I lived in Madison for years. His photographs of Madison bring me back to that great city. The colors and layout Talbot achieves make his photographs mesmerizing. His photos of people seem to immortalize them and put them in another dimension. I don't know how he does it. I have known Terry Talbot for many years, and consider him a great genius of photography.

I had the pleasure of visiting his studio recently during artists open house night in Madison. He shows lithographs and paintings by a number of other artists whose artworks and posters are offbeat and highly creative. Staring at them puts me in something like an altered state of mind.

For collectors, I often think that In years to come, I think that many of the items from this studio are highly collectible.

Great local gallery in my hometown. Moved to warmer weather almost 3 years ago but hadn't forgotten about my hubby's favorite canvas that he admired in the front window. Called Terry a couple weeks before Christmas to purchase it and have shipped. Arrived on time and hubby was more than surprised! It hangs in his home office just above his desk. Love it!! What a wonderful studio. My husband and I were very excited to visit Talbot Studio and Gallery on our weekend away in Madison. The studio is very warm and inviting, there’s so much to look at. Terry is so wonderful to talk to and he told us about his own work and the other artists as well. We could have talked to him all day if we could have! His photography is stunning, my husband and I bought a photo of Terry’s that he took at the Olbrich Botanical Gardens. We look forward to coming here every time we are in Madison and hope to add to our art collection each time we visit!

Terry is one of the best photographers/artists in Madison. We have 2 of his canvas printed digitally modified photos in our condo and a number of his other prints hanging also. We always get positive comments on them from our guests. Terry being a long time Madison resident, has a great eye for capturing the local flavor and architecture of the city.
