For an airport? This was amazing. Definitely expensive but it's worth it in my opinion. Had the chicken Parm sandiwch, fries and a pepsi, tho you can get tap water for free. With tip and taxes it was 40$. But to get mediocre airport food, Id rather pay extra and get good food.

AMAZING margherita pizza. Honestly the only good restaurant in the entire terminal. Very very good pizza, especially considering it's in an airport.

Chose this spot because the food court in the terminal didn’t look too appealing. Ordered the chicken milanese based on the servers recommendation. The chicken was savory and had a nice breading. Decent sized plate for the price. The service was great and the gentleman behind the bar was courteous.

Me and my husband recently had a fantastic dining experience at La Vie in Terminal 5 at JFK Airport. The service provided by our waiter, Jon, was exceptional – he was kind, friendly, and ensured our dining experience was delightful. The overall service was excellent, and the food was equally impressive. I highly recommend La Vie for a quick meal before your flight. Five stars!

After wasting my time and money on Custom Burgers, I was hesitant to try any other restaurant in Terminal 5. However, I am SO glad that I ended up at La Vie! We ordered two of their margherita pizzas and were shocked at how amazing the food was! The dough was light and fluffy, the sauce was flavorful, and the cheese was delicious. I can’t wait to fly out of JFK’s Terminal 5 again just for a chance to enjoy this pizza again.

Save your hard earned money and DO NOT stop at this restaurant! Waste of time and money: they charged me $4.99 for a small Diet Pepsi which was served with LOTS of ice, no refills: 2 sips and it was gone. Ordering and payment procedure can be difficult if your phone's WiFi capabilities are slow or your phone battery juice is low. Not a charger in sight.
The place was not busy at all, with 2 patrons sitting on bar, drinking wine. For some reason, my meatball appetizer took over 20mins to arrive--in fact, I never even got to receive and enjoy it, as my flight started to board, attendant said food wasn't available yet, and I had to dash to my gate.
I really thought I'd like this spot, due to lovely Parisian decor. Very disappointed.

Ate here after we flew in from an international flight. Better than average airport food and great server. The music, however, is way too loud and should be something more easy listening. Impossible to make any phone calls it’s so loud.

Before writing my review, I read a couple of the other reflections of other travelers to see how far off base my observations might be. While it’s probably true that all of the restaurants at the Jetblue terminal are probably owned and operated by the same food conglomerate, my wife and I were very impressed with both the food as well as the server, Brendon, who was gracious and seemed to take great interest in our happiness with our breakfast. While this was our first time eating at La Vie, we will definitely return. It’s conveniently located next to the Starbucks and often obscured by their long lines. Initially we were on the Starbucks line but then had time to read La Vie’s poster board menu and decided( since we noticed an empty table) to opt out of our line and enjoy our granola and berries breakfast. And their coffee was excellent!
