I've been to lazeez shawarma about 7-8 times in the past 4 months and here are my reviews.
Taste- 3.5/5 (their taste definitely needs some improvement)
Value for money- 2.5/5 (comparatively expensive)
Portion sizes-4/5 (ample quantity)
Service- 5/5 (I'd like to point out exceptional service done by NOOR. She was friendly polite and also gave me choice toppings. Exceptional service by her hence the 5/5)

Worst shawarma we've ever tasted! Waste of money! My kids couldn't eat that gyro beef +lamb. It was so disgusting and it went straight to the garbage bin after picking some rice out of it. Went straight to the garbage bin. You should have told me from the start it's a processed meat and not real lamb and beef. You could get away with someone else but me who knows how real meat tastes like.
Chicken wasn't good either, especially when you put so much rice and so little chicken in a large plate.

The rice is cold, very old and hard like stone. I think it has been cooked for several days and they do not change it because the shop has no customers! And I don't blame them and the chicken tastes terrible! I can't believe how the hospital allowed them to sell such bad food even though the standards and conditions are supposed to be strict because it is a health facility!🤢
Horrible experience. Do NOT order from here on delivery apps. Waited over an hour to receive my order and they cancelled it despite being open. If it was an issue for them to begin with, they should have cancelled it from the start rather than an HOUR into waiting. Never taking the risk again.

One of the best shawarma places I’ve been to in a while! It’s delicious, the prices are good and the portions are crazy! I was in the area for work so next time I’m in this area I’ll definitely be stopping by again! I got the chicken shawarma supreme.
For anyone looking for some good authentic Lebanese food, this is the place! Vegetarian or meat lovers will have so many options! I strongly recommend the sharing platters so you can sample a bit of everything...but more than anything their hummus is a must!

This is the best shawarma I've tried in KW! Everything is fresh, flavorful and delicious. The chicken is tender and perfectly spiced, and there is a perfect ratio of meat, veggies and sauces in the wrap. Extra points for the crisp iceberg lettuce and sweet onion. The falafel is served up golden brown on the outside and deliciously soft and aromatic on the inside. Very friendly and attentive staff. Small location, best for take-out.
It’s located at a nice spot right beside Starbucks. We had two chicken shawarma wraps, tbh it tasted mediocre felt like missing flavour. Service was okay but food could have been better. Might try again someday.

Massive portion. The wrap I got was very juicy and huge. Lots of chicken , I didn't even have to ask. Some other shawarma places sell the same wrap for half portion. Please don't change
Ordered 3 wraps to go. Paid for extra toppings for 2 of them. The first one we paid for fries in the wrap and never received it. We asked for mild hot sauce in the wraps (one line) and it was so spicy I couldn't take more than 2 bites. The hot sauce made it impossible to taste anything else in the wraps, definitely not worth it.
Had a food delivery through Uber for this store, the order was ready for more then 20 mins, told the employee that I just got the order less then 5 mins ago and even though not my fault, I told him sorry, but he still gave me bad rating. All they care is for own business, don’t care if they upset other people and their work. We also do hard work, drive alot to make pennies, i ate at your store several times but never again nor ever picking order for your store again.

Got a reduced size instead of large one because food was mistakenly putting in lid on the shallow side😨 the pictures show the upside-down box, two ventilation holes were under food.
I usually cannot finish one but I finished this one and still very hungry.🥲

1001 nights took my last minute request to cater an employee evening event without issue. They were very accommodating of the order and some special requests. The food showed up on time and delicious. Everyone was very happy. A lot of us at our work jump over many times to get a quick healthy wrap or plate for lunch, always satisfying! For sure one of the top shawarma houses in town…I believe you can call in an order so it is ready to avoid the high school crowd.
This pair that was working Thursday November 30 at 1130 am.....you 2 are the best!!! I've never had a shawarma poutine like this in my life. Keep it up!!
I work accross the way at maurices and often go to this location when on shift. I usually get a small container of meat and turnips,i have been doing this since they opened. I went there today as i brought a green salad from home to have for lunch while on shift at maurices and i was greeted by a young man ive never seen before. I told him what i wanted snd it SEEMED that there eouldnt be an issue as when i eas explaining to him whatvinwanted he knoded snd finished my dentence for me. He then said, ee dont do thst snd the only option was to get a BIG container of the iptions thst included items i didnt want. Im not sure when or why they changed their policy of not givong PAYING customer otter options to with make their own platter like they used to and have a price point to coinside. I was looking very much forward to the day and my lunch. Its sad that companies care more about making money that loosing customers..i guess theyll jist keep ripping others who choose to go to make up for the lack in sales. I willll NEVER go there again.
Very small shop but very nice people! The food tastes good and is decently sized for the price. Usually wait 10 min but they let you know.
Our family of 5 came here for lunch and we ordered the mixed family platter. The food was so delicious and fresh and the portion sizes were very generous! We loved all the different dips and pickled vegetables and the bread was warm and fresh! Our server was very friendly and came to check on us multiple times and refill our hot water for the tea. We really enjoyed our meal here and will be back again!
My family comes to this place so much at least 4-5 times a month their food is so delicious and generous portion size. I recommend this place to all my friends. I love the variety of veggies and sides. Our favourite is the chicken shawarma platter and the shawarma supreme fries(sometimes substitute fries for rice) I LOVE the garlic potatoes

Update: Their skip the dish delivery did not disappoint. I was worried thing’s would be missed with a delivery order and I’m so happy to say I got the same awesome Quality as if I picked it up my self!

Had the chicken shawarma plate for lunch today. Fries and chicken were very dry. Felt like I was eating reheated leftovers from last night. The salad was the only thing that was fresh. The garlic sauce was a bit salty.
Maybe the wraps are their best based on reviews. The sharwama plate didn't even come anywhere near their ratings.

I got a chicken shawarma salad & hubby got shawarma poutine! My salad was absolutely delicious but the hubbys poutine he wasn’t happy with! They put on a very little amount of cheese on it (like 6-7 pieces) when he asked if he can put more on it, the guy said no we only put 1 scoop of cheese on it! Their scoop is a tablespoon!!! How is that when someone is paying for a poutine they don’t get their moneys worth???
Best shawarma wraps in town. Plates are good too, only complaint is that sometimes the fries are overcooked. Overall they are quite consistent and I keep coming back. Whatever hot sauce they used in my wrap today was amazing - not sure if it's new?

Pita was nicely mixed with the ingredients and had a good amount of them. Beef was well seasoned and cooked right. The little cup of $4.50 onion rings were quite depressing, however; not much onion and just crisped batter over-load. Pita and drink were reasonably priced.

Loved the food! The garlic sauce was the highlight. I recommend getting the plates as they come with fries/rice. Wraps are huge and make a good meal too. Next time I’m gonna get the dip sampler.
If you want delicious Lebanese, Middle Eastern, food, you must try this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!

I have been coming to Pita Factory off and on for years and am a huge fan of their fresh veggies.
Today when I went to get a gyro salad I was disappointed to see the quality of the veggies. The cucumbers were rubbery, the tomatoes were extremely soft and mushy, and the general overall quality of the salad was not worth the $14.
I am still willing to give Factory Pita another shot, but probably at a different location.

Great spot in Kitchener for a sit down middle eastern / Palestinian shawarma or mashawi meal. The fresh hot and puffy bread is delicious with their Mtabal or humus. We also had the lentil soup, chicken and been wraps and we enjoyed it all. The portions are huge and perfect for sharing in that respect price is decent if you factor the sharing.

Ordered from skip, they accepted my order. Half hour later, driver went there said the restaurant was closed, didn't get order. My order got cancelled. I waited 1 hour for no food and now I have to wait another hour to order again. Why do you do this to your customers?
Shawarma Wrap was very good. Shawarma well seasoned and juicy, not dry at all. Garlic sauce was flavourful and fresh, ingredients from wrap to veggies were all fresh. Shawarma was large and filling, on the expensive side as things are now, just under $17 for wrap and a can of sprite. Service was fast and very friendly. I want to specifically note that this restaurant is extremely clean. From the seating area, tables, food displays and cooking equipment and utensils everything was absolutely spotless!! I really appreciate that. 9/10 would recommend.
Always go to the location. Owner is a stand up guy. Loads good food in that pita with no skimping on amount. It's easily the best bang for your buck in the city. 👍👍🤙
Delicious food, fresh ingredients, friendly service, recommend the stir fry pita with or without proteins it is great, add honey garlic sauce for that extra flavour. Onion rings are better than the fries.

To end a not soo great day, with the tastiest comfort food, is the best way to go. We love the quantity, quanlity and all the flavors of this place. Chicken on rocks our favorite, and poutine is amazing as well, definitely worth it.
I will go out of my way to go here. The staff especially the owner are always friendly. The food is great and the portions are great. Would absolutely recommend.
Best shawarma in the Guelph / Kitchener area! Drove 30mins to try it and was so worth it!! The servers are so friendly and helpful. The pita is fresh and delicious. Everything was so so yummy. Really great experience, will definitely be back!

their shawarma on the sticks is delicious i come here often now just for it. fries are made to order and cripsy. wait time isnt too long considering how busy they get with take outs. worth to try out pricing is also fair and reasonable

First time visit here. Welcoming staff , patiently took the order. Thank you Mohammad and hummaid for your generous service. I loved the chicken platter with garden salad. Chili fries 🍟 were delicious . Good seating arrangement, washrooms were also cleaned .

Great services, friendly staff, and has the best suggestions and choices of fresh topping. Ordered 2 chicken stir fry traditional with pineapple and banana peppers added sweet chillies and honey garlic sauces on top. There is no limit on how much sauces, and the types of sauces. Onions rings and french fries on the sides 😍.
Neither VFM nor good taste and the food was flavourless and bland! The quantity abysmal & mediocre for over 16$ & overall pricey for a Shawarma plate! Seems like the reviews are concocted & definitely 💯 not going back again! More importantly, I don’t understand why had to wait 15 minutes to eat uncooked rice. Heck, even had to go home and do my own spices & seasoning 🧂 including salt! Honestly can’t trust Google reviews nowadays & one must check recent reviews too. Period.
VERY STINGY ON MEAT: Ordered 2 Large and one Regular. Lots of rice not many on meat even though I asked to put abit more. I normally go to Lazeez in University but came here since it's closer. The university lazeez location is very generous with the portion of meat and I recommend that location even though it's further. Here's the photos to prove it.

I tried to contact the owner about this and you cant just hold of him, no contact info. I bought 2 of these and its just full with rice and flooded with garlic sauce, no chicken, that's all I taste. Don’t eat there if you are having a bad day because it will make it worse. I never thought I would say I hate shawarma but yet I eat their and it was worst I ever tasted. Too salty food, don’t get fool by low prices, they serve very small portions. The girl add just few chunks of shawarma in a shawarma plate. I’m sorry for anyone who is going to eat shawarma food their for first time. Fries was fried in cold oil and they were so oily. I think the owners don’t know basics of food industry. Horrible experience. And being this in hospital makes it even worse. Never going to eat again. Highly not-recommended.
This is my first time ordering through Uber Eats. It's also my first time ordering through your restaurant. The portions were incredibly small for the price - four pieces of small chicken? We both ordered Tzatziki and only got one container, and a small one at that. I'm sorry to say but it was extremely disappointing. I'm going to stick with Omega as the portions are incredible and the prices are amazing. Also note this place is in Grand River Hospital and should not be serving food during a pandemic. I feel disgusting!

Great food, great service! I always enjoy chatting with the employees here and the food is always fresh! I choose to visit this location which is across town from where I live, so that is a good testament to the quality! If you're looking for a delicious, healthy bite to eat, check this place out!

Strong great burst of flavour when you take your first bite. What is really amazing is the flavour stays consistent thought your whole time eating the wrap. So delicious!!!!! The service was very fast and they were very kind. For 8$ after tax, this is a great, quick spot to eat lunch.
