist schön und gemütlich eingerichtet, hat bei gutem Wetter sogar einen Biergarten - die Besitzer super nettbund zuvorkommend, Sie bedient und er kocht seit 22 Jahren und das schmeckt man. Super leckere cross gebackene Pizzen, dünner Teig mit ordentlich Belag und tolle Konstellationen, u.a. viel mit Gorgonzola. Wir waren alle mega zufrieden und kommen wieder. Danke!

A superb upper-class restaurant with a magnificent flair and top cuisine. The atmosphere is sophisticated and warm. The small garden with pond and chinese(?) ducks lend to great a coulisse (they can even lower the windows so you're feel being outside while sitting inside - fantasitc idea!!)

Das Ristorante La Taverna ist einfach herausragend. Ob Vorspeise, Hauptgericht oder Dessert ... einfach perfekt. Dazu allerbester Service, der perfekt berät, schnell, professionell und sehr freundlich ist. Auf einer Skala von 0 bis 100 würden wir hier die vollen 100 Punkte vergeben. Nicht ein einziger Kritikpunkt.

Dining alone on a business trip. Very well received. Seated correctly. Great starter and fabulous main course! great pricing! only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I should have been given 2 minutes more to select from the menu, and because there was a bit too much salad on the carpaccio to my taste. well worth the walk from the hotel! will return if I ever stay in Hanau again.
